When talking about the heroes of Liangshan, the first card to be made is naturally their leader - Song Jiang.
Song Jiang is the third leader of Liangshan. He is known as "Timely Rain" in Jianghu. He is given this title because he is generous and often helps others in times of crisis. Not only is he very generous financially and gives people money lavishly, he also encourages and supports others spiritually, making the people he helps feel that they have met a confidant.
It can be seen that Song Jiang is very good at dealing with people, has high emotional intelligence, and is thoughtful in dealing with things. Therefore, in the Liangshan Mountain where there are many masters, Song Jiang, who is not the best in martial arts and does not have the strongest background, finally became the boss. He is very good at winning people's hearts and is particularly caring for his brothers. The heroes of Liangshan Mountain are all convinced by him and call him brother all the time.
Song Jiang has received mixed reviews. Some people think he is a loyal and principled leader, while others think he is too cowardly, which led to the death of most of the Liangshan heroes. Song Jiang is a contradictory and complex person. He always had the court in his heart and finally accepted the court's amnesty. However, he was persecuted to death by the court he wanted to be loyal to the most. His ending was very tragic.
Xie Mingzhe did not comment on the character, but from the perspective of card design alone, Song Jiang is suitable to be a team support card.
According to the description in the book, Song Jiang has dark skin and is short. Since he is a minor official, he wears the official uniform of the Song Dynasty and looks gentle, friendly and kind. The Song Jiang character card drawn by Xie Mingzhe also fits the setting in the book.

Being Song Jiang, he naturally cannot be without his good brother Li Kui.
Li Kui's nickname is "Iron Bull" and he is known as "Black Whirlwind" in the Jianghu. He is generous, loyal and straightforward, but also prone to conflict, recklessness and belligerence. He escaped after killing someone and ended up in Jiangzhou, where he happened to meet Song Jiang who was also exiled to Jiangzhou. Li Kui loved gambling and lost all his belongings. Song Jiang appreciated his straightforward character and lent him money to gamble, saying "You can ask me for money if you don't have enough money in the future." Li Kui admired the generosity of "Boss Song" very much, and from then on he and Song Jiang became good brothers.
Regarding Li Kui, there are two very exciting stories in Water Margin, and Xie Mingzhe wanted to choose them as material for card making.
First, after he went to Liangshan, he missed his mother very much, so he went home specially to bring his blind old mother to Liangshan to live a good life. As a result, when passing by Yiling, Li Kui put his mother down to give her water to drink. When he came back, he found that his mother had been eaten by a tiger, leaving only clothes and bones. Li Kui looked at his mother's clothes and was furious. In anger, he followed the bloodstains and killed a den of tigers for revenge!
There are two heroes who killed tigers in Water Margin. Wu Song killed a tiger while drunk in Jingyang Hill, while Li Kui killed a den of four tigers in a row after losing his mother and feeling grief-stricken. Wu Song has been made into an instant-death card, which triggers an instant-death judgment against a single beast; Li Kui can be made into a group-attack card that targets a group of beasts, causing extra damage to the judge of those groups of beasts.
The second thing is that Li Kui is very loyal. After learning that Song Jiang is in danger, he ran to the execution ground alone and chopped down several executioners in succession. He is very fierce. This can be made into a cooperative skill. When our card is in danger, let Li Kui go to the execution ground to chopped down the opponent, which can be perfectly matched with Song Jiang's skills.
In future games, once a card is in danger, Song Jiang will step forward to protect it personally, and Li Kui will teleport over to chop down the opponent - with the existence of these two cards, Song Jiang and Li Kui, if the opponent wants to kill our cards, he will lose 800 of his own for every 1,000 he kills.
Li Kui's ending was rather tragic. Song Jiang was forced by court officials to drink poisoned "Jiejiu". Song Jiang's joint skill can also be designed like this - when Song Jiang dies, he will actively pass a cup of poisoned wine to Li Kui, so that Li Kui will die with him. The simultaneous death of the two will trigger a joint action, restoring 50% of the health of friendly targets within a range of 23 meters.
The death linkage of Song Jiang and Li Kui is not as good as the professional deathrattle card because the skill strength of Song Jiang and Li Kui themselves is very high. If the deathrattle skill is too strong, it will be difficult to pass the review, so the linkage of the two can only produce a large group attack + large blood recovery AOE skill.
With the linkage, it will be very difficult for the opponent to kill Song Jiang and Li Kui.
Once Song Jiang is killed, Li Kui will die as well. It is not a good idea to trigger a joint AOE after the two die.
