Chapter 56 Illness

She looked at Su Yan with lifeless eyes: "Master, the one on the bed is my son. Please help me see if he can be saved?"

Song Qiuya was on the verge of collapse. She and her husband sold breakfast in the county town. Because of their irregular work and rest schedule, they were afraid that it would affect their son's growth, so they had to leave the child at home to be taken care of by her parents-in-law.

A week ago, my mother-in-law called and said, "Qiuya, Xiaotian is sick, and it's a bit serious. Why don't you come back and take him to a big hospital for a checkup?"

She and her husband rushed home and found their son lying on the bed with his eyes closed. They called him several times before he woke up. The child weakly stretched out his hands for her to hold. As soon as she held him in her arms, he fell asleep again.

They rushed to the county hospital and after a series of examinations, they found that many indicators in the child's body were high, but the doctor was not sure what caused the abnormality.

Under the husband's questioning, the mother-in-law told them that the child had been sick for three days. At first, he just had a fever. She thought it was nothing serious, so she let the child take some medicine. Who knew that the condition was getting worse and worse.

The doctor didn't quite believe the mother-in-law's statement: "Grandma, think carefully, is it true that the child didn't touch anything?"

The mother-in-law shook her head firmly: "I watched the child very carefully, not letting him out of my sight for a minute. How could I have touched anything? Your medical skills are not good, so you can't put the blame on me."

Seeing how confident she was, the doctor temporarily believed her. However, the cause of the abnormality in the child's body could not be found, so he could only use the most conservative means of treatment.

However, after taking a lot of medicine, the child's condition worsened every day. He was still conscious for the past two days, but since yesterday, he has fallen into a coma. The doctor has even talked to them and asked them to be mentally prepared.

In order to spend more time with their child, they transferred the child to the general ward after consulting the doctor.

Song Qiuya was unwilling to see her child leave like this. When she sought help online, someone suggested that she find a master to calculate whether her child's soul was lost. She thought of Su Yan, who was very famous recently.

Su Yan looked at the photo of the boy before he fell into a coma. "Your son has a wide philtrum, which doesn't indicate he will die young. However, the veins on his forehead are prominent, which indicates he had many illnesses in his childhood, but these illnesses are not fatal."

Song Qiuya's eyes sparkled: "Master, you are right, my son has been sick frequently since he was born, that's why we left him to do business in the city, just to save more money for emergencies.

Since the master said he has no signs of premature death, does that mean my child can still be saved? What should I do?

Su Yan stopped her from getting excited: "I'm talking about his original fate. Now his head is protruding forward, and there's a horizontal line on his forehead. He's going to die early."

Seeing that she had burst into tears, Su Yan said, "Ask your family to come over. There are too few clues right now, and some parts are difficult to connect."

Song Qiuya hurriedly took out her cell phone, so panicked that she couldn't even unlock the screen. She took a deep breath and managed to calm herself down: "Husband, come with your parents, our son is saved."

The three people who were eating outside hurriedly paid the bill, took a taxi and ran to the hospital.

The mother-in-law rushed over and took her daughter-in-law's hand: "Qiuya, repeat what you said on the phone. My precious grandson is really saved."

Su Yan scanned the faces of the three people, and when she saw the mother-in-law mentioned by the woman, everything connected.

She suppressed the disgust in her heart and said, "Zhang Suqin, if you really care about your grandson, tell him everything. If you delay any further, there will be no hope."

Zhang Suqin's heart trembled when she heard the woman on the phone call out her name. To hide her guilty conscience, she raised her voice and said, "Song Qiuya, you really went to see a fortune teller and told her my name. Do you think it was me who harmed Xiaotian?"

She sat on the ground, kicking her legs wildly, and two tears squeezed out of her eyes: "I really did a sin. I have a daughter-in-law like you. That's my grandson. How can I not love him? Since you doubt me, I will jump off the building right now."

Her crying attracted the attention of the two people next to her. Her father-in-law looked at his daughter-in-law with dissatisfaction: "Qiuya, you are going too far."

Su Yan couldn't help but expose her performance: "Zhang Suqin, people only act so crazy when they are exposed. Since you don't say it, I will answer for you.

Ten days ago, you were outside talking to people from the same village. When your young grandson woke up and saw that you were not at home, he started playing on his bed by himself.

While playing, he saw a white bottle beside the bed. He remembered that you often ate from this bottle. Curious, he stood on tiptoe to reach the bottle, unscrewed it hard, and poured out the white pills inside.

He couldn't help but lick it, and after finding that it was sweet on the outside, he grabbed a handful and stuffed it into his mouth. When the sugar coating melted away and he began to taste bitterness, he wanted to spit it out, but he still accidentally swallowed a few of them.

The bitter taste in his throat made him cry. After hearing this, you came back from outside. Looking at the fallen bottle and the residue from the corner of your grandson's mouth, you realized that he accidentally took his antihypertensive medicine.

You are afraid of being blamed by your family, so you let your grandson drink more water to excrete the toxins from his body.

But in the evening, your grandson started vomiting and having diarrhea. Seeing your husband's anxious look, you still chose to hide it. After the village doctor got your inaccurate information, he only prescribed anti-emetic and anti-diarrhea medicine for the child.

You thought everything would be fine once the baby was defecate, but after a night's sleep, you discovered that the baby started to have a fever and couldn't even lift his head. You realized that the situation was beyond your tolerance, so you asked your son and daughter-in-law to come back.

After arriving at the hospital and seeing your grandson in such a serious condition, you didn't dare tell him and kept it a secret.

Zhang Suqin, is there anything I missed? If so, you can add it.

I'm really impressed. This old woman really doesn't know what's important. Is her family's blame more serious, or her grandson's life? Can't she tell the difference?

After I had my child, I kept the medicine where she could never reach it. From the way she placed the medicine by the bed, I could tell she wasn't as attentive to her grandson as she was to him.

[Master, could you have made a mistake? If he really took the medicine, the hospital wouldn't be able to detect it.]

When Zhang Suqin heard that her secret had been exposed, she looked at her husband, who clenched his fists, and said something sophistry: "You are slandering me. If this is true, the doctors in the hospital ordered so many tests, how come they didn't find anything?"

Su Yan looked at her sarcastically: "First, you refuse to admit it. Even if the doctor has a suspicion in this regard, he won't speak without solid evidence. Second."

She looked at Song Qiuya, who was crying silently: "You should have another child, a daughter."
