A high-ranking officer saw something was wrong at the door and stepped forward to ask, "What happened?"
The soldier replied, "Captain Mond, this visitor didn't have a pass but insisted on coming in, so I stopped him."
Luo Tian said, "It's urgent. I don't have my pass with me. Can you please verify my identity?"
The officer noticed that Luo Tian had chestnut hair, which was a characteristic of aristocrats, so he signaled to the soldier: "Verify your identity."
The soldier used an instrument to verify Luo Tian's identity: "Report to the commander, identity verification is complete, the royal prince Luo Tian."
The officer's arrogant expression immediately turned into a respectful one: "It is an honor for His Majesty to visit. What are you doing here?"
Luo Tian saw hope. In the Tianwang District, a royal identity was better than anything else!
"The live broadcast of the human body battery production you guys did in Star City today was very interesting. I want to go to the scene and see the production process with my own eyes." Luo Tian deliberately gave the order in an unquestionable tone.
The officer hesitated. According to Star City laws, the battery processing plant is a restricted area and the process of making human batteries is top secret. Ordinary people would not have the opportunity to see it. If anyone tried to force their way in, the guards had the right to shoot them immediately.
But the royal family is not ordinary people. They are the ones who make the laws. If you try to use the law to restrict them, you will only be asking for trouble.
If I offend this prince and he takes his anger out on me, I will become a human battery. I still remember that my predecessor offended Prince Roger and is now soaking in amniotic fluid and generating electricity for Star City.
"I can't go in?" Luo Tian pressed, "Okay, I'll let my father talk to you."
The officer quickly smiled and said, "Prince, look at what you said, how dare we not let you in? This place is too big, I'm afraid you can't find a place, I will accompany you."
Luo Tian nodded: "Okay. This is my first time here. It's not your fault if you don't recognize me. I will come here often in the future."
The officer immediately understood what Luo Tian meant. "That idiot just arrived. Don't worry, Prince. I will punish him severely. But please understand us. It would be wrong not to receive you according to legal procedures, right?"
Luo Tian drove the officer into the battery processing plant in a flying car, and it was just the right time to get some information about the processing plant from him.
"How big is this place? Are there a lot of batteries?" Luo Tian asked.
Mond replied, "Prince, there are more than a hundred battery processing plants, and each plant can handle at least 10,000 batteries. The one we are in now is quite special, and it is mainly used to deal with criminals. Other processing plants are more likely to deal with the dying."
Under the command of the officer, the car quickly arrived under a building, where two soldiers stopped them.
"Captain Mond, why are you here? Who is this?" asked the soldier.
"This is Prince Luo Tian. He wants to visit the live broadcast of the production of human body batteries. I made a special trip to bring him here. Is Captain Heidi still broadcasting live?" Mond asked.
"Yes, the situation inside is not very clear. You and the prince please wait a moment, I will report to the higher-ups right away." After the soldier said this, he turned around to report the situation.
Luo Tian waited anxiously, fearing that something unexpected might happen.
The soldier came back soon and said politely, "Captain Mond, Captain Heidi asked you to return to your post. I will take Prince Luo Tian up."
"Okay, then I'll leave it to you, Prince. I'll go back first." Mond bowed deeply, turned and disappeared into the darkness.
The soldier took Luo Tian into the elevator and soon reached the sixth floor. The two continued walking along the corridor, and there were soldiers with guns and live ammunition guarding them all the way.
Luo Tian didn't expect that the guards here were so strict. If he really wanted to rescue the two children by force, it would be harder than climbing to the sky. If only he could use his royal status to take them away directly.
Soon they reached the end of the corridor, and the soldier opened the door and said, "Please come in, Prince."
Luo Tian walked into the door and was sandwiched between two officers. A beautiful woman came towards him. It was Heidi, the host of the live broadcast just now. She was even more beautiful in person than in the live broadcast room.
"It's an honor to have your visit, Prince. I'm Heidi, captain of the Star City Guard. This is our first meeting, so please forgive me if I'm offended." Heidi bowed deeply.
"I hope I won't disturb your live broadcast?" Luo Tian asked.
"The amniotic fluid is still being infused and will soon be completed. I don't need to come on stage now. In about 5 minutes, before the cleanup begins, I will go on stage to host." Heidi said with a smile.
"Can I take a look?" Luo Tian wanted to observe it closely.
"Of course, please come this way." Heidi led Luo Tian to two amniotic fluid chambers, "Prince, look, this is the amniotic fluid chamber. After the amniotic fluid is injected, we will put in electric current to clear the memory and consciousness, and then make neuronal connections. It can be completed in less than half an hour." Heidi introduced.
Luo Tian noticed that there was no sympathy for the two children in Heidi's eyes. In her mind, this was just a routine job, as common as eating and sleeping.
The glass jar was transparent, and the amniotic fluid had already covered the boys' necks. Their hands and feet were fixed in the glass jar, and their heads were connected to many wires.
The silver-haired boy had a terrified look on his face and was shouting something, but the glass jar was soundproof and nothing could be heard. The pink-haired boy closed his eyes, as if he was asleep.
"Prince, the cleaning may cause you discomfort, so I suggest you don't watch it." Heidi reminded gently.
"Why is it inappropriate?" Luo Tian asked.
Heidi was a little surprised. She didn't expect him to ask this. She had also received visits from Princes Roger and Roy, so she gave a kind reminder.
Roger was very excited when he saw the amniotic fluid being injected. But when the cleaning began, a strong electric current went straight down from his brain, forcibly cutting off the established neurons. His body trembled violently due to the pain. At this time, the amniotic fluid chamber was like a boiling pot, and people were like live fish stewed in the pot, flapping up and down.
