Sheng Laosan rushed downstairs like a madman, not even bothering to put on his shoes.
Downstairs, Ye Ning and a few others were having breakfast.
"Mom, I was wrong, I really know I was wrong."
His face showed regret, and his eyes held a deep sense of fear.
Ye Ning didn't speak, and the smile on her face turned colder.
Sheng Laosan shuffled a few steps closer to Ye Ning.
Sheng Xiuwen glanced at him, and he dared not move, standing obediently by the table.
Ye Ning didn't glance at Sheng Laosan even once from beginning to end.
She can be soft-hearted when she's soft-hearted, and she can be truly ruthless when she's ruthless.
She admitted that her education was a failure.
But she never believed that having children meant that being a parent became their only identity.
"I want to see that all of Sheng Yue's things have been moved out before Lao Sheng and I come back this afternoon. Otherwise, you can all move them out."
Her casual remark caused the brothers' expressions to change.
After saying that, Ye Ning reached out and patted Xinghe's head, a smile appearing on his face. "Your dad and I have some things to do at the company. The tutor from yesterday was delayed by something, but she should be home soon."
"Little sister, be good at home. Your dad and I will be back soon. There is fruit and yogurt in the refrigerator. Just tell Wang Ma what you want to eat."
"Call me and your dad if anything happens, okay?"
Xinghe, the little cat, had big, round eyes and a ring of white milk around her mouth. She nodded obediently, looking incredibly cute.
Ye Ning's heart melted. She hugged Xinghe and kissed her twice before letting go.
As for her other brothers, she didn't even glance at them.
When Sheng Lao Er saw Ye Ning and Sheng Xiuwen leave, he immediately stepped forward and whispered to Xinghe, "I didn't mean to let my parents see what happened during last night's live stream."
He pushed the shrimp dumpling towards the Milky Way, saying, "This shrimp dumpling looks delicious."
He remembered that Xinghe seemed to really enjoy eating; he had just seen Xinghe eat several.
Xinghe's face was full of suspicion. "Unsolicited kindness is either a trick or a theft."
Her cat-like eyes darted around. "I know, you did it on purpose last night, so now you feel guilty?"
And then I wanted to use something small to please her?
Is she someone who can be so easily bribed?
Sheng Lao Er had no way to explain himself, "I really didn't, I just..."
I regret it now, and I want to treat Xinghe better.
Sheng Lao Si also wanted to chime in, but couldn't get a word in edgewise, so he looked anxiously at Xing He and Sheng Lao Er.
He glanced at the shrimp dumplings a few more times, noticing that Xinghe seemed to really like them. Were they really that delicious?
It looks very simple, it shouldn't be difficult.
Xinghe noticed Sheng Laosi's gaze; he had been staring at the shrimp dumplings far too often.
Xinghe picked up the shrimp dumplings and placed the whole plate in front of him.
"This was made for me by Wang Ma. If you want some, go get some yourself."
I really wanted to take her food, but I was too embarrassed to say it. No wonder she beat around the bush and said it was delicious.
Xinghe took a big, hard bite. "There's none for you."
Its cheeks were chubby, and its kitten eyes were round and bright.
Sheng Lao Er and Sheng Lao Si felt as if something had gently tickled their hearts.
Xinghe glared at them, finished the shrimp dumplings on her plate in a few bites, and then, with a satisfied burp, told Wang Ma in a coquettish tone what she wanted to eat for lunch.
Wang Ma's face was full of wrinkles from smiling, and she kept saying "good".
I've been working non-stop for many days, but today I finally have some free time to stay home and get some rest.
She claimed the best spot in the sunroom, enjoying her dessert, and was so happy she wanted to curl up in the hammock.
The second and fourth brothers of the Sheng family acted like they were crazy, constantly passing by the balcony.
The way she looks at me is always a little strange.
He probably wanted to come in, but saw she was already there.
Who cares about them? In this family, Mom and Dad are the ones who call the shots. Those brothers are just small pieces of meat.
When Sheng Lao Er and Sheng Lao Si passed by the Sunshine Greenhouse again, they glanced at the location of Xinghe once more.
Xinghe glared at her, then nestled in the recliner, swaying back and forth, her chin tilted back a little too high.
It's no different from a pretty and sweet Ragdoll cat.
The two men stood at the door staring at her for a while. Xinghe frowned, raised her little fist, and said, "This place is mine now. If you keep looking, I'll beat you up!"
Now, she has her parents backing her up.
Sheng Lao Er and Sheng Lao Si then left the Sunshine Greenhouse without lingering any longer.
Xinghe hummed, the sunlight slanting down on her, her soft hair radiating a hazy golden light, the sunlit greenhouse warm and fragrant.
Xinghe's little head bobbed up and down, her eyelids felt incredibly heavy, and she couldn't open them properly. The things in her hands fell onto the recliner.
And so, Xinghe fell asleep.
She didn't know how long she had slept, and when she opened her eyes again, it seemed as if she had fallen into a dream.
She saw that a very handsome guy was sitting across from her.
Her silver-white hair was tied back and swayed gently, and below her high nose were her somewhat pale lips.
Her long, raven-feather-like eyelashes fluttered gently.
He raised his hand and flipped through the book in his hands. Xinghe was embarrassed to admit that his hands were a little shaky.
Xinghe will never forget those hands in his lifetime.
She sat up abruptly in her deathbed, raising her hand like a beckoning cat.
"Hey handsome guy, we meet again."
Looking at someone like that, even just seeing her would make Xinghe happy all day.
Jiang Yezhou chuckled softly, "What a coincidence."
He reached out his hand, "Jiang Yezhou, your tutor, I will be in charge of your academic classes for the time being."
The clear, cool sound was like jade striking the inside of a cup.
"My parents have really made something of themselves! They actually managed to get you to be their teacher."
Xinghe reached out and grasped Jiang Yezhou's hand.
She didn't want to appear so pathetic, but Jiang Yezhou's hands were cool, like cold jade.
Holding it in this weather is just right.
She's still so beautiful and youthful.
Xinghe hesitated for a moment, but couldn't resist squeezing for a couple more seconds before reluctantly letting go.
Jiang Yezhou lowered his head, stared at his hands for two seconds, and then slowly raised his head.
His lips were still pale and colorless. He smiled slightly and said, "Thank you for the talisman last time. I slept well for a few nights."
"You are welcome."
Xinghe has always been very generous when it comes to beautiful women.
Her great looks are so kind to her eyes.
Xinghe added, "Your condition is already very serious. If the cause of your illness cannot be found soon, even the fate of the nation will not be able to protect you."
Jiang Yezhou's eyes remained unchanged, as calm as a clear spring. "I know."
Xinghe seemed much more anxious than him, scratching her head, but she couldn't find the specific cause of the illness either. Jiang Yezhou's body was like a bottomless pit, filled with malevolent energy.
It can be said that if it weren't for the protection of the nation's fortune, even those who got close to him would have been harmed by his malevolent aura.
