Sheng Yue basked in the compliments from those around her, as well as the envious glances from not far away.
"Little princess, I didn't have a chance to ask you what happened before. I heard from your parents that you fell from the building and got hurt?"
"I saw it too, Miss. You've been wronged. Are you alright?"
The bandages on Sheng Yue's head were removed, and her injuries had almost healed.
But she deliberately showed her bandaged wrist, her eyes filled with sorrow, "My parents brought a girl home and want to register her in the Sheng family household."
"she……"
"What's wrong with her, little princess? Tell me."
"How could there be such a person? This is too much!"
"Why would your parents bring other girls home? You're their only daughter."
Sheng Yue looked sad. "She doesn't like me, and my parents trust her more."
She forced a smile and said, "Maybe it's because she grew up in the mountains and her parents felt sorry for her."
"Grown up in the mountains? A wild man? How disgusting."
"Even so, you can't bring her back, can you? Where do they put you? Your parents used to be so nice, how did they become like this?"
Sheng Yue lowered her head and said, "I don't know, things changed like this after Xinghe came."
"That's outrageous! We must help you get rid of that shameless woman."
As soon as he finished speaking, three luxury cars pulled up in front of the school.
Sheng Heng arrived first. He got out of his car and waited for Xinghe's car to arrive. He opened the car door and extended his hand to politely invite Xinghe to get out.
Sheng Xiuwen and Ye Ning also got out of the car.
Sheng Lao Er arrived last, rushing up in a hurry.
The person next to Sheng Yue saw Sheng Heng and excitedly grabbed Sheng Yue's arm, "Miss, Sheng Heng, the movie star, is also your brother, right? Could we take a picture with him? Please, please."
Sheng Yue's expression wasn't good. "Brother Sheng Heng doesn't usually like taking photos."
Sheng Heng is an arrogant person; no matter how much she tries to please him, he only gives her a few indifferent replies.
Sheng Yue didn't want to make a fool of herself at this crucial moment.
"Oh? But they were taking pictures, and quite a lot of them."
Sheng Yue then realized that Sheng Heng and the others had taken countless photos in front of the University of A's logo.
There were solo shots by Xinghe, shots by several of them, and shots by them and Xinghe as a duo.
Even the second son of the Sheng family shamelessly squeezed in and took a group photo.
Sheng Heng is very famous, but he also has a bad temper, otherwise they would have surrounded him long ago.
If they could get a photo with Sheng Heng, they could brag about it for a long time.
The group was eager to try and began urging Sheng Yue, "Miss, please, could we take a picture with your brother Sheng Heng? He'll definitely agree for your sake."
Sheng Yue always acted as if they were incredibly kind to her in front of them.
Sheng Yue didn't want people to know that she and Sheng Heng didn't get along, and she often brought up Sheng Heng in front of these people.
Sheng Yue steeled herself and walked over, calling out, "Brother Sheng Heng."
Sheng Heng glanced at Sheng Yue, a forced smile on his face, "You've signed up too."
"Brother Shengheng, I have a few female friends who are your fans and would like to take a photo with you. Could you spare a few minutes of your time?"
Sheng Yue looked at Sheng Heng with a soft, weak voice.
"Oh, it's almost nine o'clock. My sister's registration time is approaching. Maybe next time."
Sheng Heng grabbed Xinghe and said, "Sister, quickly say goodbye to your half-sister. We need to go inside first."
Xinghe looked exceptionally beautiful today. Her short hair was neatly styled, she wore a light blue stone around her neck, and she was wearing an off-the-shoulder long dress. Standing in the sun, she seemed to be glowing.
Sheng Heng didn't really want Xinghe to say goodbye, so he pulled Xinghe along and walked forward.
Sheng Heng swaggered into the school, wearing sunglasses. He and Xinghe were a pair that attracted a lot of attention.
The students at University A were of decent quality; even though they recognized Sheng Heng, they didn't try to surround him.
They were just excited, quietly taking photos and posting them on WeChat Moments and other social media.
Sheng Xiuwen and Ye Ning lagged behind, while Sheng Yue looked at them with teary eyes.
Sheng Xiuwen lowered his head, looking deep in thought.
Ye Ning watched Xinghe and the other person walk away and asked them a few perfunctory questions, "Didn't your older brother and the others come?"
Sheng Yue's voice sounded even more aggrieved, "They're busy with something, I'm all alone."
Ye Ning said, "Let your second brother stay with you. We have other things to do, so we'll be leaving now."
As soon as Ye Ning finished speaking, Sheng Xiuwen immediately looked up, grabbed Ye Ning, and walked away quickly.
Actually, they didn't want to be so ruthless, but Sheng Yue's repeated actions had disheartened them.
They raised her all these years, and now she wants to use her fans to pressure them.
The incident of her jumping off the building had blown up, and they couldn't remove her from the Sheng family immediately. But their friendship of so many years had come to an end.
Perhaps it could be said that it was just the fans' behavior.
A few years ago, Sheng Yue was somewhat famous online, and there were all sorts of opinions about her.
To support and protect Sheng Yue, Sheng Xiuwen and Ye Ning used alternate accounts to join her fan group. They were willing to spend money and became big fans in the group.
They saw everything Sheng Yue said in the group chat.
She seemed to be distancing herself from the Sheng family, but every word she said was an implication, implying that she had been wronged and was very sad because of the Sheng family.
From that point on, the last vestige of affection between the two men and her was severed.
Sheng Lao Er was left standing there, speechless.
Sheng Yue's fingers dug deeply into her palms, her face still showing pity and grievance.
