Chapter 157: Wei State Conspirators Group

As early as the beginning of designing the Wood card, Xie Mingzhe planned to make the Wood card into a "control flow" play. Many Wei's strategists can perform control skills. The first person Xie Mingzhe wanted to target was the most prominent one in the Wei's strategist group - Xun Yu, Xun Wenruo, who was called "my Zifang" by Cao Cao.

Xun Yu was the most important contributor to Cao Cao. He followed Cao Cao for many years, formulated the military strategy and basic route for Cao Cao to unify the north, and recommended a large number of talents to Cao Cao, including Xun You, Chen Qun, and Guo Jia.

When Cao Cao went out to fight, he would always let Xun Yu guard the rear, which shows Cao Cao's trust in Xun Yu. Unfortunately, the king and minister ended up parting on bad terms. The two had a huge disagreement on whether Cao Cao should become the King of Wei. Xun Yu's dissuasion angered Cao Cao, so Cao Cao gave food to Xun Yu. Xun Yu opened the food box and found that it was empty. He realized that "he no longer had the salary of the Han Dynasty to eat", so he committed suicide by taking poison. This skill can be made into a death skill, allowing Xun Yu to take poison and commit suicide when necessary, so that the collective status of the friendly team is improved.

Xun Yu's most famous plot was called "Driving the Tiger to Devour the Wolf". The "tiger" refers to Liu Bei, and the "wolf" refers to Lu Bu. At that time, Liu Bei and Lu Bu were both powerful. If they joined forces to attack Cao Cao, they would definitely become Cao Cao's biggest worry. So Xun Yu gave Cao Cao a "Driving the Tiger to Devour the Wolf" plot, letting Liu Bei and Lu Bu kill each other. When they were both defeated, Cao Cao could win without fighting and reap the benefits.

In addition, there is another rumor about Xun Yu - Xun Ling Liuxiang.

It is said that Xun Yu was not only handsome, but also very upright, noble and respectable. Xun Yu liked fragrance by nature and often used incense to make his clothes smell good. Whenever he visited someone's house, the place where he sat would be filled with fragrance for several days after he left.

Because Xun Yu loved perfume, later generations often used "Xun Lingxiang" or "Lingjunxiang" to describe the demeanor and spirit of a minister. "Xun Ling Liuxiang" has thus become an idiom. This rumor can be made into a card skill, allowing Xun Yu to leave a fragrance in the places he passes by, which has a certain control effect on the enemy cards, which just fits the design of wood-based cards to control the field.

After Xie Mingzhe sorted out the design ideas for the three skills, he immediately drew the character image of Xun Yu.

In his understanding, Xun Lingjun was a gentle and open-minded strategist. Not only was he intelligent, but he was also a famous handsome man in the Three Kingdoms period.

He drew a hat for Xun Yu that symbolizes a Confucian scholar, and let Xun Yu hold a book made of bamboo tube in his hand, which makes him look really elegant and with a warm smile. Such a character image will definitely charm a large number of card collectors who are obsessed with appearance.

Xun Yu (Wood)

Level: Level 1

Evolution Star Level:★

Use times: 1/1 time

Basic Attributes: HP 700, Attack 0, Defense 700, Agility 30, Crit 0%

Additional Skill: Drive Tigers and Devour Wolves (Xun Yu is very smart and good at understanding his opponent's psychology. He believes that tigers and wolves are both our biggest concerns, but if we let the tigers and wolves fight and both lose, we can reap the benefits. Xun Yu activates the "Drive Tigers and Devour Wolves" skill, which can specify any two enemy cards within 23 meters of himself, and let the two cards kill each other in the next 5 seconds. The two cards will automatically lock on to each other when releasing attack skills. Limited skill, can only be released once per game)

Additional Skill: Xun Yu's Fragrance (Xun Yu is a man of high moral integrity. It is said that when he visits someone's house, he leaves a scent behind where he sits. Xun Yu's skill "Xun Yu's Fragrance" can leave a special scent in a designated 23m×23m range. While the scent exists, enemy targets within the range are affected by the scent and experience a random hallucination that lasts for 3 seconds. Cooldown time: 45 seconds)

Additional Skill: Committing Suicide by Taking Poison (Xun Yu received the food box sent by Cao Cao, opened it and found it was empty. He realized that he could no longer be a successor to the emperor, so he committed suicide by taking poison. Xun Yu can take the initiative to commit suicide. When he dies, friendly targets within a range of 23 meters will be infected by Xun Yu's sadness, and their group defense will be increased by 50%)

Previously, the control skills of the cards were mostly based on "silence", but the strongest control of the wood element is actually illusion control. For example, when Tang Muzhou's card "Epiphyllum" blooms in the middle of the field, it will make the enemy target fall into "illusion", and the scene in the player's eyes will completely change. If you can't see the surrounding scene clearly, you naturally can't continue to operate the card.

Hallucination is a hard visual control that lasts for a shorter time, but is more powerful than Silence.

Xun Yu's card has a very strong ability to control the field. Not only can it control the illusion range, but the most critical skill is the first skill "Drive Tigers and Devour Wolves", which specifies two enemy cards to kill each other. This is actually more terrible than chaos control. Because chaos is random, you can't know where the opponent's skills will be placed, but "Drive Tigers and Devour Wolves" can specify cards, especially single cards, so that two super single-attack cards will love and kill each other, which is equivalent to destroying the enemy's strongest combat power.

Since the cooldown time of Xun Yu's illusion control is not long, the opponent cannot ignore this card. If the opponent focuses on Xun Yu first, Xun Yu is not afraid at all. He can also take the initiative to commit suicide to increase defense for his teammates.

As the most important hero in Cao Wei's army, the strength of Xun Yu's card is in line with his status.

He himself has little attack power, and his basic attributes are very low. His health will not exceed 60,000 after reaching the maximum level. However, his strategy of "driving tigers to devour wolves and using the power of others to defeat them" will make opponents extremely wary. Before using skills, they should at least consider whether Xun Yu will use limited skills to kill their cards with powerful skills.

In addition to Xun Yu, there was another person in the Wei State's group of advisers who was related to Xun Yu - Xun You.

The Xun family was a very famous and prominent family during the Three Kingdoms period, and produced many talented people. Xun You was actually older than Xun Yu, but in terms of seniority, he was Xun Yu's nephew.

At that time, Cao Cao was eager to find talented people, so Xun Yu recommended his nephew Xun You to Cao Cao.

Xun You was an orphan since childhood, so he was better at observing people's words and expressions than others. Cao Cao had many talented people under his command, but Xun You would not take the initiative to show off. He seemed to know nothing, but in fact, his mind was as clear as a mirror. What's more rare is that he was good at strategy, but he could keep secrets and didn't talk much. When he offered strategies to Cao Cao, he was very low-key. Even Cao Cao commented that he was "stupid on the outside but wise on the inside, timid on the outside but brave on the inside."

During his lifetime, he presented Cao Cao with twelve brilliant strategies, which were said to be "no strategy left to be calculated", and each one was successful. Only Zhong Yao knew the specific content, but unfortunately Zhong Yao died before he could finish sorting it out, leaving only the legend of Xun You presenting brilliant strategies to later generations.

Among the recorded strategies Xun You offered, the most classic one was "making a feint to the east and attacking the west". During the Battle of Guandu, Bai Ma was surrounded and Cao Cao wanted to rescue it. Xun You advised Cao Cao that it was difficult to fight head-on as the enemy was outnumbered. He could transfer some troops to pretend to cross the river to lure away the main force of Yuan Shao's army, and then send elite troops to attack Bai Ma and kill him by surprise. Cao Cao followed the advice and used the strategy of "making a feint to the east and attacking the west" to successfully transfer most of Yuan Shao's troops and killed two generals, Yan Liang and Wen Chou.

In designing the Xun You card, Xie Mingzhe decided to use his "making a feint to the east and attacking in the west" strategy to confuse the opponent in team battles and catch the opponent off guard. For example, the skills of some cards are originally directed to the left. When the opponent sees that we are attacking the card on the left, he will definitely defend and move to avoid it. As a result, at the moment the skill is released, it suddenly turns around and attacks the card on the right, and the opponent will be unable to defend!

After Xie Mingzhe came up with the design, he immediately created the Xun You card.

Xun You (Wood)

Level: Level 1

Evolution Star Level:★

Use times: 1/1 time

Basic Attributes: HP 700, Attack 0, Defense 700, Agility 30, Crit 0%

Additional Skill: Feint to the East and Attack in the West (Xun You likes to use the strategy of "feint to the East and Attack in the West" to confuse the opponent. When our card uses a straight-line directional skill or a single-target directional skill to attack the enemy target, Xun You can specify another direction. The moment our card skill is released, it will automatically shift to the direction secretly specified by Xun You, catching the opponent off guard; limited skill, once per game)

Additional Skill: No Plan Left Behind (Xun You is very good at making plans, and none of his plans have failed. When Xun You activates the skill "No Plan Left Behind", all our cards gain the bonus of Xun You's wisdom effect. All attacks made in the next 5 seconds will automatically become locked attacks and cannot be avoided by moving; cooldown time is 45 seconds)

Additional Skills: Great Wisdom Appears Foolishness (Passive skill. Xun You is usually very low-key and does not seem to be smart, but in fact he is very clear-headed and is very good at hiding his own strength. When Xun You appears on the field, he automatically enters the "Great Wisdom Appears Foolishness" state, hiding all his basic attributes, making it impossible for the opponent to accurately judge his current true health)

The card Xun You has a limited skill just like Xun Yu. In actual combat, the strategy of making a feint to the east and attacking in the west can be used to disrupt the opponent's defensive formation, and suddenly switch fire to kill the low-health card when the opponent is caught off guard.

Seeing that the Nirvana team was about to kill Card A, the opponent would definitely start to defend. However, as soon as the defensive formation was opened, they found that they had fallen into a trap - Nirvana's target was not Card A at all, but instead turned around and killed Card B in one second!

The mental damage this causes to the players is far greater than the actual card damage.

Xun You's Forgiveness bonus will turn all skills into locked attacks, which cannot be avoided by moving, which is also very annoying. There is also the skill of Pretending to be Foolish to hide health... This skill is actually not very useful. It is purely to confuse the opponent. It is an annoying card in the first place. No matter how you play, the health will look full, which will make the opponent irritable.

Xie Mingzhe smiled and put away Xun Yu and Xun You.

Two control cards with limited skills. The control method is different from that of ordinary control cards. In team battles, Nirvana's tactics will be more varied and more annoying to the opponent.

But this is not the end, because there are three more people in the Wei State's conspirators group, and Xie Mingzhe also plans to make them into cards.

Jia Xu, Guo Jia, Sima Yi.
