Chapter 31 No Mercy

Just as Bai Shuang and her group were sailing around the bend, suddenly, four rubber boats appeared, flanking them from the front, back, left, and right.

Each of their boats carried four or five people, each armed with machetes, clubs, and some even nail guns.

It is obvious that this was a gang crime.

Anming was already trembling, but he still gritted his teeth and held the knife.

"Leave the ship and cargo, or we'll spare your lives!" someone shouted.

Bai Chang probed, "The ships are all left behind, how are we supposed to get back?"

"That's your problem. You can swim back, or you can fly back as a ghost." Hahahaha...

"I'm giving you one chance. Be smart and leave now."

Bai Shuang was unwilling to kill unless absolutely necessary.

"Wow! A beauty has spoken up! Sure, sure, but the brothers have come all this way, we can't just leave empty-handed. Why don't you come with us..."

The man's voice stopped abruptly, and he fell backward into the water, where he remained motionless.

It was a flying weapon thrown by Bai Chang.

At the same time, Bai Jiu and Bai Chang each jumped onto a rubber boat, bang bang bang...

They kicked the people on the boat into the water with a few kicks.

"Don't hold back."

With a whoosh, Bai Shuang simultaneously threw two poisoned needles at the other two boats.

Splash, splash, splash... The people on the boat suddenly tumbled and fell into the water.

Pick the softest persimmons to squeeze; someone swam towards Anming, raising a knife in their hand.

Bang, bang! Even though An Ming was terrified, he gritted his teeth and raised his knife to meet the attack.

The Tang sword was indeed sharp; the man's arm fell off, and he tumbled into the water, which immediately turned crimson.

Those with quick thinking swam away immediately.

Finally, things calmed down. The four rubber boats were deflated, folded, and taken away.

Bai Shuang had no sympathy for them. If you want to rob, you should be prepared to be robbed and killed.

The three of them acted as if nothing had happened after committing murder and arson, but An Ming couldn't calm down for a long time. He had finally witnessed it today.

Bai Jiu and his men kicked people on the boat like they were punching sandbags, while his young lady easily dealt with the people on both boats in a couple of moves.

He imagined that if he were alone today, he would probably be meeting the King of Hell by now.

Thinking of this, he felt even more grateful to Bai Shuang and secretly resolved to practice his skills when he got home.

After packing up, the group continued their journey back by boat. Perhaps due to the murderous aura emanating from them, the rest of the trip went relatively smoothly.

By the time they arrived at the entrance of Bai Chang's residential compound, it was already dark. "Will it be alright if you two take it back?"

Bai Chang replied, "It's alright, Miss. We'll come help you when we're done."

Bai Shuang didn't let them come over; everyone was exhausted after a long day. Anming's family would come to help carry things upstairs later, so it shouldn't be too tiring.

After they left, Bai Shuang and An Ming also entered Yi Chen Tian Fu.

Seeing their load of supplies, their eyes lit up, but when they saw the knives in their hands, they hesitated.

Upon arriving at Building C, a group of people were standing at the window, their eyes wide with amazement at the sight of the ship laden with supplies.

Envy, jealousy, and hatred

"Get out of the way!"

Bai Shuang waved the knife in her hand, and only then did they reluctantly walk to the side.

That's how people are; they're not worried about scarcity but about inequality. Right now, everyone is short of water, firewood, electricity, and even more so, food. They're so hungry they're dizzy and lightheaded. Why should you get so much food?

"Step back further."

After yesterday's events, they were still wary of Bai Shuang, but a voice muttered, "The hallway isn't yours."

Looking in the direction of the voice, the speaker was none other than Li Qingqing.

Just as he was about to doze off, someone handed him a pillow, a perfect opportunity to make an example of him.

He jumped through the window, didn't waste any words with her, grabbed her hair, and slapped her across the face.

Li Qingqing felt wronged and squatted down in the corner, sobbing.

Bai Shuang had wanted to teach her a lesson for a long time, and had already done so several times. Bai Shuang didn't remember when she had offended her, as she had only recently moved in. It was probably because of jealousy.

The more Li Qingqing cried, the more aggrieved she felt. Before Bai Shuang came, she, Li Qingqing, was the goddess of this building. When she and her sister went out, everyone would take a second look. She felt incredibly proud.

Who knew that someone even prettier than her, with a far superior aura, would arrive, instantly drawing everyone's attention away from her.

This drove her to the brink of madness with jealousy, yet she was powerless to do anything about it, so she sought to oppose Bai Shuang at every turn.

What's even more infuriating is that she also has incredibly high combat skills; even a group of people couldn't defeat Bai Shuang.

Now, even when everyone is starving, they still have the ability to find so much food outside.

If possible, she would keep all the goods on this ship for herself, but...

Now she can only confide her grievances in a corner.

Bai Shuang's beating of Li Qingqing did have an effect, and the move went smoothly afterwards.

First, they passed the items they needed to move through the window, and then the family of four started carrying them upstairs. Seeing that they were almost finished, Bai Shuang said she needed to go out and put the boat back in the storeroom.

Taking advantage of the darkness to cheat, they left the residential area and put Bai Jiu and his group's first batch of supplies on the boat, calling them down to unload them. Then they used the same method to bring An Ming's supplies as well.

Anming's wife cooked a meal and invited Baishuang to eat. Unable to refuse her hospitality, Baishuang went anyway.

"Thank you, Miss!" Anming's wife said sincerely.

They are able to live the life they have now because of Bai Shuang. It was Bai Shuang who took Dr. An out to find things on these two occasions, so that they had enough to eat and drink. Even when they first started stockpiling goods, it was Bai Shuang who reminded them.

She had witnessed firsthand the lives of the other people in the building, so she was sincerely grateful to Bai Shuang.
