Wen Zhujun watched Jiang Bailu leave, then leaned against the doorframe and asked Yuan Qi, "Could she have something good to tell you?"
Yuan Qi had been walking the whole day and was quite tired. He lay sprawled on the daybed and lazily said, "I just want to use me to lure out Little Ninth Master. I don't have any bad intentions. Do you want to go?"
Wen Zhujun shrugged: "I'm made of paper, it's not really appropriate for me to go swimming, is it?"
"That's true, you'd better not get it wet."
After dinner, Yuan Qi was about to draw some more peace charms when someone came to find her and asked her to watch Wusun Ya Yue dance.
Yuan Qi used to think that Jiang Junjing was not a lecherous person. Although he was over twenty years old, he did not have any maids by his side and did not philander outside...
No, no, no, Jiang Junjing is a businessman who often comes into contact with all sorts of people. How could he not be interested in women? She just doesn't know it.
Yuan Qi overturned her own idea. However, she didn't care what kind of person Jiang Junjing was, whether he was lustful or not. As long as Jiang Junjing didn't do evil and there were no evil spirits around him, that was fine.
She took Wen Zhujun, Luzhu, and Hongshan to Jiang Junjing's courtyard.
Jiang Junjing, dressed in white, possessed an ethereal and otherworldly air, showing no trace of materialism.
On the table were fine wines from the Western Regions, crystal-clear grapes, and other fruits.
Wusun Yayue also changed into a red gauze dress, revealing a section of her fair waist. The narrow hem of the dress was adorned with many small bells, which jingled crisply and pleasantly with every movement.
However, two ghostly figures appeared in one corner of the room, a man and a woman. Judging from their appearance, they were also from the Western Regions. One was a middle-aged woman, and the other was a young man around twenty years old, strong and powerful, with his eyes fixed on Wusun Yayue.
The middle-aged woman and the young man remained hidden in a corner, far away from Jiang Junjing. Their eyes were wary, even fierce, as they stared at Jiang Junjing. The young male ghost was also emitting wisps of black mist, clearly indicating that he was enraged.
The male ghost said, "This man bullied Ya Yue all night last night, I'm going to kill him!"
The middle-aged woman pulled him along, saying, "Take another look. This person is quite nice to Ya Yue."
The male ghost strongly disagreed: "What's so good about it? Have you ever seen a man who's nice to a woman, only to torment her all night? The girl I cherish, I'm afraid to even touch her for fear of hurting her, yet he's tormented her all night. I can't stand it anymore!"
Yuan Qi heard their conversation clearly. The male ghost seemed to be Wusun Ya Yue's lover. This lover probably saw Jiang Jun Jing and Wusun Ya Yue being intimate, and it took quite a while. His ghost face had turned green.
With a smile on her face, Wusun Yayue told Jiang Junjing what piece the musicians would play later. She looked very happy.
But the male ghost didn't think Wusun Yayue was happy: "She must be forcing a smile to survive and to please that hateful man. I wish I could kill him, but unfortunately I'm dead and can't do anything about it."
Yuan Qi found the scene quite entertaining. She was also surprised to discover that Wusun Ya Yue's appearance had changed; the face that had indicated an early death had disappeared, and a face that suggested longevity had appeared.
The woman and the young man noticed that Yuan Qi and Wen Zhujun were watching them, and they became somewhat frightened.
While Jiang Junjing and Wusun Yayue were preparing, Yuan Qi beckoned them over.
Both of them saw the golden light of merit emanating from Yuan Qi and knew that she was a Celestial Master. They were worried that Yuan Qi would take them away directly or even beat them to a pulp.
She walked over, stood by the wall, and asked in a low voice, "Who are you? What are you planning to do by following her?"
The middle-aged woman said, "My name is Ulanbu, and I am Wusun Yayue's mother. He is Yayue's sweetheart named Bato. We mean no harm; we are just worried about Yayue."
Jiang Junjing brought in a musician, had him sit on a round stool, and whispered something to him before walking over to Yuan Qi: "What are you doing standing here? Come and try this wine and see if it's good."
Then Jiang Junyu arrived, followed by Jiang Jiulu.
Everyone gradually took their seats, and the atmosphere was great with laughter and chatter.
Wusun Yayue began to dance, swaying her waist and neck, a bright smile on her face. The bells at her waist jingled crisply, like the joyful laughter of a young girl.
Jiang Junjing stared at her with infatuation, his face beaming with a satisfied expression as he gazed at her exquisite and graceful figure.
Even Jiang Junyu nodded repeatedly, praising her endlessly, and whispered to Jiang Junjing, "Where did you get such a beauty?"
They spoke so softly that only the two of them could hear it, for fear that their younger sisters would hear and feel uncomfortable.
As the two men gazed at his beloved, the male ghost Bato grew increasingly displeased, and a menacing aura rose around him, as if he were about to attack at any moment.
Yuan Qi also admired Wusun Yayue, and he enjoyed the view while eating grapes.
Jiang Jiulu, standing next to her, simply stood up and stretched her waist, arms, and legs, imitating the dance moves of Wusun Yayue.
Jiang Jiulu tried to imitate it a few times but felt that her movements were stiff and far less agile and flexible than Wusun Yayue's.
She complained to Yuan Qi, "I dance all the time, so why am I so stiff?"
Yuan Qi said, "You haven't been jumping enough. Your body's muscles and bones haven't been stretched. If you want to learn, just find her."
Jiang Junjing turned his head and mocked Jiang Jiulu: "Even if you dance for another ten years, you still can't compare to Ya Yue. She's been dancing since she was a child, every day. What about you? You only dance once every ten days or half a month. How can you compare to her?"
Jiang Jiulu looked very hurt and dejected.
Yuan Qi smoothed things over, saying, "You don't need to use your looks to please people; just admire them."
Wen Zhujun shared the same thought as Jiang Jiulu: "You're both wrong. Does a woman have to learn to dance to please others? Isn't it better to appreciate it herself?"
Jiang Junjing wholeheartedly agreed with Wen Zhujun's statement: "You're right, my sister doesn't need to please anyone, she just loves to dance!"
The male ghost, Bato, was furious and scolded the group: "You bunch of bastards! Your sister doesn't have to please anyone when she learns to dance, but my Ya Yue has to please you all! You're bullying me too much!"
Yuan Qi casually reminded Bato, "That's enough, I'm still here."
The middle-aged female ghost was afraid of Yuan Qi, so she reminded Bato: "Don't talk nonsense. If you anger the Celestial Master, we won't be able to stay with Ya Yue anymore."
Barto squatted on the ground and cried in anguish.
Jiang Junjing thought Yuan Qi thought their words were too risqué, so he coughed lightly and said, "Alright, stop talking and watch Ya Yue dance."
Jiang Junyu whispered to her brother, "Let's wait until we have a chance to see it alone. I feel really uncomfortable with my sisters here."
Jiang Junjing could tell that Jiang Junyu also admired Wusun Yayue, so he smiled slightly and generously said, "If you like, I'll have her come and serve you for a few days in a few days."
