Su Shaozhou coughed. "Dad drove here himself. Go check if you saw him."
"Um."
Su Shaoze then got up and went out.
Yan Can looked up when she heard this, "Big brother, is Dad coming too?"
Su Shaozhou nodded and said that they got off work together, but his father was held up by something, so he came first.
Just then, the ward door opened.
Su's father came in first.
"dad……"
Just as Yan Can finished calling out to Su's father, she noticed that there was another person following behind him.
She froze instantly after seeing the other person's outline clearly.
"Zong..."
Zong Lian?
Before she could take a closer look, Su's father came up to her.
Adults love children, so they always pinch and pat them here and there until Yan Can's hair is all messed up. Only then did Su's father feel a little guilty and put his hands down.
"How are you feeling today? Does your head still hurt? Are you dizzy?"
Yan Can said he felt much better, and then he looked at Su's mother and the others.
Su's mother said, "He's much better today; he ate half a bowl more rice."
Father Su was relieved and praised Yan Can a few times with a smile. Then, remembering something, he turned to Yan Can and introduced her, "This is Xi Bai, the son of one of my friends. He's the same age as your second brother."
He said that Xi Bai came all the way from the capital to visit a patient. He originally planned to visit the Su family afterwards, but unexpectedly ran into them at the hospital, so he came over.
Yan Can was still somewhat dazed when Xi Bai arrived at the bedside.
"Nice to meet you, I am Xi Bai."
In a daze, Yan Can seemed to see Zong Lian again.
"Let's get to know each other again."
"I am Zong Lian."
