Chapter 23 Familiarity (Part Two)

At eight o'clock, Liang Cheng led her to a small building on the east side of the courtyard.

Sitting in the armchair, he stared blankly at the three people in front of him. Liang Cheng introduced them as the heads of their garment factory and company, with Liang Cheng being their chief manager.

In short, those three are the manager, the factory director, and the chief accountant!

The clothing company has its own brand, which is operated by these three individuals.

So what does Liang Cheng do?

Those who collect debts know that his role is basically to protect the company and garment factory.

For example, when the gang caused trouble at the show, he was responsible for maintaining order; that was roughly his role.

As usual, Zhao Xiaoyue checked the total accounts. Wow, a net profit of 200 million yuan a year! It's infuriating to compare yourself to others!

"Young boss, let me introduce our company... it occupies..."

Liang Cheng started babbling on.

Zhao Xiaoyue actually strongly resisted such occasions, even though they didn't have any bad feelings towards her. At this moment, she just wanted to fly to the Commonwealth to find a comic convention.

The meeting didn't finish until 10 a.m.

Zhao Xiaoyue walked out of the small attic with her limbs dangling, looking listless and as if she had been touched by a fairy, as if she would be blown away by the wind.

Liang Cheng couldn't stand it any longer. He straightened his leather jacket, ran his fingers through his hair, and said, "Hey boss, I'll take you to the arcade to relax. There's a pretty good amusement park here. Want to go? It's on me!"

Zhao Xiaoyue glanced at Liang Cheng, then her eyelids drooped again.

The meaning is clear: I don't want to go, I'm not interested, whatever!

Once she got on that pirate ship, she didn't care whether she could or couldn't do it; Zhao Xiaoyue had no human rights whatsoever!

"Ahem, well, why don't you tell me? I'll listen to whatever you say, but don't go too far."

Zhao Xiaoyue's eyes lit up, and she straightened her back. "Really? You're not lying to me? I'll do whatever you say I'll do?"

After all, he's just a kid, so Liang Cheng thought he couldn't push him too hard. He nodded and replied, "I'm the kind of guy who would never lie!"

Yes, only for children!

Then, Zhao Xiaoyue and Liang Cheng prepared to go shopping.

To be honest, Zhao Xiaoyue really didn't know much about big cities in this era, and she needed to catch up!

Wearing flared jeans and a particularly floral shirt, with her hair styled in a non-mainstream afro bun and small glasses, she looked perfect!

Liang Cheng had a cigarette in one hand and was fiddling with a pager in the other. When he saw Zhao Xiaoyue's outfit, he almost choked on the smoke.

"Cough cough cough cough, little boss, this, this, this, isn't it too damp?"

His main concern was that his sixth brother would find out if he found out that his beloved disciple had turned out like this and would kill him.

Despite his involvement in trendy clothing, they are all very conservative and traditional people.

Zhao Xiaoyue skipped and hopped, calling out, "Come on, Uncle Liang, let's go shopping and have some fun!"

Well, as long as the child is happy.

Liang Cheng never expected that something even more explosive was yet to come.

Liang Cheng was driving, and Zhao Xiaoyue was sitting in the passenger seat, exclaiming how wonderful the world was!

After playing all afternoon, Liang Cheng's legs were about to break. The little girl was so eager to explore; she didn't buy anything, but just wanted to wander around everywhere.

The afterglow of the setting sun spilled onto the most bustling street in Haicheng, making the city seem even more enigmatic.

As Zhao Xiaoyue finished eating and was wondering where to go next, she inadvertently looked up and saw the words "Century Club" flashing in large letters.

He quickly waved to Liang Cheng behind him, still a little excited, "Uncle Liang, Uncle Liang, look! (Century Club), let's go take a look!"

As he spoke, he dodged the tram and ran in that direction.

"Hey, wait a minute."

Zhao Xiaoyue had already run away and didn't listen to him at all.

What Liang Cheng is trying to say is that that's Yu Muqi's territory.

Well, he's pretty much done handing over everything anyway, let Yu Muqi have his headaches.

As the two men, with differing mindsets, entered the Century Club, the receptionist immediately recognized Master Liang.

He immediately stepped forward to ask if I needed help, his smile as obsequious as could be.

Liang Cheng took out his gold card and said casually, "Take a plate of the fruit that just arrived today, and a carton of the imported milk from yesterday morning to the Peony Pavilion."

The receptionist respectfully took the card, instructed someone to retrieve it, and then bent over to open the elevator door.

Liang Cheng took a moment to send a message to Yu Muqi, telling him that the little boss had arrived.

Zhao Xiaoyue secretly thought that, judging from the familiarity of the people here, the person surnamed Liang must be a regular.

Tsk tsk, what kind of good people can frequent "clubs"?

Liang Cheng saw through Zhao Xiaoyue's disdainful look at a glance and immediately laughed in anger, "Don't look at your brother Liang like that, I'm a normal man too!"

As he spoke, he tapped the elevator wall with his index finger. He was originally going to tap Zhao Xiaoyue on the head, but he didn't dare!

Zhao Xiaoyue tugged at her floral shirt and chuckled, "No, nothing like that, hehehe."

Liang Cheng turned his face away, and his smile looked so fake!

Yu Muqi received the notification and was already waiting at the door of the private room at Peony Pavilion, followed by two bodyguards in black.

Zhao Xiaoyue was thinking of seeing the clubhouse of this era, but unexpectedly the elevator went straight up.

When Liang Cheng saw Zhao Xiaoyue frowning, he explained, "Let's go see Lao Qi first. This is the club that Yu Muqi is in charge of."

Zhao Xiaoyue blinked, and soon they stopped on the fourth floor.

Yu Muqi threw away his cigarette butt and just then saw Liang Cheng and Zhao Xiaoyue exiting the elevator.

As soon as Zhao Xiaoyue stepped out of the elevator, she stared blankly at Yu Muqi, her displeasure growing at a visible rate.

Yu Muqi smiled wickedly, behaving very respectfully, "Little boss, welcome to Century Club, I'll make sure you're happy!"

He then opened his arms to hug Zhao Xiaoyue.

Liang Cheng glared at him. Anyone who knew him would think he was harassing a seven or eight-year-old child, which was a terrible thing to do.
