Seeing that she didn't directly ask for it but instead offered food in exchange, Bai Shuang figured the adult must be sensible; it must be the taste of her own food that caused the problem.

Bai Jiu and the other two, along with the snow leopard, were also watching from the side.

Bai Shuang examined the little girl, the compressed biscuit, and the bowl again carefully. Finding nothing wrong, she took both items and handed the bowl to Bai Jiu.

"Pick a few of our dumplings and put them in this bowl."
