Just as Yu Wei was about to get up, the boss grabbed him, covered his mouth tightly, and pressed him back to the ground.
"Are you out of your mind?"
"I can't just stand by and watch them kill people!"
Yu Wei lowered his voice, keeping a close eye on the movements in the corner.
"What can you change by rushing out?" The boss was unusually calm, his eyes indifferent, as if nothing concerned him: "Human nature cannot withstand the test; they have gone mad."
"If you rush out, will you bring them survival supplies or ammunition for self-defense?"
"But that was a life! That was a living, breathing person!"
Yu Wei was out of breath and spoke loudly, which aggravated her wound. Her violent coughing distracted the man.
Countless pairs of eyes, sharp as blades, were fixed on Yu Wei, as if trying to pierce him through.
The man strode over to Yu Wei with an air of utter disregard for family, lifting his chin with his knife and grinning crookedly, "Oh, brother, injured?"
"Take your dirty hands off."
Yu Wei turned his face away, coughed a few times, and his dark eyes showed undisguised disgust.
"Oh, quite stubborn." The man patted Yu Wei's face with his knife, making no attempt to hide the lewdness in his eyes. He turned to the crowd and laughed, "That delicate little face, it's probably not injured, hahaha... How about considering spending the night with your brother..."
The crowd burst into laughter, echoing the man's reaction.
"I told you, get your filthy hands off me... cough cough..." Yu Wei raised his eyes and slapped the man hard across the face. The man spun around a few times, then stumbled and fell to the ground.
"You scum, a parasite on society, I'm slapping you to teach you a lesson. You can't mess with just anyone."
Before the man could even stand up straight, Yu Wei kicked him several times, rendering him completely unable to resist. He lay on the ground, barely clinging to life.
"Damn it! You dare touch my people! You're asking for it!"
With a wave of his hand, the scarred man's henchmen immediately drew their knives and surrounded Yu Wei.
"Whether you live or die is not up to you."
Yu Wei spat out a mouthful of blood, licked the bloodstains from the corner of his lips, moved his head, and looked coldly like the Grim Reaper pronouncing death.
"Come at me all at once. I won't even need to use one hand to deal with you bunch of scum."
"Such arrogance!" The scarred man was determined to deflate the young man's arrogance. He waved his hand and shouted, "Go! Kill him!"
The thugs swarmed forward, but Yu Wei dodged their attacks and kicked one of them to the ground.
Even a pro player playing against a bronze-level player would be embarrassed to admit it.
"oops……"
"Ouch!"
The thug lay on the ground groaning in pain, while the scarred man, clutching his kicked face, angrily shouted at the crowd, "What are you standing there for? Attack him! Every day he lives, your chances of survival decrease!"
Those who had been successfully brainwashed realized what was happening. Some picked up bricks from the ground, some brandished fruit knives, some loosened their ties, and some even took off their shoes to use as weapons, attacking Yu Wei like madmen.
When facing thugs, Yu Wei can teach them a lesson at will, but when facing ordinary people, he doesn't dare to go too far and inevitably hesitates.
As the saying goes, even the smallest ant can kill an elephant. With everyone throwing punches and kicks at him, Yu Wei was overwhelmed and inevitably took a couple of kicks and punches.

As the saying goes, to catch a thief, you must first catch the king. Yu Wei quickly grabbed the tallest and strongest man in the crowd, pulled him by the collar, and slapped him across the face one after another.
The man was stunned by the blow, his mind reeling. When Yu Wei let go, he fell heavily to the ground like a sandbag.
"Want to keep fighting?" Yu Wei spat a mouthful of blood onto the man's face and gave him the middle finger. "Trash."
The people who rushed forward were stunned in place, their incredulous eyes shifting between Yu Wei and the big guy on the ground.
"What are you afraid of? Go for it! It's not illegal to kill him during this special period!"
"Go! Go! Go! Kill him!"
Seeing that another swarm was about to rush up from the opposite side, Yu Wei frowned, but when he touched the contents of the bag, his face instantly lit up with joy.
"Wait a minute." Yu Wei raised his hand, palm facing outward, to make a stop gesture. With his other hand, he took out a green-covered ID card from his pocket. The gold badge shone even brighter against the green screen.
"Let me introduce myself. My name is Yu Wei. I am a general from the First Military Region of the Alliance Military Command Headquarters. I am hiding my identity due to a special mission. Due to an emergency, I need your cooperation." Yu Wei opened his identification and handed it to the person closest to him. "If you don't believe me, you can look at the identification. The photo has the military seal on it. It is absolutely impossible to forge."
"Make way, make way... let me see..."
The scarred man pushed through the crowd, snatched the ID photo, carefully compared the photo with the man himself, and handed it to his henchman. "Looks like him?"
"look like……"
"Could it really be true..."
The scarred man muttered something as he handed the ID back to Yu Wei.
“If you have no questions, sit down and listen to me.” Yu Wei put away his documents and stood with his hands behind his back. “We have a common enemy. This enemy is not the orcs, nor the superhumans, but all those who are plotting to destroy the hard-won peace.”
"Your friends, classmates, even relatives, might be orcs. Think about it carefully, have they ever harmed you? No, right?"
“They, like you, love peace and yearn for a happy life. Their lives, health, and safety are equally protected by law.” Yu Wei paused, then slowly began, “The Alliance’s laws and military equally protect all those who love peace and uphold justice, whether they are orcs or ordinary people.”
