Her voice was gentle, with a hint of a smile.

When Gou Dan saw Xinghe finally looking at it, it jumped up excitedly, rubbing against Xinghe's fingertips and sticking its paws together.
Like a happy little dog, never stopping.
Xinghe held it in her hands, examined it, and saw the cracks on its egg. "It's about to hatch, it should be in the next couple of days."
Xinghe tapped its eggshell, "Try harder and speed things up. I'll be back in China in two days, and I'll treat you to a big meal then."
The whole egg was excited, and a small, weak bark came from inside the shell.
The black egg rolled around a lot in Xinghe's hand.
"What's wrong with you? Why are you barking like a dog?"
Xinghe didn't understand. She vaguely sensed what was inside the egg, but—why was it barking like a dog?

Xinghe rolled around on the bed twice before embracing the golden boy and jade girl and falling into a deep sleep.
