After handing over the children, MCA members slipped into a secluded corner and entered the system's small courtyard.
After packing up, I grabbed a big bag and rode my bicycle home.
I had just ridden my bike to my front door when I saw Zishan and Ziming playing there.
When the two saw Ma Hua return, they immediately cheered and ran to Ma Hua's side.
"Uncle, Uncle, you're back! I missed you so much."
"So, do you miss your uncle, or do you miss the delicious food I brought you?" Ma Hua asked as the two children ran over.
I quickly got off the bicycle, afraid of hurting the two adorable little ones.
"It's delicious," "Uncle."
Zishan and Ziming said in unison,
"Oh, so Ziming just liked the food I brought. I'm so heartbroken."
"Our Zishan is the best. Come here and let your uncle give you a hug." Ma Hua pretended to be aggrieved, then bent down and hugged Zishan with one arm.
"Uncle, don't be sad, Zishan misses you the most," Ma Zishan thought her uncle was really wronged, so she quickly comforted him in a soft and sweet voice.
"I like my uncle too, I... Waaaaaah! My uncle is a bad uncle, I never want to talk to you again!"
When Ma Ziming saw that his uncle only hugged Zishan and not him, and even said that he liked Zishan, he could no longer hide the grievance on his little face, and burst into tears.
Without waiting for a reply from the MCA, he ran home.
Ma Hua's baby, Ma Zishan, made a face in the direction Ma Ziming had left and shouted, "Brother Ziming, you're so shameful! You're so big and you're still crying. You're really shameful!"
"Oh, you've forgotten about your crying yesterday," Ma Hua said, looking at the little bundle in her arms, feeling her heart melt.
"Hmph, anyway, I didn't. I'm definitely not the one crying." Ma Zishan pouted and said angrily.
"Okay, okay, our Zishan is a big girl now, I believe she definitely won't cry anymore," Ma Hua said, affectionately patting Zishan's head.
"You brat, you've just come back and you're already bullying your little nephew, haven't you?" Before Ma Hua could even enter the house, he saw his mother come out with a broom, looking at him fiercely.
"Mom. No, I didn't. It was Ziming who said he didn't like me. I really didn't bully him. Ziming, don't you think so?"
"How about I buy you some candy later, okay?" Ma Hua felt a chill run down her spine when she saw her mother's fierce expression, and quickly said.
"Hmph, you brat, if you don't hug me, I definitely won't forgive you," Ma Ziming said, tears still clinging to his face, as he saw Ma Hua staring at him. He then turned his head away haughtily.
"Who said Uncle doesn't hold Ziming anymore? Come here, our Ziming is the best boy, let Uncle hold him!"
"Our Ziming is the best-behaved one." Before Ma Hua could finish speaking, he saw Zishan in his arms pouting and her eyes slightly red.
Holy crap, is this ancestor about to start too?
“Zishan is the best-behaved one too. You two are both good children, so your uncle can have one in each hand.” Ma Hua said hurriedly, and then picked up Ziming as well.
Ma Ziming and Ma Zishan, who were in Ma Hua's arms, exchanged a glance, both snorted coldly, and turned their heads away, no longer looking at each other.
These two little devils are really hard to please. I feel sorry for the older brother and sister-in-law for a minute.
"How old are you two? Still letting your uncle carry you? Aren't you ashamed?" The mother scolded the two children as soon as she saw that Ma Ziming had stopped crying.
"Hmph, I'm not ashamed, I just love it when my uncle holds me. I'll let my uncle hold me," Ma Zishan said, pouting her little mouth.
Ma Ziming put his arm around Ma Hua's neck, cupped his small hand to cover Ma Hua's left ear, and said, "Uncle, where's the candy you promised to buy me?"
"I want some too." Ma Ziming thought that by covering his uncle's ears, no one else could hear him.
Little did he know that he was burying his head in the sand. Ma Zishan overheard everything clearly.
"Hmph, your uncle won't buy it for you, you crybaby." Ma Ziming snorted coldly. His uncle had just said that he would only buy it for him.
"Hmph, then I'll tell Uncle not to buy it for you either." Ma Zishan made a face when she heard her brother's words.
She didn't believe it at all. Her uncle liked her so much, how could he not buy her something?
Ma Hua looked at the two little devils in his arms with a helpless expression.
"Mom, could you help me with these things in the car? I need to carry these two little devils back inside." Ma Hua was too busy to help, so she had to ask her mother for help.
"What did you buy this time? All you do is waste money. Didn't I tell you we have everything we need at home?"
Although the mother complained, her actions betrayed her, and she carried the things back home.
"Mom, where's the sauerkraut we pickled before? Could you take one out for me? I need it later."
"I'm taking these two little devils to the supply and marketing cooperative to buy sugar now." Ma Hua then remembered that the sauerkraut was still in the jar and hurriedly said to his mother.
"Okay, I got it. Go ahead, go ahead, and remember to come back early." Seeing Ma Hua's departing figure, the mother seemed to have thought of something and quickly chuckled to herself.
Normally, if it were up to me, I would definitely tell them to buy less and not spoil the two kids too much. But today is the Little New Year, so I went to the supply and marketing cooperative to buy things. They went and came back in a little while, without saying a word.
"Oh, oh, oh, oh, let's go buy candy! Uncle's going to buy me candy!" Ma Ziming cheered happily when he heard that his uncle was taking him to buy candy right now.
"Keep your voice down! Did you forget what Mom said? We have to keep a low profile and not talk nonsense outside!" Ma Zishan scolded her brother, trying to act like an adult.
