"Okay, Dad, take care."
Yu Wei waved with a smile, and as soon as the two left, he jumped off the bed, ready to slip away. He opened the door, casually whistling with his hands behind his back, but after a few steps, he realized that several people were following him closely.
After wandering around the hospital for a while, with the people behind him getting closer and closer, Yu Wei's eyes lit up, and he slipped into the bathroom.
"Damn! Is it really that serious?"
Looking at the two people who were inseparable from each other, Yu Wei was extremely frustrated. He had to go to the bathroom with someone following him. Couldn't he have any privacy?
Those who know the situation might think he's visiting a patient, but those who don't might mistake him for a prison guard!
What's even more outrageous is that, in addition to the two persistent pests, there are people patrolling the corridors and around the wards, and even guarding downstairs, as if they would punish him on the spot if he dared to step out of the hospital.
Yu Wei knew this was Yu Zhen's order, so he didn't make things difficult for them. Every day, besides eating, taking walks, and getting checkups, he stayed in the ward reading books, and occasionally Yu Zhen would bring his children to visit.
"Qin Ge, Brother Qin Ge, when can I be discharged from the hospital?" Yu Wei hugged Qin Ge tightly as he made his rounds, "I'm getting moldy from staying in the ward every day."
"If it's moldy, go outside and air it out." Qin Ge swatted away Yu Wei's hand in disgust. "And don't call me that. 'Brother' is a term of endearment for Wenwen."
"Aww~" Yu Wei wailed, covering his mouth and on the verge of tears: "All these years of affection have been wasted in the end."
"Get lost!" Qin Ge rolled his eyes. "Playing the victim won't work."
Yu Wei is probably going crazy from being cooped up; he hasn't had a single day of normal mental state.
When can I be discharged from the hospital?
"It doesn't look like it will be any year from now." Qin Ge grinned and patted Yu Wei on the shoulder: "Just stay put and don't think about anything else."
"A year?"
Yu Wei lay back down on the bed, feeling depressed. He pulled the blanket over his face. "It's been so long, I might as well just die."
"Pull the blanket back a bit, don't suffocate."
Qin Ge sighed, closed the door, and instructed the guards to keep a close watch on the person.
Yu Wei is a restless person. Making him idle all day is more unbearable than killing him, but Qin Ge has no choice. Given Yu Wei's condition, releasing him would be a threat to others.
