Chapter 41 I Believe You

"Zhou Siyu".

A woman's voice came from behind. Zhou Siyu turned around, frowned, and asked, "Miss Zhang, is there something you need?"

"I have something to tell you."

Zhou Siyu raised an eyebrow and followed Zhang Jin to a corner behind a thick pillar. It was a secluded spot where no one would notice.

Yu Wei was chatting with Wen Dai when a huge commotion came from the other side of the hall. The two rushed over upon hearing the noise.

Zhang Jin was seen leaning against a pillar, sobbing. Her long hair was disheveled, and her white dress was torn to shreds, barely covering her vital parts.

Zhou Siyu, standing to the side, was disheveled, kneeling on the ground with a hairpin stuck in her chest, from which blood was seeping.

"Siyu, how are you?" Yu Wei rushed forward and hugged Zhou Siyu, shouting to the crowd, "What are you standing there for? Call an ambulance!"

"The doctor is here."

Someone in the crowd shouted, and the onlookers quickly made way for a doctor in a white coat carrying a medical kit.

It turned out that Zheng Ming was worried that some of the older guests might have emergencies, so he called several doctors to stay at the hotel.

"The wound was deep, but fortunately it didn't damage the heart."

The doctor slowly pulled out the hairpin. Zhou Siyu turned pale with pain and clung tightly to Yu Wei's clothes.

"Are you even capable? If not, let me do it!"

Yu Wei desperately wanted to push the doctor away and go himself, but Zhou Siyu held him tightly.

The doctor was startled and immediately pulled out the hairpin. Blood gushed out like a flood. Yu Wei snatched the hairpin, cut his palm, and placed his hand on the wound, gently comforting Zhou Siyu, "Don't be afraid, it will stop hurting soon."

"Yu...Wei, it hurts..."

Zhou Siyu squeezed out a few tears, a hint of smugness flashing in her eyes as she looked at Zhang Jin.

"Don't worry, I'm here. The pain will subside soon."

Yu Wei's blood mixed with Zhou Siyu's blood and flowed down, but it gradually stopped after a few minutes. Zhou Siyu's wound was slowly scabbing over, and the wound on Yu Wei's hand was also healing rapidly. The onlookers were dumbfounded.

What a medical miracle! This is truly a once-in-a-century medical miracle!

"I'm sorry, Siyu, I didn't mean to hurt you."

Zhang Jin suddenly burst into tears, and everyone started asking her what had happened.

"Siyu said she had something to tell me, so she took me behind a pillar, and then..."

"So what?"

"Say it!"

The onlookers were getting impatient; such a shocking juicy story was right in front of them, but they couldn't get a piece of it—it was incredibly frustrating!

“I can’t say,” Zhang Jin shook her head. “It would ruin Si Yu.”

“Auntie, you tell us, and we’ll make the decision for you.”

Zheng Li squatted down next to Zhang Jin and comforted her.

"He...he suddenly hugged me, pressed me against the pillar, and...and..."

Zhang Jin lowered her head and sobbed softly.

"Just finish what you were saying!"

"Yeah! What exactly did he do?"

The onlookers wished they could turn back time and be there in person; it was so frustrating!

"You...you took off my clothes..."

“I…I couldn’t push him away, so I used a hairpin…”

As Zhang Jin spoke, she looked up at Yu Wei with teary eyes, "Brother Yu Wei, I really didn't mean it, Zhou Siyu bullied me first..."

"Enough!" Yu Wei's face turned as black as ink as he shouted, "Shut up!"

“Yu Wei, she’s lying, please don’t believe her, okay?” Zhou Siyu lowered her eyes, bit her lip, and gently tugged at Yu Wei’s clothes. “She framed me…”

I believe you.

Yu Wei gently patted Zhou Siyu's back, leaned down and kissed his hair, "I believe you, you sleep for a while, then we'll go back."

Zhou Siyu nodded and quietly leaned against Yu Wei's chest. Yu Wei picked up Zhou Siyu, intending to leave, but was stopped by Zheng Li.

"You can't leave, things haven't been explained yet."

"Isn't it clear enough?" Yu Wei looked at Zhang Jin on the ground, a hint of disgust flashing in his eyes. "She maliciously framed someone and even injured them."

“Brother Yuwei, I know you like Zhou Siyu, but he really did bully me first,” Zhang Jin said weakly. “How could I, a girl, risk my innocence to frame someone? Besides, Siyu and I have no grudge against each other…”

Hearing these words, many of the onlookers were moved and began to whisper among themselves.

Zhang Jin glanced triumphantly at Zhou Siyu, then immediately squeezed out tears, looking at the two of them with teary eyes.

Having witnessed everything, Zhou Siyu snorted coldly in her heart, leaning weakly against Yu Wei's chest. Interesting, you want to play, huh? He'll go with you!
