Chapter 79 Fortune tellers are so annoying!

Ye Sisi was completely stunned. The pistol fell to the ground with a thud. Her dark green eyes were filled with shock and confusion, and her usual cunning and agility were nowhere to be seen.

"A person from another world, a soul from another realm!"

"A person from another world, a soul from another realm!"

"A person from another world, a soul from another realm!"

...

She kept repeating this sentence in her mind, and her body and soul were violently impacted. For a moment, she didn't know how to react.

Bai Luochen also noticed something was wrong at this moment. Seeing his junior sister staring blankly at the boy opposite her, he quickly pushed her, then bent down to pick up the pistol from the ground and said irritably, "Junior sister, this is something I painstakingly crafted. Can't you cherish it a little?"

Ye Sisi quickly composed herself, feeling a surge of anger as she looked at the smiling young man opposite her. For the first time, she felt a strong urge to kill someone.

You see, her transmigration into the book is her biggest secret. If others knew she came from another world, countless people would want to capture her and use her as a guinea pig. So this person cannot be allowed to live.

The young man wasn't angry at her cold gaze. Instead, he waved his folding fan and transmitted his voice, "Don't be angry, young friend. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone about this!"

Ye Sisi composed herself, suppressing her turbulent emotions, and asked calmly, "Who are you?"

"I am Yun Chao of the Tianji Sect!"

Meeting Yun Chao's clear gaze, Ye Sisi asked again via telepathy, "What do you want to do?"

Yun Chao smiled and said, "I would like to invite Fellow Daoist Ye to visit my Tianji Sect!"

Ye Sisi's lips twitched. These fortune tellers were so annoying, especially their smug smiles that made her teeth ache.

So she took out a cramp-relieving talisman and smashed it into his face, determined that if she couldn't have an easy time, then no one else could either.

This scene came unexpectedly. Yun Chao, who had just been smiling, did not expect the girl in front of him to make a move. He subconsciously reached out to swat away the talisman coming towards him, but the talisman disappeared as soon as it touched his hand, and then he began to twist uncontrollably.

Yun Chao was a divination cultivator, and his physical strength and reaction speed were far inferior to Bai Luochen's. Therefore, he collapsed to the ground in pain, and even though he was a Golden Core cultivator, he was tortured and screamed in agony.

Everyone around was dumbfounded. They had just noticed that something was wrong, and many of them had seen that Ye Sisi and the other person were communicating telepathically. But they hadn't expected Ye Sisi to suddenly smash the talisman. Moreover, they had never seen such a talisman that caused convulsions before!

Feng Huohuo couldn't help but put her hands on her hips and said, "You brat, Senior Brother Yun is the sect leader's personal disciple! Where did you get the guts to lay a hand on him!"

Ye Sisi glanced at her and said softly, "Want one too?"

Feng Huohuo immediately chickened out, speechless, and turned around to try to use his spiritual power to help Yun Chao expel the talisman.

Bai Luochen drew his sword and pressed it against Yun Chao's chest, looking calmly at his junior sister: "Do you need my help?"

He had just been standing next to Ye Sisi and clearly felt the intense killing intent there. Having spent so much time together, Bai Luochen believed he understood his junior sister quite well. Although she was a bit eccentric and would occasionally play pranks, she was definitely not a murderer. He had never felt any killing intent from her, not even towards her tea-faced younger sister.

But now this fortune teller has actually made my junior sister want to kill him. Even a fool would know that he must know some secret about my junior sister, a secret that my junior sister fears. Only the dead can keep secrets.

Although he was only sixteen years old and had never killed anyone, what did it matter? He was the senior brother, so he could handle this kind of thing.

Ye Sisi felt a warmth in her heart when she met Bai Luochen's gaze, and vowed never to trick this silly fifth senior brother again. She said, "I will kill this person myself in the future. Keeping him alive for now is still useful!"

Everyone present stared at the brother and sister in astonishment. They knew that the person in front of them was the most outstanding disciple of the Tianji Sect in this generation, and was very likely to be the next sect leader of the Tianji Sect. Even if they were from the Canglan Sect, they couldn't just kill them like that!

Seeing that his junior sister had spoken up, Bai Luochen kicked Yun Chao, who was still convulsing, and coldly transmitted his voice, "Let me tell you, if you dare to do anything to hurt my junior sister, I will have my master wipe out your Tianji Sect!"

Yun Chao, enduring the throbbing pain in his body, transmitted his voice: "You're from the Heavenly Spirit Sect, aren't you? Do you know, you should have..."

He had only spoken halfway when a layer of thunderclouds suddenly gathered in the sky. The terrifying pressure made the hairs on everyone's heads stand on end. Yun Chao also stopped transmitting his voice. He knew that there were some things he could keep to himself, but he couldn't tell anyone else.

Bai Luochen snorted coldly and continued to transmit his voice: "That's right, we are from the Heavenly Spirit Sect, so you should know how powerful my master is. You'd better keep your mouth shut!"

Ye Sisi glanced at the dark clouds overhead, then at Bai Luochen, whose eyes were practically spitting fire, and Yun Chao, whose features were contorted. She knew they were probably communicating telepathically as well. Her intuition told her that the lightning that almost struck down was brought by Yun Chao, the fortune teller, though she had no proof.

Clap clap clap!

The crisp sound of a slap broke the silence in the air. Everyone looked over and saw a figure shrouded in a black robe appear out of nowhere. He stood there quietly, his exposed fingers showing distinct knuckles. However, his skin was an unnaturally pale white, giving the impression that he was unwell at first glance.

The voice coming from under the hood was warm and gentle. Although it sounded a bit weak, it was still pleasant to the ear overall.

"Little girl, what kind of talisman did you just throw out? Could you sell me some?"

His words left everyone speechless, including Ye Sisi, who was stunned for a moment.

No! Are all heretical practitioners these days so unconventional?

Ye Sisi was the first to react, and said with a smile, "Okay!"

As she spoke, she took out a cramp-relieving talisman from her storage bag: "A talisman unique in the entire cultivation world, no bargaining, 100,000 spirit stones per talisman!"

People around were shocked to see Ye Sisi asking for such an outrageous price. She was really too daring!

What was even more shocking was that the black-robed man opposite actually agreed and readily tossed over a storage bag.

Ye Sisi was also surprised. After taking the storage bag and looking inside, she saw that not a single one of the 100,000 spirit stones was missing. So she smiled and tossed the cramp talisman in her hand over: "Transaction successful. I have some other fun talismans here. Want some more?"

The onlookers felt their worldviews were about to crumble; one dared to buy and the other dared to sell!
