Chapter 74: The Children's Palace is dark, your child is in danger

She replied to Uncle Wang: "Isn't your family cursed?"

Upon hearing this, Uncle Wang's face became even more worried.

If it's not a curse, could it be that I did something immoral in my previous life and am being punished in this life?

Thinking of this, Uncle Wang asked, "Could it be that we did too many evil things in our previous lives?"

Chen Xi almost laughed at his words. How could this be related?

Chen Xi was just about to tell them that this was a problem with other things and wanted him to walk around the house for her to see. But just as the words were on the tip of her tongue, Chen Xi saw something bad and her eyes showed panic.

"Wait a minute, where are your kids?"

Uncle Wang was stunned. He didn't understand why the master suddenly mentioned the child, but he felt a little uneasy in his heart. He said in panic: "They just went to buy paper money..."

Chen Xi: "How long have you been out? Are you driving?"

Uncle Wang was frightened by the master's anxious look and staggered. He said in a panic: "We just left not long ago. We drove a car."

"Hurry, call them and tell them to pull over. Don't drive anymore, don't go out to buy anything, and come back right now."

Uncle Wang’s phone was playing a video and he glanced at Aunt Huang.

Aunt Huang had been watching on her mobile phone, so she naturally heard what Chen Xi said. She was so scared that her whole body was stiff. She tried her best to control her panic, turned to her son's phone number on her mobile phone, and dialed it with trembling fingers.

"Hey, what's up, Mom? Is there anything else you want to bring?"

Aunt Huang felt a little more at ease when she heard her son's voice. She said in a persistent tone, "Pull over, immediately."

Wang Chengcai looked at the busy highway and said, "Mom, it's not easy to park here..."

Aunt Huang yelled, "I told you to stop the car, did you hear me?"

Wang Chengcai glanced at his sister, Wang Chengxiu, who was sitting in the passenger seat. "Mom said we should pull over?"

Wang Chengxiu hadn't slept for several days because of the night watch. He was now pretending to be asleep with his eyes closed. When he heard his brother's question, he frowned impatiently.

"She's in trouble. Don't pay attention to her. She's probably in a bad mood."

Wang Chengcai agreed with his sister's words and thought that his mother was tired in the past few days and was not in good spirits, so he was ready to refuse.

Aunt Huang's heart skipped a beat when she heard her little daughter's words. She lowered her posture and pleaded, "Come on, son. I'm begging you. Don't worry about it. Just think of me as having a mental problem. Come back."

Wang Chengcai frowned, thinking his mother was a little strange today. But seeing how nervous she was, he slowly moved the car to the side of the road, pulled his sister up, opened the door and got out, then pushed the car backwards towards home. After reaching a safe place, he asked:

"Mom, we're down here. Don't get excited. What happened?"

"Don't ask so many questions, just go home, just walk home!"

Aunt Huang was so scared that she broke into a sweat. When she heard that her son had gotten off the bus, she slid off the stool and sat on the ground, gasping for breath.

Wang Chengcai felt puzzled. His mother had just urged him to buy paper money, so why did she change her mind now? He scratched his head, not understanding what was going on, but still followed her instructions and went home.

"It's so annoying, so much trouble..."

"Bang!"

Just as he took a step, an explosion was heard on the highway behind him.

Wang Chengxiu's half-finished nagging got stuck in his throat and he swallowed it back.

"Son! Xiaoxiu!"

"Xiaocheng!"

Although they were a bit far away, the sound was so loud that it was still transmitted to Uncle Wang and Aunt Huang through their mobile phones.

The two men felt their hearts tighten, their breath was stuck in their chests, neither going up nor down, and fear was in their eyes.

Because the phone was on speaker, many people heard the loud noise.

[Oh my god, what's wrong? Is something serious wrong?]

[I'm so worried! My palms are sweating! Master, please bless me and keep me safe!]

"They should be fine. Didn't they just get off the car? Judging by an adult's pace, they should be quite some distance away from the car."

Just as everyone was discussing enthusiastically and speculating, the voice of Uncle Wang's son rang out on the phone again.

"Mom and Dad, we're fine. A car collided with a tanker truck on the highway."

Wang Chengcai comforted his parents, but his eyes were looking at the highway they had just gotten off in disbelief.

The explosion happened just five hundred meters in front of his car!

Looking at the raging fire caused by the explosion, I'm afraid no one in the nearby cars survived.

His heart was pounding. If they hadn't gotten out of the car, would they have been affected as well? Or worse, would their car have been hit by a tanker truck?

His parents were still talking on the other end of the phone, but he couldn't hear a word. His legs felt weak and if he hadn't tried hard to restrain himself, he would have probably fallen to his knees by now.

"Let's talk about it when mom and dad get home!"

He was cold all over at the moment and didn't want to worry his parents, so he just gave them some instructions and hung up the phone.

Wang Chengcai found a piece of open space and sat down on the ground. His mind was confused and he planned to calm down for a while before going home.

"elder brother......"

Wang Chengxiu had already collapsed on the ground. Now he saw his brother sitting not far away, constantly calling Wang Chengcai, as if this would make him less scared.

Wang Chengcai took a deep breath and slowed down, then lifted his butt and moved towards his sister, holding her in his arms and gently patting her back with both hands, "Don't be afraid, we are all fine..."

Mom must know something, otherwise it wouldn't be such a coincidence.

He planned to wait until his sister recovered a little, then go back immediately and ask for clarification.
