Chapter 677 The Secret Eddie Didn't Know Twenty Years Ago

"Who do you think you are!" Because he lived in the attic and rarely saw anyone, Hart's voice was hoarse and ethereal, not at all like a human's.

He glared at Eddie with hatred. Even though twenty years had passed and the little kid from back then had grown into an adult, he still recognized him at a glance.

Hart was pinned to the ground, his crimson blue eyes fixed on Eddie, a mocking smile playing on his lips.

"You were just a little kid when I killed people!"

Eddie's expression changed when the matter from back then was brought up.

Hart teased Eddie like a dog, the worse Eddie's face looked, the bigger his smile became.

"Little brat, judging by your expression, Ling Yin probably didn't tell you, did he? I was the one who killed the Portland couple back then, hahahahahaha..."

Ji Zhinan didn't know who Portland was, and subconsciously looked at Eddie. Gu Yibei, standing beside her, blinked his dark eyes and followed his wife's gaze to his brother-in-law, unusually silent and serious.

Eddie's face turned deathly pale, as if all the blood had been drained from him, and he stood frozen in place, as if nailed to the spot.

Portland Warrens, his father's name.

Hart laughed so hard he was almost choking, as if he felt it wasn't provoking Eddie enough, and continued.

"I remember you had a younger sister, right? She was only a few years old back then?"

"Four years old? Three years old?"

He looked at Eddie defiantly, saying each word as if showing off, "I killed that little girl myself. To make sure she wasn't completely dead, I fired several more shots! Hahahahahahahaha..."

Eddie's blue eyes were now bloodshot, and the last shred of reason he had retained completely drove him mad after hearing those words.

"I kill you!!!!!"

He went berserk and kicked Hart twice, hitting him squarely on the shoulder. Luckily, Hart was held down by the bodyguards, otherwise he would have been sent flying.

This was the first time Ji Zhinan had ever seen Eddie so manic, and he was momentarily stunned.

Gu Yibei held her hand tightly, offering her silent comfort. Under Ji Zhinan's terrified and bewildered gaze, Gu Yibei spoke softly.

“My brother had a younger sister who was about four years younger than him, but she died in the civil war twenty years ago.”

The little brother's four-year-old sister...

Twenty years ago, Eddie was only seven years old, which means that his sister was only three years old when she passed away!

Ji Zhinan stared at Hart in shock.

Madman, devil!

Eddie had completely lost his mind, grabbing Hart's neck and strangling him to death.

His father, his mother, his sister, and his once happy home were all destroyed by this man in front of him. He did it all!

Hart was being strangled by fate, unable to breathe, his eyes rolling back in pain. Gu Yibei stopped him just before Edison could strangle him to death.

"Shirakawa, separate them!"

They had finally found Hart, and there were still many questions they hadn't asked. He absolutely couldn't die before that.

"Shelley, you go too!" Ji Zhinan immediately instructed Shelley.

Shelley immediately tried to pull Eddie away, but he threw her violently to the ground. Shirakawa rushed up and hugged Eddie from behind: "Young Master Eddie, calm down!"

Seeing the two bodyguards still holding Hart down, Shirakawa almost vomited blood in anger: "What's the use of you holding down a weakling? Look at him, half-dead, how could he escape if we didn't hold him down? Hurry up and help me pull your young master away!"

The two bodyguards exchanged glances. One continued to restrain Hart, while the other helped Shirakawa pull Eddie away.

Ji Zhinan immediately ordered the bodyguards controlling Hart: "Take him to the living room."
