"But I have to say something to you about this. You're already married, so why are you bringing people home? What do you think Yu Zhen will think? What will other people think of him?"
"You don't take him to important occasions, fine, but can't he even go to gatherings with friends? Or is he just that unpresentable?"
“It’s not that I don’t want to take him, but he’s not in good health and can’t drink or stay up late.” Lin Gu sighed. “I have a lot of social engagements, sometimes until one or two in the morning, and drinking is unavoidable. Rather than having him stay up late with me, it’s better for him to rest at home early.”
"I dare not take him to gatherings with friends anymore."

Yu Wei was already jealous enough just talking to people at the party; if he were to be taken advantage of by a group of people, he'd probably go crazy.
"Can't you just tell him directly?" Zhou Siyu forced herself to shift to a more comfortable position despite the discomfort. "I hate people like you who don't have mouths."
It would have been better to just talk things out, but instead, they kept it to themselves, waiting for others to guess.
Others aren't mind readers, how could they know what you're thinking?
"He has a strong sense of pride, and he will definitely be unhappy if I say it."
"Silly! You can't read his mind, how would you know if he's happy or not?"
The self-righteous "thinking of you" is not for the other person's good, but just self-pity.
"Perhaps you're right." Lin Gu shrugged, having to admit that Zhou Siyu was very perceptive in judging people and situations. "By the way, weren't you with Zhenzhen? How come you're here with Yu Wei?"

"What debt? I don't owe you anything."
Lin Gu scratched his head, confused. He and Zhou Siyu didn't seem to have any grudges... right?
"I haven't settled the score with you for selling Yu Wei into the underground market yet." Zhou Siyu said stubbornly. Lin Gu shrank back and swallowed, but then heard Zhou Siyu continue, "You didn't even plan to share the money with me after selling him for so much."
"ha?"
Lin Gu was stunned. He had thought Zhou Siyu was pursuing personal rights, but he hadn't expected it to be about property rights.
"Next time you want to sell him, can you let me know in advance?" Zhou Siyu joked, "We'll split the profits fifty-fifty."
"Huh? Wait, how do you know him..." Lin Gu suddenly realized, looked around in disbelief, and lowered his voice to say, "You're breaking the law."
"The law only stipulates that buying and selling glands and live animals is illegal. What does it have to do with me buying jewelry?" Zhou Siyu crossed her arms and snorted. "I am a legitimate businessman. I do all legitimate business. Don't slander me."
"Hahaha...you...hahaha..."
Lin Gu couldn't help but laugh. Zhou Siyu was a serious person, and this was the biggest joke he had heard this century.
"What are you laughing at!"
Zhou Siyu rolled her eyes and shrugged helplessly. It's really hard to be a good person these days, and you even get laughed at.
"You were the one with Yu Wei that day, weren't you?"
Lin Gu wiped away the tears of laughter. Although he had reached a conclusion in his heart, he was even more curious about what Yu Wei had been doing during those three days of disappearance.
"Yes, we weren't just together that one day; we were together for the next few days without being apart. Are you satisfied?"
Zhou Siyu raised an eyebrow, straightened her clothes, leaned against the rock, and yawned.
The energy of an S-class Alpha is simply too abundant. He held onto him for three days and two nights without letting go, and his bones were almost broken apart.
If Qin Ge hadn't contacted him and told him that Lin Nianyu had been kidnapped, he probably would have stayed for a few more days.
He's barely eaten anything these past few days, and he's starving. Yet he still has to sit here chatting with Lin Gu and trying to comfort the lovelorn young man. What kind of karma has he created?
Lin Gu was surprised by his frankness and felt a little embarrassed. Seeing that it was getting late, he reached out to pull Zhou Siyu.
"I'm too weak. Go get me something to eat."
Zhou Siyu waved his hand, yawned, and leaned against the rock to watch the sunset.
Lin Gu stopped bothering him, had someone bring him food, and then returned to his tent to begin deploying his troops.
He didn't intend to put all his eggs in one basket, so he took a shortcut with a portion of his men, planning to use their numerical advantage to launch a strong attack.
The other group followed Yu Wei's planned route. Although they arrived half a day later, this would prevent them from being surrounded.
He didn't know how many people or how many weapons the other side had, so he could only proceed with caution.
The stars were bright and twinkling at night, but not as bright as when the two of them sat together on the rooftop.
Perhaps what's beautiful isn't the starlight itself, but how the stars appear to those around us.
Zhou Siyu hugged his legs and buried his face in his knees. Suddenly, he missed Yu Wei.
He felt he had contracted a disease, a disease that made him want to stay by Yu Wei's side and lean on his chest.
"It's late, aren't you going to rest?" Lin Gu yawned and stretched. "The tent and sleeping bag are all ready. We're leaving tomorrow morning, so get some rest."
Having been entrusted with a task, one must at least bring Zhou Siyu properly before Yu Wei.
"Okay, you go and rest first, I'll go enjoy the breeze for a while longer."
Zhou Siyu spoke in a muffled voice. Lin Gu was a little confused and squatted down in front of Zhou Siyu.

Zhou Siyu raised her head, her eyes red, like a little rabbit.
