Upon arriving at the Bai residence, Second Master Bai led Yuan Qi straight to the second branch's residence.
Master Bai was worried that the evil spirits would continue to harm other members of the Bai family, so he walked very fast.
Bai Xiuqing was too old to walk fast, so Yuan Qi followed her slowly inside.
When Master Bai reached the second gate, he turned around and saw that Yuan Qi was far behind. He was furious and called over two old women: "Quickly, go and carry Miss Qi over here."

The Bai family members looked grave; many of them already considered Madam Bai the Second to be dead.
