Chapter 126 The new song encountered a bottleneck
Wei Song and Leng Yi knew Shen Wenqian.
The two greeted him, nodded to Ruan Qi beside them, and then returned their attention to Shen Shi in the recording studio.
Lu Lei smiled apologetically at Ruan Qi and Shen Wenqian.
"Teacher Wei and Teacher Leng are in a bad mood because of the new song. Please don't mind."
Ruan Qi smiled and shook his head.
"Is there any problem with the new song?" Shen Wenqian asked.
"Well, there are some minor problems." Lu Lei rubbed his brows. "There's a tune that the two teachers haven't been satisfied with, and Chen Shi herself doesn't think it's perfect. They've been in the recording studio for several days."
As he was speaking, the prelude to a new song sounded again in the recording studio.
Shen Shi's clear, graceful voice came out.
Ruan Qi sat on a stool holding her bag, her chin propped up, her peach blossom eyes staring at the woman in the recording studio without blinking.
Shen Shi noticed the little girl who was looking at her eagerly.
A smile appeared in her eyes and she waved to Ruan Qi.
Ruan Qi opened her little mouth and revealed a soft smile.
…
A few minutes later, Shen Shi walked out of the recording studio.
"Mr. Shen, Xiao Qi." She greeted him, then turned to ask Wei Song and Leng Yi, "Teachers, how was that session just now?"
"Not ideal." Wei Song frowned and shook his head, "It's still that part. It's too bland and doesn't fit the whole piece."
Leng Yi on the side nodded.
Chen Shi was a little worried. Due to some reasons, the release of the new song had already been delayed for two months. If there was no further progress on that tune, the release would probably have to be pushed back even further.
Seeing that the atmosphere was not good, Lu Lei said, "The air in the recording studio is not good. Let's go to the conference room. We can have something to eat and some coffee. Maybe we can get some inspiration."
No one had any objection.
The conference room was not far from the recording studio, and Ruan Qi was holding Shen Shi's arm, and they were very intimate.
"Xiao Qi, I'm so sorry. Today's schedule was originally scheduled for the MV makeup trial at 1 pm, but now it may have to be postponed." Chen Shi looked apologetic.
Ruan Qi smiled and shook her head: "It's okay. I don't have anything to do anyway, and I can learn a lot from Sister Chen Shi and the two teachers. It's a good deal~!"
The little girl had an expression as if she had gotten a bargain, and Shen Shi was completely captivated by her cuteness.
"How can you be so cute~" She gently pinched Ruan Qi's face and whispered in her ear, "But you're right about one thing. You can really learn a lot from following these two teachers. Listen carefully later. What they say is all based on experience and will be of benefit to you in the future."
…
In the conference room, Lu Lei opened all the windows and his secretary brought in some fruits and drinks.
However, Wei Song and Leng Yi had no appetite for these. As soon as they sat down, they took out the music score of Shen Shi's new song.
"This song is about rebirth, a person's spiritual and mental rebirth. The first half of the song is sad, and the second half needs to be passionate, so as to express rebirth, the transformation from a cocoon to a butterfly. But right now, the second half is not perfect."
Wei Song handed the score to Shen Shi, "This is the change Leng Yi just made. Take a look."
Chen Shi took the music score, and Ruan Qi, who was sitting next to her, turned her head and took a look.
“Teacher Leng’s changes have enhanced the song a lot, but…” Shen Shi shook her head, “I still feel like something’s not quite right.”
"It's too monotonous," Leng Yi said. "My changes can only express the joy of being reborn, but they can't express vitality."
Wei Song nodded, "That's right. Vitality, hope, these most important things, are not in the song."
Everyone was once again at a stalemate.
Ruan Qi looked at this, then looked at that. She touched her nose with her little hand and couldn't help but speak softly.
“Why don’t you try incorporating classical music elements?”
