Chapter 27 Lodging

Back at the repair shop, Zhang Qing and Yang Lie were still asleep. Yu Wei put Zhou Siyu on a stool and planned to take him home.

When I got to the parking area next to the repair shop, I found that the motorcycle's rear wheel was inexplicably gone, and the oil had been drained.

"Damn it! Which brat dared to touch my motorcycle! Don't let me catch you..."

Hearing Yu Wei's roar, Zhou Siyu touched the tip of his nose. He swore it had nothing to do with him... Yeah, right!

He hired people to unload the motorcycle; after all, those people were just sitting around doing nothing, so taking apart a motorcycle to stretch their muscles was a good idea.

However, they probably didn't dare to use excessive force because of their fear of General Yu; otherwise, being caught would not be a matter of carrying a load for five kilometers.

"Something's come up wrong. Why don't you contact your friend to come pick you up?"

Yu Wei composed himself and mentally cursed the person who dismantled the car several times.

"He just contacted me and said he had to go out."

Zhou Siyu repeatedly rejected Yu Zhendu's communication requests while explaining without changing her expression.

"So how did you get through the morning?"

The hot spring hotel is quite far from here; it takes at least two hours to walk there.

"I hitched a ride with Zheng Li halfway here."

I'm definitely not going to hitch a ride, but as a VVVV...VIP member of the hotel, it shouldn't be a problem to ask them to give me a ride, right?

Now it was Yu Wei's turn to be in a dilemma. The repair shop could only sleep two people at most, and it was getting late. It would be dangerous for Zhou Siyu to walk back, and his foot was still hurting. There were no hotels or anything like that nearby. Although there were hostels, he had heard that they were not very reputable, so he decided against it.

"How about... you stay at my place for the night?" Seeing Zhou Siyu staring at him, Yu Wei quickly explained, "My place is close to here, and I can also help you keep an eye on things..."

"Okay." Zhou Siyu smiled sweetly, raising the corners of her lips. "Thank you."

"No...you're welcome." Yu Wei's face flushed red again, and she squatted down with her back to Zhou Siyu: "I'll carry you over."

"Thanks."

Zhou Siyu obediently lay on Yu Wei's back, listening to his steady and powerful heartbeat, and her nose suddenly felt a little sore.

It seems like the first time he went to the family compound, Yu Wei carried him home. Six years have passed in the blink of an eye. Time really flies.

As she pondered, Zhou Siyu unconsciously asked a question she had asked before, "Have you... ever carried someone on your back before?"

“I carried her on my back.” Yu Wei counted carefully. “When Aunt Wang was sick, I carried her onto the bus. When Uncle Li’s son next door broke his leg, I carried him to the hospital.”

"And Aunt Zhang's daughter..."

Yu Wei rattled off a long string of words, finally adding, "Last year, Old Man Li's piglet ran away and fell into a ditch halfway there and died. I carried it back."

"You...you even carry pigs on your back!"

Zhou Siyu felt that he was implying something about her, but she had no evidence.

"Yes, after bringing it back, we made roast pig, and it was quite delicious."

Yu Wei didn't think there was anything wrong with it. The piglets weren't heavy, and he just carried them back on his back with a rope.

"Tsk, the pig is so cute, how could you not wait for me to eat together?" Zhou Siyu licked her lips. "We don't think we've had dinner yet."

"I think I'm a little hungry."

Yu Wei thought for a moment, then changed direction and turned into a small restaurant by the roadside.

The restaurant was quite crowded, and the two waited in line for a while before finally getting a seat. They each ordered a bowl of noodles and began to eat with relish, while Zhou Siyu listened quietly to the conversation at the next table.

"That little brat really doesn't know what's good for him."

A man with tattooed arms and a bare chest suddenly slammed his hand on the table, startling everyone around him. But no one dared to look up at him; they all kept their heads down and ate in silence.

Zhou Siyu frowned unhappily, but kept her head down and ate.

"Brother, brother, calm down, calm down." The person next to him quickly handed him a drink and advised, "He's just a little brat from the First Star Region, it's not worth getting angry over, brother."

"Damn it! I booked the whole restaurant, bought lobster, abalone, and bird's nest, and even reserved the Emperor Hotel. Then they turned around and went to a hot spring hotel. They don't even respect me!"

The man dismissively slapped his underling's hand away and continued to vent his frustration.

"Hey, big brother, he's just a spoiled rich kid, how can he compare to you?"

The people around him kept trying to persuade him, but Zhou Siyu stuck out his tongue and thought, "Why does this person sound so familiar?"

"He's really pushing his luck! If it weren't for that money, I would have torn him to pieces long ago... What the hell are you looking at!"

The man turned his head, stared fiercely at Zhou Siyu, and then said lewdly, "Oh, you're quite good-looking. Come over here, brother..."

Zhou Siyu ignored him, rolled her eyes, and lowered her head to continue eating her noodles.

"It's your good fortune that Brother Tai has taken a liking to you. Don't be so ungrateful, and know your place."

The lackey immediately stepped forward, slammed his hand on the table, and Yu Wei raised his head unhappily, pulling out a tissue to slowly wipe his mouth.

"What...what are you looking at!" The lackey was terrified by Yu Wei's icy gaze, his calves trembling as he mustered his courage to speak: "Tai...Brother Tai has taken a fancy to your girl..."

"roll."

Yu Wei calmly interrupted him, casually tossing the paper ball through the air in a graceful arc before it landed steadily in Tai Ge's bowl.

"Oops, sorry, my hand slipped."

"Pfft..."

Zhou Siyu couldn't help but laugh out loud. Yu Wei's nonchalant yet roguish and handsome appearance was quite pleasing to the eye.

"Who the hell do you think you are, daring to stand in front of Brother Tai... ah!"

A pig-like scream rang out, and Zhou Siyu rubbed his ears. It was so noisy.
