When he was 23 years old, he went to the town to sell vegetables and happened to find a book on the stall. He bought it and when he saw a taboo, he felt that his chance for revenge had come.
So he began to follow the eldest brother of the Wang family and build a good relationship with him. Even though he would put on a bad face, he didn't care because he didn't want to hit someone who smiled at him. He followed the eldest brother of the Wang family like a little tail, running errands for him and doing some work for him every day.
It took a full ten years for the two to become close friends who could talk about anything.
Then, during a drinking party, he deliberately revealed, "Brother Wang, did you see the Taoist priest who came to my house that day?"
"Ah?" The drunken Wang family's eldest brother thought for a moment, "Well, it wasn't just me who saw it, the whole village saw it. Why did you invite that person back?"
Hu Lao San smiled cunningly, leaned close to the eldest brother of the Wang family and whispered in his ear, "You may not know this, but I spent 30,000 yuan to hire this Taoist priest to look at Feng Shui.
Just yesterday he went to the cemetery with me, and before we left he told me that planting a palm elm or a Chinese toon tree on or next to a grave would bring great fortune.
"It must be a lie, it's not that magical." Although the eldest brother of the Wang family was skeptical, he was eager to try it out.
He was doing business outside, and his business had not been good in the past two years, so he had always been thinking about making a fortune. When he heard about such a shortcut, he couldn't help but be tempted.
Hu Laosan had been observing him the whole time. Seeing that he was interested but still skeptical, he continued, "It's mainly because I saw a friend of mine do this. He made a fortune in just a few years. I begged him for a long time before he introduced him to me. I'm only telling you this, so remember to keep it a secret."
Before the eldest brother of the Wang family could say anything, he continued, "I've been hiring this guy for two whole years. He only had time to come over a few days ago, and he stayed for less than three hours before leaving."
"He's a really busy man. My friend told me that the line for that Taoist priest to see his feng shui is three years long. He's a regular customer, so he gave me an expedited appointment."
The eldest brother of the Wang family was moved but did not show it on his face. After finishing his meal and returning home, he fell into a deep sleep. Less than three days later, Hu Lao San saw the eldest brother of the Wang family bought a palm elm tree from outside and carried it to the cemetery.
He didn't go forward at that time, but he was extremely happy after returning and even ate two more bowls of dinner.
When Hu Laosan woke up, he had a smile on his face.
Looking at the time, I guessed they would be back soon after moving the trees.
He knew that it wouldn't be long before Lao Wang would come to his house, so he took some warm water, washed himself, and changed into a new set of clothes.
He looked at the person in the mirror, his face full of vicissitudes. He no longer had the youthful vigor of his childhood, nor the open-mindedness of his peers. All he had was hatred, scheming and vicissitudes.
Looking back, he had lost himself in hatred for so many years and was not living like himself.
The ten-year-old boy stood in the classroom and loudly told the whole class, "My dream is to become a policeman and serve the people."
In reality, he became an indirect executioner and sent his enemies away.
But he doesn't regret it!
He picked up the green medicine bottle in the corner, tilted his head back and drank it.
Then he walked into the yard as if nothing had happened and lay down on the chair he had been sitting on before.
Sent a text message to my younger sister.
The phone screen showed that the message was sent successfully. He felt that his life was complete. He had to repay what he had done and could not let his sister's family be gossiped about.
Hu Xiaomei was cooking when she suddenly received a text message from her elder brother. She was so scared that she dropped the spatula in her hand and made a hole in the bottom of the pot.
She immediately ran towards her eldest brother's house, muttering, "Brother, please don't let this get you down."
Uncle Wang led the villagers to transplant the brown elm trees and returned to the village on a tractor.
When saying goodbye to everyone, he followed his original inner thoughts, took out the money, and gave each person three hundred. Even if they did not accept it, he still gave it to them forcefully.
He originally planned to go home to visit, but he sent Aunt Huang away and walked to the east end of the village alone.
Some things need to be resolved at some point; it's not good to leave them alone.
Those young people were so innocent, but they paid the price for this because of old events.
[Hey, where is Uncle Wang going? ]
[His expression was quite serious, and he deliberately sent Aunt Huang away. This definitely wasn't a good thing.]
[My blind guess is that the tree is the culprit! ]
[It seems so. I remember when he learned the truth about the brown elm tree, he cursed and asked who he was looking for a fight.]
When Uncle Wang made his choice, Chen Xi had already seen the future. That person's fate had come to an end. It was good this way. The two of them talked things out, and it was a perfect ending.
Uncle Wang didn't knock on the door and walked straight into Hu Laosan's yard.
"You're here?" Hu Laosan slumped in his chair without even raising his eyelashes.
"Why do you do that?"
"Why?" Hu Laosan slowly opened his eyes and looked into the void, as if he was thinking about something. After a while, he replied, "Don't you know better than me? You were quite old that year, so you should remember it."
Uncle Wang sighed softly, "Just because of this, you want my entire Wang family to be buried with your father?"
“You’re too cruel!”
"Hahaha..." Hu Laosan laughed as if he heard a joke, and blood flowed from the corner of his mouth, but he wiped it off to cover it up before Uncle Wang saw it.
"You're saying it so lightly. If it weren't for your Wang family's dominance, humiliating my father and breaking my legs, our Hu family wouldn't be in the state it is today."
"My mother wouldn't abandon us, and my eldest sister wouldn't follow my father at such a young age. How dare you say I'm cruel? How could your Wang family not be cruel..."
