A fair and smooth back appeared openly before his eyes. Yu Wen turned his face away, wondering when Zhou Siyu had developed this hobby of changing clothes in front of others.
The rustling of clothes suddenly stopped, and Yu Wen was startled. He turned around but found no one there. Just as he was about to withdraw his gun, a cold dagger was pressed against his neck.
"Don't the rebel organizations teach you how to use a gun?" Zhou Siyu snatched the gun from Yu Wen's hand, released Yu Wen, and sat shirtless on the bed, playing with the gun in his hand. "The safety wasn't even on."
"Kill me or torture me, it's all up to you."
Yu Wen closed his eyes, realizing that Zhou Siyu had actually awakened a time-space ability; he had been careless.
"Why don't you tell me first what your purpose is in coming here?"
There are many capable negotiators within the rebel army, so why did they choose Yu Wen, who is not good at negotiating? Doesn't the rebel leader know that this will waste a lot of time?
"Let's talk about cooperation."
"Tell the truth." Zhou Siyu raised his gun and pointed it at Yu Wen. "We used to be friends and partners. I'm giving you a chance to explain yourself. Tell me, why did you leave, and why did you come back?"
"It's just obeying orders. If you were Yu Wei's subordinate, and he told you to leave or stay, would you dare to disobey? Would you disobey?"
"I will not become anyone's subordinate." Zhou Siyu raised the muzzle of his gun, staring at Yu Wen: "What about you?"
“Me? I had no choice.” Yu Wen closed his eyes, sighed deeply, then opened his eyes and looked at Zhou Siyu, saying, “I envy you. I envy that you have so many choices, and I envy that you can live the life you want.”
He is different from Zhou Siyu; he is a puppet, a doll manipulated by others, and can never have his own choices.
“You also have a choice.” Zhou Siyu put away his gun, leaned back slightly, and placed his hands on his sides. His gaze moved from the ceiling to the chandelier, and finally settled on Yu Wen: “Cooperating with me is another option for you.”
Yu Wen's eyes were full of doubt; he didn't understand Zhou Siyu's meaning.
"Your life is in your own hands. If you choose to go with Qin Ge, you will spend the rest of your life in a dark prison cell. If you choose to go back empty-handed, your boss will not let you off the hook, and you may still spend the rest of your life in a prison cell."
Zhou Siyu thought for a moment and added, "Of course, it's also possible that they won't even have the rest of their lives."
What's in it for me?
"First, I can help you get rid of the rebel organization. Second, I can help you get rid of the Alliance's wanted list, so you can live a clean life and go out with dignity."
What guarantees do you have that you can do it?
"Trust is the foundation of cooperation. If you don't trust me, who else can you trust? Think it over carefully; your time is running out."
Zhou Siyu pointed to the surveillance footage on the screen. Qin Ge had finished writing the IOU and was communicating with someone by the window, occasionally glancing back at the room.
"I promise you." Yu Wen took a deep breath, as if making a firm decision. "What do you need me to do?"
"Shh!" Zhou Siyu put her index finger to her lips, squinted her eyes and smiled slightly: "You'll find out soon enough."
While on the communicator, Qin Ge glanced around the room and out of the corner of his eye saw Zhou Siyu and Yu Wen walk out one after the other. He said to the person on the other end of the communicator, "They're out."
"Qin Ge, I need your help." Zhou Siyu beckoned to Qin Ge and pointed to Yu Wen's bleeding arm: "He's injured, could you bandage him up?"
"What happened? Huh? How many times have I told you to be careful, to be careful, why did you still..."
Halfway through his sentence, Qin Ge realized something, quickly shut up, took the first-aid kit from Zhou Siyu, disinfected it, then took out the tools from the storage system and began to suture the wound.
The cold needle pierced his skin, and Yu Wen couldn't help but hiss, his arm trembling slightly.
"Bear with it!"
Qin Ge's face darkened, but his movements became much gentler. He quickly stitched up the wound and then took out bandages and medicine packs to bandage it.
"Impressive, no wonder you're a professional."
Standing behind Qin Ge, Zhou Siyu gave a thumbs up and, taking advantage of Qin Ge's inattention, took out a prepared handkerchief and covered Qin Ge's mouth and nose from behind.
"Mmm..."
Qin Ge quickly stopped struggling. Zhou Siyu released his grip, breathed a sigh of relief, put Qin Ge on the ground, and found a rope to tie him up.
"Will he be alright?"
The worry in Yu Wen's eyes flashed quickly, and Zhou Siyu patted Qin Ge's face, "It's okay, the dosage of this medicine is enough for him to sleep for two or three days. Besides, Yu Wei isn't stupid, he will definitely send someone to look for him."
As Zhou Siyu spoke, she sent a bunch of messages to Yu Zhen and Li Jing, asking them to contact Yu Mao privately and send technicians over to help. She also instructed them to manage the company well before she returned and to prevent any problems from arising.
Afterwards, he asked Li Jing to prepare a batch of supplies for him separately and to secretly send them to the tenth planet as quickly as possible, without letting anyone, especially Yu Zhen, know about them.
After arranging everything, Zhou Siyu began packing her bags, while Yu Wen sat on the sofa, looking down at Qin Ge.
"Stop looking, you're practically poking holes in his face."
Zhou Siyu, who had finished packing his bags, couldn't stand it any longer and interrupted him: "At least show some respect for the status of a wanted criminal, okay? Let's talk about it after everything has settled down. Then you two can talk all night long without anyone bothering you."
Yu Wen blushed, but quickly regained his composure and looked at Zhou Siyu: "Once you're ready, let's set off."
"I'm all packed." Zhou Siyu patted her backpack, checked the time, and raised an eyebrow. "How about we have afternoon tea before you go?"
