Although uncertain, Fengling's mood has improved considerably.
Later, he and Chu Sheng got along even better.
Seeing the wind chimes so happy, Tianya felt very gratified.
I no longer speak to him alone.
Let him fully enjoy this rare moment of freedom.
As the two strolled along, a strange woman approached them.
She is tall and has a face that is so striking that it's hard to look away.
Along the way, it attracted many people to turn their heads and look at it.
But strangely, her eyes were covered with a black cloth.
He looks like he's blind?
She was accompanied by a little girl who was two heads shorter than her.
He didn't help the tall, beautiful woman, but she walked very steadily.
It will automatically make way for people when it encounters them, as if it has eyes on a black cloth.
Upon seeing this from afar, Tianya spoke in a deep voice to Fengling:
"Young Master, these are two Spirit Masters. The taller one is at the fifth rank, and the shorter one is at the third rank. To have such strength at such a young age, they are probably Spirit Masters from the three Imperial Families."
Upon hearing this, Feng Ling frowned.
It doesn't matter whose spiritual master it is.
She quickly pulled Chu Sheng to the side:
"Let's go take a look over there!"
He didn't want to cause any unnecessary trouble.
As the wind chime turned to avoid her, the blindfolded beauty suddenly removed her blindfold.
I opened my bright eyes and looked in the direction of the wind chimes.
But the crowd blocked her view.
The girl next to her saw her stop and asked:
"What's wrong, Miss?"
The beautiful woman stared blankly into the distance for a moment, then finally shook her head.
"It's nothing, you must have just been imagining things..."
Then he covered his eyes again and whispered:
"Let's go."
...
As evening approached, Fengling glanced at the time and said it was time to go back.
Chu Sheng also suggested that he go to Feng Ling's house to see what kind of mansion the young master Feng lived in.
The wind chimes could only laugh awkwardly.
"I'll take you to my home sometime, but not today, sorry."
"It's alright, it's alright. You should go back now, I should probably go home too."
After saying goodbye.
He took Tianya with him again and rode the subway for more than 30 minutes.
We arrived at the neighborhood where we've always lived, Jinhuan Garden.
[Ding-dong~ We've arrived at Golden Ring Station, please get off.]
As soon as the subway doors opened, Tianya looked up and his eyes turned icy cold.
The sound rang in the wind chime's mind again:
"Young Master, don't talk to me. There are at least 20 Spirit Masters outside!"
Feng Ling was startled and slowly walked out with the flow of people, her eyes darting around unconsciously.
Has it always been like this?
There are so many spiritual masters outside the subway station every day after school?
Or is it tonight?
If it's tonight, then the wind chimes already have a vague sense of foreboding.
These people are probably all here for me.
More than 20 spiritual masters...
He began to doubt whether coming back was the right choice.
Can I survive being besieged by more than 20 spiritual masters?
Or rather...
Can the Sky Crow handle more than 20 Spirit Masters?
All the way, Fengling kept an eye on the people around her.
He didn't know how the Sky Crow could distinguish between a Spirit Master and an ordinary person.
He can't tell the difference now anyway.
His home is located in Jinhuan Garden Community, Building 1, 39th floor, a fully furnished studio apartment.
On the 39th floor, if something happens, there's no way to escape.
Unless you can fly like a crow.
Wind Chime has lived here since I can remember, and she is very familiar with everyone in the community.
On the way back, I ran into an old man walking his dog downstairs, and we exchanged a few pleasantries.
Boom—
A sudden clap of thunder startled Fengling and the old man.
"Sir, you'd better go home quickly! There's a high risk of a heavy rainstorm tonight!"
"Alright~ I'm off then~"
Feng Ling smiled, waved, and turned around, and then another rumble of thunder sounded in the sky.
A flash of purple-gold lightning streaked across the sky as I looked up.
Unbeknownst to many, a layer of dark clouds, as thick as a coffin lid, had already covered the sky above the city.
That eerie feeling was suffocating.
This intensified his unease.
Snap—
A drop of rain suddenly landed on his forehead, its cool touch making him feel much more awake.
Then, as if it could no longer hold back, the dark cloud poured down.
Looking up, tiny, mesmerizing water droplets, like clouds and mist, fall from the sky.
I quickly turned around and glanced back.
He immediately ran over to the elderly man who was walking with difficulty.
She quickly took off her clothes and draped them over his head:
"Grandpa! Here, take this and go home now!"
"Haha, okay, okay, good boy~ I'll wash it and return it to you tomorrow!"
The wind chimes just smiled.
tomorrow?
I honestly don't know if it still exists.
He then ran towards his building in the light rain.
When I rushed into the unit, I was already soaked to the bone.
Looking at her reflection in the elevator mirror, soaked to the bone, she gradually lost herself in thought.
The demonic version of myself from the daytime seemed to appear before my eyes.
This startled him, and he quickly blinked.
After confirming that he hadn't transformed, he breathed a sigh of relief.
I remembered the lucky charm on my arm; I hope it didn't get wet!
Fortunately, no.
[Ding-dong]
The elevator bell rang; we had arrived at the 39th floor.
The motion-activated lights outside the building were not on; it was pitch black.
