Yu Wei's lower back was slightly raised, and a light touch would leave an indentation. Underneath the skin were slender black objects, as soft as seaweed, yet as fine as hair.
However, these things did not break through the skin's limitations; instead, they seemed to grow under the skin as if following the blood vessels.
"I don't know." Yu Wei shook his head and comforted her, "It doesn't hurt or itch, you don't feel anything, don't worry about it."
"Does Uncle Lin know?"
I didn't tell him.
Where is Qin Ge?
"No." Yu Wei shook his head, grabbed a bathrobe from the ground with a vine, covered Zhou Siyu's head, pulled him into his arms, and whispered to comfort him, "It's really nothing, don't worry."

“Come to my place.” Zhou Siyu picked up her coat hanging on the wall and pulled Yu Wei along. “I’ll figure something out for you.”
“No need for that.” Yu Wei sighed. “Don’t worry about me for now. You’ve been drinking tonight, so go wash up and get some rest. I’m going out now.”
"Do I look like I can sleep?" Zhou Siyu kicked Yu Wei angrily, opened the bathroom door and pushed him out. "Fine, fine, I don't care. Do whatever you want. Even if you lie dead in the wilderness, I won't ask you a single question!"
Yu Wei found a training uniform he usually wore in the system, sat on the bed to look at the contract, and fell asleep against the headboard after a short while.
After Zhou Siyu finished showering and drying her hair, she opened the door, leaned against the door frame, and looked at Yu Wei from afar.
His body's healing ability was too strong. Zhou Siyu couldn't find a single trace of injury on him. Perhaps even he himself didn't know what the injury was or where it was.
Zhou Siyu sighed and nudged Yu Wei, "Don't sleep like that, or you'll get a headache."
"Hmm? You're done washing?" Yu Wei opened her eyes and looked around. "Where's the hairdryer?"
"Do you think I'd give you that chance to fawn over me?" Zhou Siyu glared at him, pulling back the covers. "You're lying outside the covers; the bed's still cold. How are you supposed to sleep?"
"Hmm..." Yu Wei pulled back the covers and rolled in, patting the other side. "It'll warm up after a while."
After saying that, he fell into a deep sleep again.
"I'm really impressed by you."
Zhou Siyu was both angry and heartbroken. She turned off the light, gently lifted the blanket, and lay down next to Yu Wei.
Yu Wei subconsciously opened his eyes and quickly sat up. Zhou Siyu asked helplessly, "What is it now?"
"N-nothing..."
Yu Wei shook his head, lay back on the bed, turned over, and hugged Zhou Siyu in his arms.
“Lying on your side like that will put pressure on your heart, and you’ll have nightmares tonight.” Zhou Siyu sat up and commanded, “Lie flat on your back.”
Yu Wei obediently did as he was told. Zhou Siyu patted his hair with satisfaction, lay down in the quilt, pulled his hand to his waist, and wrapped her arms around his waist.
"Yu Wei, you don't believe me."
He didn't use a question, but a statement. Yu Wei was taken aback. "No, I was afraid you'd worry."
“If you’re worried about me, you should tell me. I’ll share the burden with you, instead of hiding it from me, understand?” Zhou Siyu leaned against Yu Wei. “I remember telling you before that you shouldn’t hide any injuries you get from me. I can handle it, and I can help you.”
"It was my fault this time, there won't be a next time." Yu Wei lowered his head and kissed the top of Zhou Siyu's head, then yawned: "Go to sleep, I'm tired."
Hearing the even breathing sounds around him, Zhou Siyu opened his eyes and stared at the wall.
He had been sleeping for more than half a year and was already tired of it. He couldn't fall asleep at all, and he couldn't do anything else to disturb Yu Wei's rest, so he could only keep his eyes open and endure it.
Yu Wei is a light sleeper; he will open his eyes immediately at the slightest sign of trouble, let alone when Zhou Siyu gently lifts his hand and tiptoes away.
Where are you going?
A sudden sound came from behind, startling Zhou Siyu so much that she almost fell face-first to the ground.
"bathroom."
"Hmm." Yu Wei paused, closed his eyes, and said, "If you feel uncomfortable, you can go back to your room."
"Why are you so sensitive?" Zhou Siyu chuckled twice and explained, "I just wanted to go to the bathroom. I drank too much tonight."
Tomorrow is the last day. Regardless of whether the cooperation succeeds or not, Yu Wei will return to headquarters to discuss countermeasures, and then return to the Ninth Planet base. He may also go to the front line. In short, he will not stay here for too long.
Zhou Siyu sighed, stayed in the bathroom for a while, and guessed that Yu Wei should be asleep, so she decided to leave quietly.

"Then I'm leaving. You get some rest."

Before he could react, Yu Wei had already jumped out of bed, putting the folded uniform into the system while making a call: "I'll send reinforcements immediately, at most one day."
"Yes, the message has been sent out, and the reinforcements should arrive by noon tomorrow at the latest."
"Team C7 is nearby. They'll go to provide support first. Can they hold the line?"
After finishing the call, Yu Wei had already reached the door when he suddenly remembered something. He turned to Zhou Siyu and said, "The situation is urgent, and I have to leave now. Wu Ming and the others will stay and continue to follow up. If he can't make a decision, I will have him contact headquarters directly."
