The Fengdu Emperor Palace is located at the highest point in Fengdu City. Standing in the corridor and pavilion of the Emperor Palace, you can have a panoramic view of the entire Fengdu City.
When Wan Qiang stood there, a cold wind came from nowhere and lifted up her skirt, making her look like an immortal.
Behind her stood a man dressed in gorgeous clothes and looking very imposing.
The man looked at her back, and it was as if he was dreaming of the scene more than 6,000 years ago when she was standing in this pavilion in a light-colored robe.
Wan Qiang knew the man was coming the moment he appeared, but... she was just too lazy to look back.
Well, she wanted to see what he would say and do.
"Amen."
The man called her.
Hearing the voice, Wan Qiang had to turn around and face the man, showing a gentle smile, "Du Huai, long time no see."
Du Huai is the common name of the King of Fengdu. Very few people know this name, and Wan Qiang is one of them!
Thousands of years later, Emperor Fengdu was deeply moved when he heard Wan Qiang calling his name again.
"For over six thousand years, I once thought you were really..."
He hesitated to speak.
He used 'I', not 'Benjun'.
The atmosphere suddenly became a little sad.
Wan Qiang hated this kind of atmosphere the most. She took the initiative to step closer to him, reached out and patted his shoulder, "Du Huai, you've become an old bacon."
Wan Qiang emphasized the three words "old bacon".
After she finished speaking, she even curled up a wicked smile at the corner of her mouth, looking like a bad woman who did something bad but was complacent about it.
Du Huai looked at Wan Qiang in this state and felt a little dazed.
After a few seconds, he raised his eyebrows and chuckled, "A Mian, you are still the same as before, so frivolous."
Wan Qiang is of course the same as before.
Because for Du Huai and the others, the long separation of more than 6,000 years was just a brief moment for her.
"Du Huai, you took good care of Ali."
"I will never forget what Amen entrusted to me."
Wan Qiang did not stay in the Fengdu Emperor's Palace for long.
She and the King of Fengdu just had a brief chat for a while and then said goodbye.
Du Huai did not stop her. He looked at her back and said, "A Mian, come to the Imperial Palace when you are free. Lu Li will be very happy."
Wan Qiang: "Definitely!"
After saying that and taking a few steps, Wan Qiang suddenly thought of something and turned to look at Du Huai. "Why don't you bring A-li to the human world when you have time? Fengdu doesn't have the worldly air, and I don't like it."
Du Huai was slightly startled, then smiled and said, "Okay."
…
After Wan Qiang took Xiang Lan back to the hotel, she seemed very happy. Xiang Lan had an unusually curious mind, and after holding it back for a while, she finally asked.
"Aunt, who is that old friend you went to meet in Fengdu?"
Xianglan asked, and Wanqiang couldn't help but think of Guo Huai's face. Then, she smiled and replied, "I'm telling you, don't be scared."
Xianglan: "I'm very brave, I can't be scared."
"Oh? Then..."
Before Wan Qiang could finish her words, Xianglan interrupted her, very mysteriously, "Wait, Aunt, don't tell me, let me guess first."
Wan Qiang raised her eyebrows slightly, "Okay."
Xianglan: "Aunt, you've been so happy since you saw your old friend. My guess is, it's your old lover."
After saying that, Xianglan seemed to feel that the description was not appropriate enough, and she quickly added: "If you remove the word old, I think it must be your lover."
Wan Qiang: “?”
Can you give me some fresh ideas? It's so boring to keep talking about exes and lovers.
Wan Qiang sat down on the sofa and snapped her fingers casually. The sunny sky outside suddenly turned into lightning and thunder.
The rain came down in torrents.
Xianglan was extremely surprised. "Auntie, you... you can control the weather? You are so amazing."
Wan Qiang: "According to tradition, I have already stepped into the divine realm. I only lack merit and virtue to ascend to heaven in broad daylight."
Xianglan didn't understand what Wanqiang meant.
Facing her bewildered face, Wan Qiang felt somewhat helpless, but still patiently explained, "How could someone destined to become a god be so greedy for the petty love affairs between men and women?"
Xianglan didn't quite understand what Wanqiang meant, but she knew that he must be very powerful.
But clearly...
"Aunt, since you are not my lover, why are you so happy after meeting him?"
"Not a lover, but a good friend of mine, and someone who has shown me great kindness."
"Benefactor? A benefactor from Fengdu...that must be very awesome, right?" Xianglan became even more curious about the man's identity.
Wan Qiang pondered for a moment and said, "Well, he's quite awesome. His name is Du Huai, and he's the only god in the world."
"Du Huai? The only god in the world? Aunt, are there gods in Fengdu too?" Xianglan was stunned.
Wan Qiang said "hmm".
Xianglan fell silent and began searching on her phone. After about five minutes, she excitedly grabbed Wanqiang's wrist and said, "Aunt, the Du Huai you mentioned, could it be the Emperor of Fengdu?"
Wan Qiang didn't rush to respond, but glanced at the phone screen in Xianglan's hand, then smiled and said, "Xianglan, I didn't expect you to be so smart."
Xianglan: “…”
So...what kind of support did she cling to?
Hiss~ It seems I have to work harder to please my aunt in the future.
…
Wan Qiang woke up from a nap and found over twenty missed calls on her phone. She hadn't saved the name, but because she had received the memories of the unlucky man, she knew it was the man the unlucky man liked—Gu Ciyi, her childhood sweetheart and the goofball heap she'd grown up with.
Didn't Gu Ciyi covet the power and wealth of the Qiao family and go after the movie queen Qiao Yiyi? Why was he still looking for her?
