I comforted myself that this was a good thing. If I dropped out of school, I could start working early and help my parents reduce the pressure of life.
The next day, I appeared in front of Chen Chuan again with the love letters they had written. He looked disgusted and said to me fiercely: "Get out of here, you are such a jerk!"
That one sentence was like a basin of ice water poured over my head, freezing me completely unconscious.
But my will told me that there was still something to do, so I numbly stuffed the letter in my hand into his arm, and finally watched him tear it into pieces.

But unfortunately, my roommates found out and rushed back. They were very angry and thought I couldn't even do the smallest thing properly, so they tied me to a stool, insulted me, and beat me.
It was not until the early hours of the night that I untied the straps and planned to slip away while they were asleep. However, when I was tidying my shoes on the balcony, I made a noise and was heard by the big sister. She forced me to the balcony and beat me, threatening that she would not let me go even if I left school because I did not snatch Chen Chuan from her mortal enemy.
All of a sudden I seemed to understand why she forced me to confess my feelings to Chen Chuan. I was very angry and had an argument with her, asking her why she didn't seduce someone herself but let me go.
Maybe I touched her sore spot, she was very angry and said that Chen Chuan was not worthy of her help.
I felt funny at that time. Was Chen Chuan not worthy of her attack, or was she afraid to act rashly because she felt that she could not catch up with Chen Chuan and it would damage her reputation as the big sister?
It was so hypocritical that I accidentally laughed without realizing it. She immediately got furious and saw that I was laughing at her. In anger, she pushed me and I fell off the balcony.
