Cha Yao and Old Lady Cha looked at the uninvited guest at the door, and Cha Yao was a little surprised.
Instead, the old lady nodded at them in understanding and said calmly, "You guys are a little slow!"
This question stunned the person at the door!
How did she know they were coming? Was there a traitor in the police station?
Old Mrs. Cha guessed early in the morning that these policemen would also be present tonight. It had nothing to do with anything else, but because she had watched Chenxi's live broadcast earlier and noticed that there were many policemen and important departments waiting in Chenxi's live broadcast room.
So when she went out at night, she had already expected the police to take action, but she didn't expect them to arrive so late.
The policeman standing in the lead glanced at the two people still arguing over there, walked up to Mrs. Cha with a smile, and said, "Isn't this the time for you to vent your anger?"
Old Lady Cha's eyelashes twitched. She hadn't expected there to be such a connection. She smiled and thanked him, "Thank you so much."
"I've almost let out all my anger tonight, so I'll leave the man to you."
The police leader waved his hand back and said, "Did you hear that? Arrest them now."
Upon hearing this, several police officers quickly walked towards the two people fighting, picked up one in each hand, separated them, and handcuffed them respectively.
Master Ying and Gu Dan looked at the silver handcuffs on their wrists in horror, and said to Mrs. Cha unwillingly, "Madam, you can't do this to us. You clearly said that whoever is stronger will be spared. We haven't even decided the winner yet, how can you go back on your word!"
He questioned with confidence and didn't feel that he had done anything wrong.
Cha Yao angrily pointed at them and yelled, "Shut your dog mouths! You're so shameless! It's like dogs biting each other, how dare you yell at me? When did you ever tell my grandma what to do? Go tell the police."
Mrs. Cha looked at the two people who were caught and said calmly, "I did say I would let you go, but I don't know whether the police will let you go."
"After all, I didn't find it."
Gu Dan was choked and didn't know what to say. He could only stare angrily at the old lady who had been so lucky in her life.
Old Mrs. Cha let her look at it openly, with a smile on her face, as if nothing caught her eye.
The more Gu Dan saw the condescending look in Old Lady Cha's eyes, the more jealousy he felt.
It was this look of contempt that disgusted her the most.
I'm really fed up with playing nice with her these days.
She simply stopped pretending. The police were already here, and she couldn't do anything to her. So she laughed sarcastically and said, "What are you so proud of? It's just a little money. What's so great about it? You lost your husband in middle age, and you've lived a lonely life. Now that you're old, your son and daughter-in-law are gone. You're all alone. What a pitiful and sad life."
I don’t know what he thought of, but Gu Dan’s laughter became louder and louder.
Cha Yao looked at her grandmother distressedly and whispered, "Grandma, don't listen to her nonsense, I've always been by your side..."
Old Mrs. Cha knew her granddaughter was worried about her, so she gave her a playful wink and looked at Gu Dan and said, "You're right. I don't have anything except a lot of money. Although money can't buy family affection, it can buy happiness and worry-free life."
"You have a son and a husband, yet you're still out there cheating. I wonder which of us is more pathetic?"
"Besides, my son and daughter-in-law are away from home all year round, but they work tirelessly to earn money for us grandchildren. Your son and daughter-in-law are home, but they act like debt collectors, not paying a cent. Instead, they act like vampires, constantly taking money from the household."
At this point, Mrs. Cha sighed and said, "As both a son and a daughter-in-law, there's really no comparison.
It's no wonder you're still committing fraud at such an old age. I feel so sorry for you. You must correct your behavior after you go in. Try to be a good person after you get out. Don't do these dirty things anymore, otherwise you'll have to spend the rest of your life in prison."
Gu Dan was so angry that his whole body was shaking. His eyes seemed to be filled with poison as he looked at the person who kept talking viciously, wishing he could tear him to pieces.
It's this mouth that is so unreasonable. I really want to tear it open so that she can never speak again.
Thinking of this, Dali pushed the policeman next to him away and ran towards Old Lady Cha. The leading police officer close to Cha Yao frowned and kicked the person who was about to achieve his goal back.
"puff!"
Gu Dan lay on the ground, his cheeks flushed with pain. He spat out another mouthful of blood, then tilted his head and fainted.
The policeman who had just been pushed away felt sorry for his mistake, nodded in the direction of Mrs. Cha, and then half-dragged the unconscious person out.
After returning to the police station, a basin of cold water woke him up. After an interrogation, Gu Dan confessed all his crimes.
According to her confession, she and Master Ying had worked together to defraud many people, and Mrs. Cha was not the first nor the last.
The two people's confessions are basically consistent.
Due to the huge amount of fraud, the two were sentenced to death and all the money they held was confiscated. Although a lot of it was spent, the remaining amount was still scary.
The police notified the defrauded people to come over and returned the money in proportion.
Mrs. Cha did not accept the money, but asked the police to donate it all to charity.
Cha Yao took her grandmother back to the villa and smiled and thanked Chen Xi: "Master Chen, thank you! If it weren't for you, I'm afraid my grandmother wouldn't be able to come out today..."
Old Mrs. Cha pretended to cough and interrupted her granddaughter, saying, "Nannan, go make grandma a cup of fruit tea. My mouth is so dry and it's really uncomfortable."
