Xie Mingzhe had a good sleep and rested up. He woke up the next day and continued making cards.
He planned to finish the set of Red Mansions Twelve Hairpins of Jinling at the rate of 3 to 4 cards a day.
The Twelve Jinling Hairpins are twelve women with different personalities portrayed in A Dream of Red Mansions. Xie Mingzhe still remembers these characters clearly. He has already made cards of Lin Daiyu, Xue Baochai, Jia Yuanchun, and Shi Xiangyun. The next ones to come are Jia Yingchun, Jia Tanchun, Jia Xichun, Wang Xifeng, Miaoyu, Qiaojie, Li Wan, and Qin Keqing.
The eldest sister Jia Yuanchun has already been prepared, so why not prepare the remaining three sisters Yingchun, Xichun and Tanchun as well?
These three girls, along with Jia Baoyu, grew up with their mother Jia and received a good education since childhood.
The second girl, Jia Yingchun, is gentle and kind, but also timid and weak, with a typical "soft bun" character. She has the nickname "Er Mutou", which shows that she is usually very dull and is the least courageous girl among the Twelve Princesses of Jinling.
Not only is she not as talented as her other sisters, she also only knows how to endure and compromise. Even when her jewelry was taken away by servants for gambling, she still has the attitude of "not wanting to pursue it". To put it nicely, she is kind, but to put it bluntly, she is cowardly.
It was her character that led to her tragic fate. Her father, Jia She, owed Sun's family 5,000 taels of silver and could not pay it back, so he took her to pay off the debt and married her to Sun's family. Not long after Yingchun got married, she was abused to death by her husband. Her ending was quite tragic.
Jia Yingchun's story is very consistent with the tragic experience of many women in feudal society. They "obey their fathers at home" and "obey their husbands after marriage", never dare to have their own opinions, and do not know how to resist after being abused. They can only accept it and cry silently. There were many people with such a soft personality in ancient times, and there are still many in modern times.
By making Jia Yingchun into a card, perhaps we can make a death card similar to Dou E, after all, her death was so tragic.
In terms of character image, Yingchun has a slightly plump figure and looks gentle and dignified. Due to her gentle temperament, her eyes are always soft. She holds a round fan in her hand and wears simple and elegant light blue clothes, looking like a gentle and virtuous lady from a noble family.
The first skill setting is to design a skill that can take the opponent's attack according to her character of "accommodating and tolerant", which can be regarded as forcibly attracting hatred. The second skill is to be triggered after being abused to death, so that teammates can obtain group benefits.
Jia Yingchun (Water System)
Level: Level 1
Evolution Star Level:★
Use times: 1/1 time
Basic Attributes: HP 200, Attack 0, Defense 200, Agility 30, Crit 0%
Additional skills: Accommodation and Tolerance (Passive skill. Jia Yingchun is gentle and kind, but timid and cowardly. She only knows how to accommodate and give in, but never resists. When the enemy target within a range of 23 meters releases an attack skill, Jia Yingchun will take the initiative to bear the damage and never dodge)
Additional Skills: Tortured to Death (Death Rattle Skill. Not long after Jia Yingchun got married, she was tortured to death by her husband. When she suffered a large amount of damage and died, her tragic fate silenced all enemy targets, and they could not continue to release skills in the next 3 seconds. All friendly targets fell into a sad state, and the healing effect was increased by 50%, which lasted for 10 seconds.)
Yingchun's deathrattle card can be used as a taunt card to attract hatred. When it is summoned, it absorbs the opponent's key skills. When it dies, it can also add a healing buff to teammates.
Silence the opponent for 3 seconds and increase the healing effect of your own people by 50%. This is obviously when your group is low on health and the opponent is about to be harvested, you can summon Jia Yingchun to actively seek death, and then take advantage of the 3 seconds of silence to quickly recover health.
This card is not as powerful as Dou'e, but the two deathrattle cards have different functions - Dou'e is a burst card for the whole group, controlling the opponent while increasing the output of the team, and can be used when the team is fully attacking. Yingchun is a defensive card, which can be used to save the game in the unfavorable situation when the team's health is low, absorbing damage and adding healing effects to teammates, taking the opportunity to restore the health of the whole group, and can be used when the team is fully defending.
Dou E attacks and Yingchun defends. The two deathrattle cards have their own strengths.
After Jia Yingchun, the next one is the third girl Jia Tanchun.
In complete contrast to Yingchun's kind and weak character, Jia Tanchun is smart and clever, and acts decisively, just like a rose with thorns. She will never be polite to anyone who dares to provoke her. Even Mrs. Wang and Sister Feng are very jealous of her.
During the search of the Grand View Garden, the other daughters who grew up in the greenhouse were panicked and didn't know what to do. Only Tanchun resolutely resisted and scolded a group of people speechless. When someone approached her to search her body, she slapped the person in the face without hesitation, defending her own dignity with righteousness and also venting the anger of the humiliated people in the Grand View Garden.
Tanchun is not only smart and courageous, but also very talented. She can write good poems and is a talented woman of first-class literary talent. She once initiated and established the Begonia Poetry Society, which was very popular at that time.
When Wang Xifeng was seriously ill, the smart and capable Tanchun took over the temporary management of the internal affairs of the Grand View Garden on behalf of Wang Xifeng and presided over the reform of the Grand View Garden. This is also the origin of the allusion of "Tanchun managing the household".
Unfortunately, the Grand View Garden was like a mansion that was about to collapse, and as a young girl with limited power, she could not save her family from decline. In the end, due to the war in the South China Sea, she was arranged by her father to marry a political mansion in the south, and was separated from her family.
Jia Tanchun's attacking power is very strong, and slapping someone in the face is the best proof. In ancient times, most of the daughters of wealthy families were gentle and virtuous, and a rose with thorns like Tanchun was very rare. Xie Mingzhe felt that it would be a waste if he didn't make her a losing card.
The first skill is called Slap, which uses the palm of the hand to attack a single target at close range, causing heavy damage.
There is also material for other skill designs. "Tanchun manages the household" and "Tanchun marries far away" are both classic stories in Dream of the Red Chamber.
Managing the household can be made into an auxiliary skill because it is about managing one's own people; marrying far away can be made into an "escape skill" because Tanchun, who married far away, just avoided the tragedy of the confiscation of the Grand View Garden.
According to the description in the original novel, Tanchun is a "thin-shouldered, thin-waisted, oval-shaped face, handsome eyes, well-shaped eyebrows, and a lively look." Different from her elder sister Yuanchun, who is dignified and generous, and her second sister Yingchun, who is gentle and weak, Tanchun has a very spiritual look and a sharp look in her eyes. She is a rich lady with handsome features and a lively look.
In terms of clothing design, Xie Mingzhe decided to draw a wedding dress for her, which just fits the story background of "Tanchun's Marriage Far Away".
After thinking about the setting, Xie Mingzhe began to make the card of Jia Tanchun.
A girl wearing a bright red wedding dress, a phoenix crown and delicate features gradually appeared on the nebula paper, and the skills of the card also slowly generated text descriptions according to his imagination.
Jia Tanchun (Water System)
Level: Level 1
Evolution Star Level:★
Use times: 1/1 time
Basic Attributes: HP 400, Attack 1000, Defense 400, Agility 30, Crit 30%
Additional Skills: Slap (Jia Tanchun is resolute and unwilling to be insulted. She raises her hand and slaps the opponent in anger, defending her dignity with righteousness. Tanchun can slap the opponent within 1 meter, causing 200% high single-target damage and making the opponent dizzy for 2 seconds; cooldown time is 25 seconds)
Additional Skills: Tanchun Manages Household (Jia Tanchun is smart and capable, and manages the family's internal affairs in an orderly manner. When Jia Tanchun manages the household affairs, in the next 5 seconds, all friendly targets are immune to control effects such as confusion, dizziness, and freezing, and always remain sober and rational; cooldown time is 45 seconds)
Additional Skill: Marry Far Away in the South China Sea (Jia Tanchun was forced to marry far away in Hainan under the arrangement of her father for a political marriage, and was separated from her family. When the skill is turned on, Jia Tanchun can teleport to a designated location within a range of 23 meters. At the same time, a friendly target designated by her can also be a member of the wedding party and teleport with Tanchun)
This card has only one output skill, Jia Tanchun's melee slap attack, which causes high damage and comes with stun control. However, since there are too many skills designed for her, her basic attack power is only 1000, which is considered to be an upper-middle level for output cards and cannot reach the highest value. The stun control is also only the shortest 2 seconds, and the cooldown time is also relatively long.
The second skill is that Tanchun is smart and wise when managing the household, and her mind always remains clear, so friendly forces are immune to all kinds of control for a period of time. It can be regarded as a relatively useful control-free auxiliary skill.
The third skill is a displacement skill, similar to Sun Shangxiang's return home. However, Sun Shangxiang is a single-person movement, suitable for long-range detours and rocket shooting. Tanchun is a melee fighter. Whether it is chasing the opponent at close range or dodging skills at critical moments to escape, she will be more flexible in the game with the teleportation skill. She can also pull a teammate to send her to marry, pull a teammate with low blood to escape, or pull a supporting teammate to be her bodyguard. She can use it flexibly according to the situation on the field.
Xie Mingzhe likes Jia Tanchun very much. It is an output card that combines single attack, control immunity and teleportation. Although the basic output is not particularly high, her flexibility is very strong. As long as she lives longer, she can deal high damage.
Next is the youngest daughter of the Jia family, Jia Xichun.
Unlike her three sisters, Xichun is aloof and cold, which is also related to her life experience.
She was the youngest of the four sisters in the Jia family. Her father, Jia Jing, was already old and indulged in practicing Taoism and refining elixirs in a Taoist temple. He eventually died of elixir poisoning. Her mother died shortly after she was born, so she had never received parental love since childhood.
Xichun was a member of the Ning Mansion, but she grew up with Jia Mu and Wang Furen in the Rong Mansion. Although Mrs. Jia loved her little granddaughter very much, she loved Baoyu the most. In addition, Daiyu and Baochai entered the Jia Mansion one after another, so Xichun naturally received less and less love. Living under someone else's roof also created her lonely and indifferent character.
Xichun's "indifference" was clearly revealed during the search of the Grand View Garden. When "contraband" was found in her maid's box, Xichun immediately distanced herself from the matter and said, "If you want to beat her, take her out and beat her. She and I have nothing to do with each other. As long as you don't cause trouble for me, you can do whatever you want with her."
She was indifferent to the maid's pleas for mercy, and even said, "Whether you beat her, kill her, or sell her, I don't care." Her maid knelt down and cried, begging bitterly, but Xichun was young, but she had a heart of stone and didn't care about other people's life or death.
Xichun's principle of doing things is "I just need to take care of myself. What does other people's affairs have to do with me?"
She once said a classic line: "If you are not ruthless, you will never be able to be a free man", which means that if you don't make up your mind to cut off all emotional entanglements in the world, you can't become a free person.
Because of this, when the four major families fell into decline and her three sisters either died tragically or married far away, Xichun became completely disappointed with everything in reality and had the idea of giving up the world. She eventually became a Buddhist nun.
Xie Mingzhe decided to make the Xichun card into an auxiliary card.
After all, Xichun in the original novel is not aggressive. She only cares about herself and doesn't care about others. So "keeping to herself" can be made into a passive skill. No matter whether her teammates are dead or alive, Xichun herself will not be wronged.
Another skill design is her final ending: seeing through the world and becoming a monk. Having completely lost faith in the world, she decided that from now on, only by being accompanied by the green lamps and ancient Buddhas, beating wooden fish, and listening to the temple bells can she find peace in her heart.
As for the character image, Xie Mingzhe decided to draw Xichun before she became a nun, so that the style would be consistent with that of the other three sisters and would be convenient for the crossover techniques later.
Xichun is the youngest, with facial features that still look somewhat youthful and immature. She is dressed in a pink and purple dress, dressed like a girl, but because her face is expressionless and her eyes are cold, she looks particularly noble and aloof.
Jia Xichun (Water System)
Level: Level 1
Evolution Star Level:★
Use times: 1/1 time
Basic Attributes: HP 1000, Attack 0, Defense 1500, Agility 30, Crit 30%
Additional Skills: Green Lantern and Ancient Buddha (Jia Xichun eventually became a nun, and from then on, the Green Lantern and Ancient Buddha accompanied her. She silently recited Buddhist scriptures, and silenced enemy targets within a range of 23 meters, making them unable to release skills. The duration lasted for 3 seconds; the cooldown time was 30 seconds)
Additional Skills: See Through the World (Passive Skill, Jia Xichun watches the world's disputes with cold eyes and sees through the world. When Jia Xichun appears, all invisible cards within a 23-meter range will automatically break their invisibility and reveal their figures)
Additional Skills: Keep Yourself out of the Dark (Passive skill. Jia Xichun's principle is to keep himself out of the dark. He only cares about himself and not the lives of others. Every time he is attacked, Jia Xichun will put on a water shield equal to 10% of his health, which lasts for 5 seconds)
This card is very consistent with Xichun's personality. The first skill is a ranged silencing control, which is a common group control skill. The second skill is a stealth-breaking skill, which can be used to target the opponent when he has an invisible card.
The third skill greatly improves Xichun's survivability. Every time she is attacked, she can cast a water shield on herself. Her defense is super high, and her basic life is also very high. She is already very difficult to fight. With the addition of the water shield, Xichun becomes the most difficult to kill among the Twelve Hairpins of Jinling in the Red Mansion. If she cannot be killed, she will silence the enemy, which will give the opponent a headache.
So far, the character cards of the four girls in the Jia family have all been completed.
The eldest sister Yuanchun and the fourth sister Xichun are both auxiliary cards, the second sister Yingchun is a deathrattle card, and the third sister Tanchun is a very powerful single attack card. What they lack now is a linkage skill.
The four girls are all Jia sisters, and the joint technique is called Yuan Ying Sigh, taking their names.
Yuanchun's additional skill: Originally Sighing (Linked skill, Yuanchun is the legitimate daughter of the Jia family. When Yingchun, Tanchun, and Xichun are present, the effect of Yuanchun's visit to her parents is enhanced, and the attack power, attack speed, and critical damage bonus of teammates within the range are increased to 70%)
The original bonus was 50%. When the younger sister is present, the bonus is increased to 70%, which is quite effective.
Yingchun's additional skill: Originally Sighing (linked skill, Yingchun is the second daughter of the Jia family. When any of Yuanchun, Tanchun, and Xichun are present, the blessing effect is triggered after Yingchun dies. The blessed sisters will have a water shield on their bodies, immune to one fatal injury)
This skill allowed the Jia sisters to be immune to one fatal injury after Yingchun's death. She died herself rather than let her sisters die. She was very kind.
Tanchun's additional skill: Originally Sighing (Linked skill, Tanchun is the third daughter of the Jia family. When any of the sisters Yuanchun, Yingchun, and Xichun are present, Tanchun is inspired by the sisters, and her basic attack power increases by 20%, and critical damage increases by an additional 20%)
Since Tanchun is an output card, then increase the output. With sisters present, the attack power will be even stronger.
Xichun's additional skill: Originally Sighing (Linked skill, Xichun is the fourth daughter of the Jia family. When any of her three sisters are present, Xichun thinks of her three sisters and silently recites Buddhist scriptures to extend the silencing control time of the enemy target by 2 seconds)
The four sisters of Jia Mansion work together to enhance the effects of their own skills.
Since Yingchun is a deathrattle card that will die as soon as it appears, the timing of summoning Tanchun, a powerful output card, must also be strictly controlled. So theoretically speaking, it would be difficult to achieve the condition of having Yuanchun, Yingchun, Tanchun and Xichun cards present at the same time.
Therefore, when designing the linkage technique, Xie Mingzhe used another description - when one of them is present.
This description is crucial. As long as one of the four sisters is present, the Jiafu sisters' linkage can be triggered, without the need for all four to be present at the same time. This makes it much easier, as any two sisters can buff each other.
This was Xie Mingzhe's first time to do the "four-card linkage", and the successful review sound from the system made him even more excited.
He placed the four sisters together in the card display cabinet, which was a real eye-opener at first glance.
The four daughters of the Jia family, with different personalities and appearances, are flesh-and-blood characters who together interpret the classic legendary story of Dream of the Red Chamber.
Cao Gong’s naming level is actually very high - the eldest sister Yuanchun, the word "Yuan" is a commemoration of her birth on the first day of the first lunar month; Yingchun's character is accommodating and tolerant, and she never resists; Tanchun likes to explore new things, and when managing the Grand View Garden, she made bold reforms and acted decisively; Xichun valued her life very much, and finally became a nun to ensure her own safety.
"Yuan", "Ying", "Shan" and "Xi" are homophones, referring to the four sisters Yuanchun, Yingchun, Tanchun and Xichun. Putting them together just hints at the tragic fate of the four sisters. Using this word as a linked skill can also help to better remember the rankings and card features of the four sisters.
In future competitions, the card combination of the four sisters will surely bring surprises to the audience!
