"No meeting is more important than you."
The man walked over, and the first thing he did was take her small hand in his: "Why are your hands so cold?"
"It was blown by the wind."
"Why didn't you wear more clothes when you went out? Shelley didn't even remind you." After saying that, Gu Yibei glanced at Shelley beside him.
Shelley immediately bowed her head and admitted her mistake: "I'm sorry, son-in-law."
"Don't blame her," Ji Zhinan said, somewhat protective of her own.
He cupped her two little hands, lowered his head, and gently blew on them, his warm breath swirling around her slightly cool hands.
Shirakawa and Shelley looked at each other, then swallowed the dog food with tears in their eyes.
This is so damn cruel to single people!
Fearing being bombarded with PDA, the two hurriedly fled, leaving the newlyweds some alone time.
"Did you go shopping today?" Gu Yibei asked.
Since becoming pregnant, she has become much lazier, and usually likes to lie at home reading and sleeping when she has nothing to do.
Ji Zhinan stretched, and Gu Yibei quickly placed a soft pillow behind her back to make her more comfortable.
I went to the company today.
"You can leave the company's affairs to Uncle Xing."
"I know," Ji Zhinan said, then added, "Husband."
"Hmm?" Gu Yibei's voice softened considerably.
"Shall we treat Lin Que to dinner tonight?"
Gu Yibei raised an eyebrow: "Why did you suddenly decide to invite him to dinner?"
Ji Zhinan beckoned, and Gu Yibei smiled and leaned down, whispering a few words in his ear before looking at the man expectantly: "How was it?"
The man patted her lower abdomen: "So bored you're thinking of becoming a matchmaker?"
"I just wanted to test him." Ji Zhinan hugged his head. "Whether he's sincere or not, we'll know after dinner tonight."
Feeling the little guy kicking his palm, Gu Yibei's eyes softened even more: "I'll call Erque later."
"Um."
The mischievous little guy moved more and more, and Gu Yibei, who had been gentle, frowned and commanded, "Stop moving."
Ji Zhinan chuckled: "What kind of request is that?"
Gu Yibei held her hand and said earnestly, "I'm afraid he'll kick you and hurt you."
Just a few words, yet so tender.
Ji Zhinan deliberately rubbed his face: "You sounded so fierce just now, aren't you afraid the little one is a girl and won't like you after she's born?"
When his daughter was mentioned, Gu Yibei softened again, staring at her belly with eyes that could melt into water: "Baby, kick gently, don't hurt Mommy."
Ji Zhinan couldn't help but burst out laughing.

Upon receiving Gu Yibei's call, Lin Que arrived on time.
Seeing that Gu Ji and his wife had arrived, Lin Que took off his sunglasses and mask, casually pulled up a chair and sat down.
"Qin Yu hasn't arrived yet. Looks like I'm not the last one."
Ji Zhinan raised an eyebrow at him: "Who said Qin Yu was involved?"
"What the heck?"
"We only invited you."
Lin Que's eyes widened, looking at the couple with disbelief: "You two didn't come here specifically to feed me dog food, did you?"
"Wait until I find a big enough bowl to hold the dog food you guys make."
As he spoke, Lin Que stood up and prepared to leave.
"No need," Ji Zhinan called out to him, "I've already prepared it for you."
After saying that, he took out a stainless steel basin the size of a washbasin.
Lin Que "!!!"
"Is it big enough?" Ji Zhinan tilted his head and asked him, "If not, there are plenty of other kitchens available."
"Damn it!" With his escape route blocked, Lin Que sat down cursing.
