Chapter 279 A Different Gangster

After a simple greeting, Ma Hu opened up and told about his sad past.

"Both my parents were athletes, and under their influence, I became particularly fond of sports. I often traveled to different places to make friends with people who shared the same interests.

Last week, a friend of mine opened a horse ranch and invited me to go there.

Of course I wouldn't refuse such an interesting activity, so I just picked up two pieces of clothing and went over.

After arriving, my friend organized a few people to hold a horse racing event.

Maybe it was because I had better skills, I left them behind soon after the game started.

Just when I was showing off, trouble started to happen."

Ma Hu looked at the three-way intersection in front of him and couldn't help scratching his head. He wanted to take out his mobile phone to confirm the route, but found that the phone was out of battery.

He really couldn't make up his mind, so he thought of waiting there for a while, but after waiting for a long time, his friend didn't come over.

"That doesn't make sense. Logically, no matter how slowly they run, they should have arrived. Could it be that I took the wrong path a long time ago?"

Seeing that his friend was taking a long time to come, he decided to take a risk and chose the middle road. Unfortunately, the end of the middle road was a river.

Having reached a dead end, he returned to the chosen location and chose another route. As expected, it was also a dead end.

When his horse's hooves stepped on the third road, the horse seemed to be frightened by something, and kept lifting its front hooves, even trying to return regardless of his wishes.

Ma Hu was also a smart man. Seeing the strange behavior of Ma, he immediately decided to go back the way he came.

What puzzled him was that even though he had followed the original route, the scenery along the road had changed.

This miraculous discovery made him rub his eyes subconsciously. After confirming that he was not mistaken, he continued walking carefully.

After walking for a few more minutes, a speeding car suddenly came out from behind Ma Hu. The roaring sound scared the horse so much that he stopped abruptly and almost knocked Ma Hu off.

After seeing clearly who was driving the car, Ma Hu was so angry that he even wanted to get off his horse and duel with him.

Ma Hu and the person in the car are high school classmates, and the grudge between them has reached an irreconcilable point.

When he was in high school, Ma Hu also had a rebellious period. He hated his parents' coercion and discipline, so in order to show off his personality, he became a bully in the school as soon as he entered high school with his fighting ability.

However, this school bully is different from the common thugs. Apart from dyeing their hair, getting tattoos, and wearing strange clothes, his brothers have not done anything excessive.

The school saw that they did not disrupt class or bully their classmates, and because his academic performance was decent, they did not turn a blind eye.

Ma Hu did not let the school down. He used his reputation as a school bully to help many classmates who were bullied by outsiders, both openly and secretly. Sometimes he also helped the elderly and lonely people around the school.

This kind of affectionate and righteous school bully is loved by many classmates. They do not avoid him. On the contrary, many people take the initiative to make friends with him.

Similarly, this alternative approach also aroused dissatisfaction among many people, especially another group of thugs who established their authority by collecting protection fees and bullying the weak. They felt that Ma Hu and his friends insulted the title of school bullies and often brought people to surround them.

At first, Ma Hu suffered several losses at their hands. After all, these people were unreasonable and had no habit of fighting openly. They often attacked Ma Hu and his friends when they were alone.

But Ma Hu is not a lazy guy. Because of his free and easy personality, he has made many friends who practice martial arts.

Adolescents are at the age when they value loyalty. How can they watch their friends get hurt without helping?

In this way, Ma Hu, who had suffered several losses, used a little trick to gather them together, beat them up severely, and threatened them never to bother Ma Hu again.

Although those thugs were not convinced, they could only swallow their anger when they saw their opponents who were taller and stronger than them.

If these were the triggers for the fight between the two, what happened next was the real reason why they became mortal enemies.

Most of those hooligans were kids from ordinary families, and the money they had was not enough to support them in going out to eat, drink and have fun.

In order to maintain their own image, many gangsters will bully the weak to steal their money.

But people of the same age still carry too little money, so some of the bolder ones choose to rob or steal.

That day, Ma Hu went out to play and happened to see an elderly man chasing a young man.

Seeing the old man's staggering steps, Ma Hu hurriedly supported him: "Grandpa, there is still ice on the ground, why are you running so fast?"

The old man, using his crutches, gasped: "Someone, someone stole my money, but it was money I used to pay for my wife's medical treatment."

Ma Hu, with his overflowing sense of justice, immediately decided to help the old man get his money back: "Grandpa, please wait a moment, I'll help you catch him back."

Based on the clues given by the old man, he found several thugs who were dividing the loot.

Seeing his smug look, he became furious: "Hurry up and give me the money you stole, or I'll take you to the police station."

The leading thug's enemy appeared alone before him, a sinister smile on his face: "Come and get it if you want it!"

As he said that, he walked towards Ma Hu with his younger brother.

Ma Hu secretly cursed those people for not observing martial ethics, but looking at the thugs who surrounded him, he still treated them with full caution.

But two fists are no match for four hands. Even though he had learned some leg skills, he was still knocked to the ground by several people.

Just as the gangster was about to gesture at his face with a knife, the old man who had been robbed appeared with the police in time and rescued him.

What Ma Hu didn't expect was that the old man turned out to be a veteran who had fought in the war. At his strong suggestion, several thugs involved in the fight were sent to a juvenile detention center.

Although they were released after only a few days, this incident was still recorded in their files and they were expelled from the school.

At this point, the feud between the two sides was complete, and several of them often blocked Ma Hu in the alleys around the school, hoping to avenge themselves for being caught.

But Ma Hu is not a fool and always avoids that alley.

It was not until Ma Hu moved away due to his parents' job transfer that the few of them temporarily put aside their grudges.

The people in the car also recognized him and said provocatively, "Hey, isn't this our school's great hero Ma Hu? Why are you riding a horse? Do you really want to emulate the ancient knights?"

Ma Hu saw that his words were rude and he didn't want to conflict with him in such a place, so he wanted to leave on his horse.

But the man obviously didn't intend to let him go, and he actually stepped on the accelerator and drove towards him.

Ma Hu looked at his car accelerating non-stop, and his heart skipped a beat with fear.
