"Brother, are you curious about what my abilities are?" Tang Anan looked up at him with a smile on her lips.
Chi Yanhuai looked down at her and asked her, "Do you want to say it?"
"If I didn't want to talk about it, I wouldn't have mentioned it to my brother." Tang Anan loosened her grip on his hand, her palm facing upwards. The golden threads of illusory light and shadow danced on her palm, which was very beautiful.
"It guides me to do what I should do. This is my special ability."
Chi Yanhuai stared at the dancing golden thread for a long moment, then opened his thin lips and asked, "Is it really just a guide?"
"Maybe it has other abilities I haven't discovered yet." Tang Anan said casually, looking at him with hope and desire in his eyes, "It wants me to save someone now. Can you help me, brother?"
"Who does An An want to save? And where is that person?" Chi Yanhuai's eyes were soft, as if he was discussing this matter with her seriously.
"In a convenience store, I could sense it." Tang Anan told him her perception truthfully.
"An An, is there anyone else you want to save?" There was a gloomy look under his gentle eyes, and his true thoughts could not be seen.
"Don't worry, brother. We're only saving her." Tang Anan was keenly aware of his emotions and knew how cautious he was about his situation.
After all, in the apocalypse where the virus is spreading, even if you have strong power, there is no guarantee that there will be no accidents.
"If this makes brother feel embarrassed, An An can go alone. Then come back to see brother, okay?" She looked calm, but her eyes revealed her inner feelings.
It makes people feel that she is actually very scared, but in order not to embarrass her brother, she musters up the courage to force herself to go.
A hint of deep meaning flashed across Chi Yanhuai's eyes, as deep as lake water. After a moment, he asked, "Is this person important to you?"
What he didn't understand was why Tang Anan was so obsessed with this so-called guidance, and what good would it do for her to find this person. She was only seven years old, but her mind was much more mature than her peers.
Children of this age should all want to be protected by adults.
"Well, you could say so." Tang Anan looked hesitant, then nodded quickly.
It’s not that it’s particularly important, but as long as it involves the target task, everything related to it will become important to her.
"Since you think this person is important to you, I will accompany you on this trip." Chi Yanhuai sighed softly and almost inaudibly, with an indulgent look on his face, and compromised.
"Brother?" Tang Anan looked at him in surprise.
Chi Yanhuai stretched out his slender, white, bony hands and gently placed them on her soft hair, patting it twice. He half-jokingly said, "Who asked me to bring you home? After all, I am half your guardian, right?"
Hearing this, Tang Anan's face blossomed into a beautiful smile. She hugged him with emotion, her voice choked with sobs that were almost imperceptible. "Brother, it's great to have you."
The little face buried in Chi Yanhuai's arms had a twinkling eye and the corners of her lips were slightly raised.
What a responsible person.

Standing on the wall, observing the landing place, Tang Anan hugged Chi Yanhuai tightly and whispered, "Brother, I'm scared."
"It's okay, I won't let anything happen to you. Just tell me which way to go later." Chi Yanhuai comforted softly.
After resting for a few hours, his physical strength and the energy stored in his supernatural powers were restored, and he felt more comfortable using them.
