Chapter 129: You want me to be your mount?

A Chinese Ghost Story World

On this day, countless shooting stars fell from the sky!

Each shooting star represents a customer who landed in different parts of the world of A Chinese Ghost Story.

A meteor fell into a dilapidated temple, while several other meteors fell nearby.

As the smoke and dust cleared, college student Zhou Bing stood up, covered in soot. He glanced around and exclaimed excitedly, "I've finally escaped that hellhole!"

Fortunately, this event came at the right time, otherwise he really wouldn't have been able to handle Camilla.

Because this event was extremely special, he did not bring the other person into this world for safety reasons.

Suddenly, the smile on his face froze as he realized that the other person seemed to be able to see his actions.

He quickly changed his expression and said, "Wife, I missed you so much. That person wasn't me."

Only after saying that did I feel the vague sense of crisis recede!

Luckily, I reacted in time, otherwise I would have suffered when I got back.

Looking around, he frowned and said, "What kind of place is this? How can it be so dilapidated?"

Stepping onto the withered branch, the surrounding silence sent a chill down my spine.

Zhou Bing looked around and found that it was a dilapidated temple that had been abandoned.

A temple stele was unearthed in the corner of the wall. Looking at the three large, historically significant characters on it, I read aloud: "Lanruo Temple!"

So this temple is called Lanruo Temple? How long has it been abandoned? It's in complete disrepair.

Zhou Bing was not a Buddhist, but his internal magical power surged, and an invisible wave shook away the surrounding fallen leaves.

After clearing out a large area, Zhou Bing decided to stay there temporarily.

He knew nothing about this world yet, had no information whatsoever, and dared not act rashly.

In particular, the mourning staff and soul-locking chains inside his body were warning him of danger nearby.

After scanning the area with his divine sense, he sensed a soaring demonic aura emanating from the southeast of the temple. Judging by its power, it was incredibly strong.

At the same time, he also sensed some customers nearby, but none of them were from the Blue Star civilization.

One was in the nearby woods, a customer of the Tmall Civilization; another was a customer of the Tiger Hunting Civilization, directly south of the temple; the rest were customers of the Cannon Fodder Alliance.

With a wave of his hand, Zhou Bing created a gust of wind around the temple, clearing away all the fallen leaves.

In doing so, they also projected their own aura, letting the customers know that the place was taken.

Although he could easily deal with these customers, he didn't want to cause trouble and focused more of his attention on the southeast side.

...

In the woods southeast of Lanruo Temple, a towering tree stands, its dense branches shading the surrounding land.

This makes everything around us incredibly gloomy and filled with malevolent energy; an ordinary person would fall seriously ill if they stayed here for just an hour.

Within a strange underground space, the Tree Demon Granny was awakened by a divine consciousness.

After investigating, he exclaimed in surprise, "When did so many creatures appear in my territory?"

Why is it that the Tree Demon Granny uses living beings to describe the customers who appear on her territory?

Zhou Bing was one thing, but in her perception, he was a cultivator, and he was full of yang energy, which attracted her greatly.

But what are those other creatures?!

One looked like a cat demon, another looked like a tiger demon, and there was a group of strange-looking creatures.

They're like demons, but they don't have any demonic aura. Yet they're not demons either, because they have absolutely no relation to humans.

The Tree Demon Granny stopped thinking about it; in her eyes, these creatures were nothing more than fertilizer.

Her gaze was drawn more to Zhou Bing, who possessed only the strength of the Void Realm and was brimming with yang energy, making him incredibly delicious.

Even Yan Chixia, whose strength had reached the Tribulation Transcending stage, didn't possess the same abundance of yang energy as this young man. (Please don't mind, this is a modified version by the author; Ye Yun has altered the world.)

The tree spirit licked her lips, making no attempt to hide the desire in her eyes.

If I could devour such a yang-abundant cultivator, I might be able to break through the Tribulation Transcending stage and become an Earth Immortal.

Just as the tree demon was thinking things over and preparing to take action, chaos erupted outside the forest.

A customer from Tiger Hunter Star, his face bruised and swollen, begged the bearded human for mercy, "Hero, spare my life! I'm really not a demon!"

"I am a Tiger Hunter from the planet, not the demon you're talking about. Besides, look, I haven't hurt a single person!"

Yan Chixia stopped and looked at the strange creature in front of him. After observing it carefully and confirming that the creature did not have any malevolent aura, he withdrew the sword that was pressed against his throat.

The Tiger Hunter only breathed a sigh of relief after feeling the sharp sword tip leave his throat.

"My lord, I am truly not a demon; I am from the Tiger Hunting Civilization."

After taking a sip of wine, Yan Chixia asked, "Where is Hunter Tiger Star?"

Then, with a half-smile, he said, "Don't lie, I can tell whether you're lying or not."

"If you're lying, I'll cut off your head with one sword!"

The customer from Tiger Hunter Star said tremblingly, "I come from Tiger Hunter Star, a planet in the universe, and a level seven civilization."

Yan Chixia was completely bewildered. What exactly was a Level 7 civilization?

But he could sense that the other person was not lying, which really confused him.

However, he did understand one thing: the other party came from outer space, which piqued his curiosity.

"Since you come from beyond the heavens, how could you have seen those immortals and gods?"

The customers on Tiger Hunter Star looked puzzled. "Immortals and gods? What are those?"

However, being a customer of a seventh-level civilization, he quickly thought and said, "Sir, do you think I, with my current strength, am worthy of meeting those immortals and gods?"

Yan Chixia then said with disdain, "What you said is quite right. With your strength, you probably can't even see the feet of immortals and gods."

"Well, I see your strength is not bad. Although you are of little use to me, you can be my mount."

The customer from the Tiger Hunter Star turned green with rage; he understood the concept of a mount.

He, a being of a dignified seventh-level civilization, was actually going to be someone else's mount. If he really agreed, wouldn't he have completely lost face for the entire Tiger Hunting Civilization?

He was about to refuse firmly, but Yan Chixia turned his hand, and the sword in his hand revealed a sharp sword aura as it was pressed against his throat.

He instantly said from the bottom of his heart, "Master, actually, the first time I saw you, I felt that I was born to be your mount. Your majestic appearance is deeply engraved in my heart."

Yan Chixia said with a half-smile, "I didn't force you, did you do it voluntarily?"

The customer from Tiger Hunter Star nodded frantically, saying, "Master, I did it voluntarily, without any coercion."
