Liao Nanxing, who was publicly humiliated, lowered his head so low it almost reached his waist.
No matter how harsh the female doctor's words were, Liao Nanxing remained silent.
After listening to the doctor's explanation, he took the things from the doctor's hand, turned around, and strode towards Su Mu.
Unexpectedly, Su Mu, who had been mechanically pacing like Donald Duck, suddenly went berserk the moment Liao Nanxing grabbed his hand, crying and shouting, "Help! Let me go! I won't go! I won't go!"
A piercing scream echoed through the hospital corridor.
All eyes turned to Liao Nanxing.
Zhou Chunhua was no exception.
But no one stepped forward to intervene.
For no other reason than that this is a psychiatric ward.
Anyone with a normal mind knows that the only people wearing hospital gowns here are mental patients.
Sure enough, the people who were originally close to Su Mu did not approach him; instead, they hid far away as if they had seen a ghost.
Liao Nanxing held Su Mu's hand tightly and scolded, "What's wrong with you? Come back with me right now!"
“I…no…” Su Mu shook his head in a daze.
Her already messy hair became even more disheveled.
"Let me go! Don't send me in! It hurts! It hurts so much!"
Listening to Su Mu's incoherent ramblings, Zhou Chunhua, like everyone around her, had no idea what he meant.
Just as everyone was looking on in confusion, Su Mu suddenly knelt down in front of Liao Nanxing and kept kowtowing.
"Please let me go! Please! Please let me go, please!"
"Get up!" Enraged, Liao Nanxing grabbed Su Mu and tried to drag him away.
Suddenly, Su Mu changed her previous gentle demeanor and bit down on the hand that Liao Nanxing was holding.
Liao Nanxing was in so much pain that his face was contorted, and he screamed in agony.
Taking advantage of the moment Liao Nanxing let go, Su Mu turned and ran towards her.
To Zhou Chunhua's surprise, before she could run away, Su Mu bumped into her arms.
Just as she was about to push Su Mu away and step aside, Su Mu suddenly grabbed her and cried out, "Zhou Chunhua, save me! Please, save me!"
Liao Nanxing, who had been chasing after them, suddenly stopped five steps away.
Zhou Chunhua turned her head to look at Su Mu, who was hiding behind her, and then at Liao Nanxing, who was standing five steps away. She couldn't help but sigh that life really is a play.
I remember the last time the three of them stood together like this, Su Mu was showing off her love with Liao Nanxing and their child.
In just six months, the two people who once asked her to fulfill their love have become like this.
Zhou Chunhua coldly raised the corners of her mouth and pulled the hem of Su Mu's clothes out of his hand.
Just as Su Mu looked at her in surprise, she pushed Su Mu to Liao Nanxing.
Liao Nanxing grabbed Su Mu and was about to leave.
Su Mu reached out to her and cried out, "Save me! I know I'm sorry, I know I was wrong, please save me, don't let him take me away! Please! I'll die at his hands!"
Zhou Chunhua smiled.
"Su Mu, you were the one who begged me to grant you your love and give your child a complete family. Now it seems that you two are truly a match made in heaven."
After saying that, she couldn't suppress the upward curve of her lips and turned away without hesitation.
The pent-up frustration that had been weighing on her chest for so long vanished at that moment.
Su Mu's fate was such that she could only say one thing: He deserved it!
When she returned downstairs with the results, Gu Yao asked her, "What happened? Why are you so happy?"
Zhou Chunhua smiled and told him everything about meeting Liao Nanxing and Su Mu upstairs.
After she finished speaking, she noticed that Gu Yao didn't seem curious at all, as if... as if he already knew.
"Gu Yao, you already knew about their current situation?"
Gu Yao shook his head: "I don't know."
"Then why aren't you curious?"
"What's so curious about that? People like them are destined for a bad end."
"Hmm, very good!" Gu Yao's words left her speechless.
"Just one last check left. Let's go, it's time for our number to be called."
Gu Yao walked in front, and she followed behind.
Upon entering the consultation room, Zhang Bo sat opposite the doctor.
Zhou Chunhua quickly placed a large stack of test reports in front of the doctor.
The doctor examined Zhang Bo carefully for a long time before finally looking up at him.
"May I have your name?"
"Zhang Bo".
"Okay, Zhang Bo, I'm going to ask you a few questions. Just answer them based on your thoughts."
"Okay." Zhang Bo nodded.
Zhou Chunhua also perked up her ears.
As she gets older, she worries that she might end up like Zhang Bo.
So I'm particularly curious about how these mental illnesses are diagnosed.
Then, the doctor said, "If you had to empty a bathtub full of water, with a spoon and a basin next to it, what would you do?"
Zhang Bo didn't answer immediately, but Zhou Chunhua answered in her mind without even thinking: Of course we should use a basin. If we use a spoon, it would take forever to scoop it up.
Sure enough, Zhang Bo also answered, "Use a basin."
Zhou Chunhua pouted, wondering to herself what the point of such a simple question, which even a child could not stump, was, when she saw the doctor mark an X on the evaluation form.
Now it was her turn to be dumbfounded.
What does that mean? Is it wrong? Is the basin wrong?
She didn't dare ask, fearing that Zhang Bo wouldn't be able to diagnose her, and that she would be diagnosed with a mental illness first.
