Chapter 9: Continue Stockpiling

Bai Shuang continued placing orders, thinking of the tempting snacks—how could she miss out on these?

100 boxes of each of the following: Liangfen (cold mung bean jelly), Liangpi (cold skin noodles), Liangmian (cold noodles), Lengmian (cold noodles), stinky tofu, grilled gluten, kebabs, etc.

Next come spices and seasonings.

We ordered 200 catties each of rosemary, sage, fennel, chili peppers, and cinnamon.

You need to buy Sichuan peppercorns, star anise, bay leaves, cloves, and other spices.

There are also various sauces, mushroom sauce, Lao Gan Ma chili sauce, soybean paste, chili bean sauce, bibimbap sauce, chili sauce, sweet bean sauce, and Korean sweet and spicy sauce, 100 boxes of each.

I also bought 100 boxes of each of various barbecue seasonings, hot pot bases, and cooking seasoning packets.

I ordered two hundred boxes each of chicken bouillon, MSG, five-spice powder, thirteen-spice powder, cumin powder, chili powder, and pepper powder.

I ordered 1000 bottles each of light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, aged vinegar, balsamic vinegar, rice vinegar, white vinegar, cooking wine, and premium soy sauce.

We ordered 500 jin of each of the following: various fruit hard candies, milk candies, and brittle candies.

1000 boxes each of boxed milk and yogurt.

Soy milk powder, goat milk powder, cow milk powder, and various milk teas, 1000 each.

2000 jin of white granulated sugar, 2000 jin of white rock sugar, 2000 jin of yellow rock sugar, and 2000 jin of brown sugar.

A box of salt contains 50 bags; Bai Shuang bought a whole box, as this is a crucial strategic resource.

This morning's order totals 15 million, so we'll stop here for now. Otherwise, Bai Shuang is worried that warehouse number 2 won't be able to hold it all.

She left the address of warehouse number 2 and arranged for the goods to arrive tomorrow.

Bai Shuang drove out, first collecting orders from two breakfast shops, then heading to warehouse number 1. The fruit delivered by the scalper should have arrived by now. She didn't forget to put on her "gangster outfit."

When Bai Shuang arrived at warehouse number 1, Che Long was already waiting at the door. She wondered if the 500 yuan from yesterday had worked its magic, as this middleman was really going all out.

Not only were all the fruits very fresh, but they were also individually wrapped in foam netting and placed in cardboard boxes. The boxes were labeled with the variety and quantity, and each type of fruit had a different box, making them easy to distinguish.

He watched as Bai Shuang examined the item, then walked over with a smile and asked, "How is it? Are you satisfied?"

Bai Shuang gave a thumbs up, and then he started talking non-stop, "We specially invited our purchasing team from out of town yesterday; these were all freshly picked from the orchard and rushed over overnight..."

The prices of all kinds of fruit online are transparent and don't vary much. They make a small profit, which is within a reasonable range. However, fruit is much more expensive than vegetables.

They paid over a million yuan, and today they received 5,000 yuan in labor fees. They were all very happy.

There were several people there, and they used several vehicles.

Were they picked fresh from the tree? Some of them probably were, but not all of them, because some are imported fruits and others are transported from the south.

Apples, strawberries, cherry tomatoes, pears, berries, plums, fresh dates, peaches, bananas, cherries, pomelos, tangerines, oranges, berries, blueberries, mangoes, Solomon's seal, pineapples, durians, all kinds of grapes, watermelons, sweet fruits, honeydew melons...

Seeing the warehouse full of fruit, Bai Shuang felt a surge of happiness.

If my mother, grandfather, and grandmother were still alive, I could share this with them.

Bai Shuang waved her hand, collected them all into her space, locked the door, and headed towards Yangling Science and Technology City.

The car drove for two hours, first arriving at the warehouse where machinery was stored during the day.

Enter the code to open the door, and you'll see that all the machinery has been installed neatly, and even the oil has been added.

Open the mechanical parts box; inside are operation and maintenance instructions and tools.

Next to each machine is a box of spare parts, with the specific name of the agricultural machine labeled on the box to prevent the spare parts from getting mixed up.

Bai Shuang sighed with emotion, realizing that the people her grandfather and mother had raised for her were incredibly reliable, and she collected them all into her spatial storage.

The appliances were still in their original packaging, but they are all brand names, so there shouldn't be any quality issues. I put them in the space as well.

Drive to another seed warehouse, turn on the navigation, and arrive in about half an hour.

Bai Di, being a girl, is known for her meticulousness.

The warehouse was filled with neatly arranged shelves, each containing various kinds of seeds, categorized and stacked on top of each other.

The areas are categorized by family and name: grains, vegetables, fruits, nuts, pasture, and other tree species.

The tree area not only displays seeds, but also many seedlings and cuttings, as well as seeds of other trees. Each shelf is labeled with the type of seed and its price, and there is a note by the door that says "Shelves are free gifts".

Not only are they extremely reliable, but each of them also possesses considerable fighting skills, and their loyalty has been tested.

Bai Shuang once again felt she needed to reconsider whether or not to bring them along to the post-apocalyptic world. She'd have to think about it later.

After collecting these, there is another important task today: to purchase poultry and livestock "seeds".

Never mind, let's eat first and then work. Bai Shuang parked the car in the rest area, took out a chicken cutlet pancake and a bowl of beef stew noodles and started eating.

When Bai Shuang arrived at Yanglingyi City, the uncle at the gatehouse was a little surprised.

He only saw a luxury car parked in front of the door, and a fairy-like girl got out of the car and walked towards him.

"Uncle, where do you trade animal cubs?"

The middle-aged man snapped out of his daze, thinking the rich young lady wanted to buy a pet, and quickly started introducing her to other pets.

"Little animals, if you walk straight ahead and turn right, you'll see big dogs, small dogs, black dogs, white dogs, spotted dogs, spotted cats, and little hamsters, blah blah."

"What's going on here? Why are they all pets?" Bai Shuang corrected.

"I want to raise animal cubs so they can eat meat."

"Hey girl, if you want to eat meat, just buy meat. Don't ever eat the pet you raised yourself..."
