The doctor had applied medicine on Yao Xin's red and swollen cheeks, and the assistant had helped her tie her hair again. Yao Xin looked much calmer than before.
After Director Lin came in, the assistant moved a chair for him to sit on, but no one cared about Wen Mianyu.
Wen Mianyu didn't care. She stood beside Director Lin and pinched her fingertips nonchalantly.
"I won't let this matter today go." Yao Xin spoke while sitting on the sofa.
Director Lin cleared his throat and said, "Yao Xin, since you said so, let me also say something fair."
"Both you and Jasmine were wrong in what happened today."
"You hit her before and said it was an accident. Then she hit you again and also said it was an accident."
"Whether you two missed or not, you both know it perfectly well. There's no point in arguing about it now. Since you both hit each other, no one is wronged, and no one is innocent. It's best to let this matter go..."
"Why are you letting it go?" Yao Xin couldn't stand it any longer and slammed her hand on the armrest of the sofa. "I really did miss, Su Moli hit me out of revenge! My face is much more seriously injured than hers. She wants to let it go? Dream on!"

Wen Mianyu still gave Director Lin face and pursed her lips without saying anything, but that didn't stop her from making a provocative face at Yao Xin.

Although Wen Mianyu said not to take sides, Director Lin looked down on Yao Xin's behavior of using filming as an excuse to settle personal grudges. He had no reason to let Yao Xin bully the heroine he admired.
"I'm not giving up? Director Lin, are you really going to help her?" Yao Xin laughed in anger. "Okay, if that's the case, I don't have to endure this injustice on the set anymore. I'm not acting in this drama anymore!"
"Since Miss Yao doesn't want to act, she doesn't have to. There are many outstanding new actors who are more suitable than Miss Yao." A male voice suddenly interrupted from outside the door.
Wen Mianyu's expression froze, and when she turned around, she saw Lu Congxu walking in from the door.
It was obvious that he must have come in a hurry. He didn't even change his costume. He was wearing a retro suit, a shirt and a vest, which made his waist and legs look slim and long. He wore a pair of gold-rimmed glasses on his nose, which neutralized his cold eyebrows and eyes. He had a kind of bookish gentleness, but also a kind of dark feeling of a gentleman.
This guy looks great in glasses!
Wen Mianyu looked at it again and again with admiration.
Lu Congxu noticed her gaze and curled the corners of his lips towards her.
"Actor Lu has also come to join in the fun. I just found out that the crew's surname is Su." Yao Xin said sarcastically.
