"It's alright. You didn't even have dinner, where did you get the energy? I brought you some food. I'll heat it up for you right away, come down and eat quickly."
Liu Xuan fled as if he were escaping.
Seeing Liu Xuan flee in a panic, Su Mu's lips curled into a smile.
She went back to her room, sat in front of the dressing table, and combed her hair over and over again.
As for her clothes, she had no intention of changing them at all.
Every now and then, she would check the time, and then wait quietly.
Until there was a knock on the door.
"Su Mu? Are you alright?"
"I……"
When the door opened, Su Mu nervously and awkwardly pulled at the bathrobe that was showing on his shoulders.
"You... you're fine, take your time changing. I was worried something might be wrong since you hadn't come down for so long, so I came up to check on you," Liu Xuan explained.
Su Mu bit her lower lip shyly and raised her head slightly.
"I... my clothes are wet, and I didn't bring any other clothes. So..." She didn't finish her sentence.
"It's alright. Um, if you don't mind, how about you wear mine for now?"
That's exactly what she was waiting for Liu Xuan to say.
"May I?"
"Of course." Liu Xuan nodded. "It's all my fault for not thinking things through. It's getting late, so please bear with this for now. I'll have someone buy it and deliver it tomorrow."
"No, no need to spend money. I'll just go back to my rented room and get a few changes of clothes."
"Okay." Liu Xuan nodded and stepped aside. "Then you can go to my room and choose one yourself. There's still some soup heating up on the stove in the kitchen. I'll go down first, hurry up and change and come down."
"Okay." After Su Mu agreed, Liu Xuan turned and left.
As Su Mu came downstairs, Liu Xuan's face slowly turned red, eventually becoming as red as a boiled shrimp...
