Since yesterday, Nini's complexion has improved a lot compared to the previous few days.
Although it still doesn't speak, at least it's not yelling and screaming like a madman anymore.
More importantly, sometimes when she talks to Nini, Nini responds.
She put Nini on the chair next to her.
"Nini, are you thirsty? Mom will get you some water."
Nini looked at the water dispenser and nodded.
She and Nini ran around all day without having a sip of water.
She was thirsty, and Nini must have been thirsty too.
After gulping down two glasses of water, I poured Nini a glass of warm water.
Nini must have been extremely thirsty, because she took the cup and drank it all in one gulp.
"Do you want more?" Zhou Chunhua asked.
Nini glanced at the water dispenser with a dazed look, then at her.
"What's wrong?"
Nini's expression looked even stranger than when she had no expression a few days ago.
"What's wrong?" she pressed.
I don't know if she was in a hurry and scared Nini or what.
A look of terror appeared in Nini's eyes.
She swallowed hard, shook her head vigorously like a rattle-drum, and kept shrinking back, her hands and feet tucked together, almost turning her whole body into a ball.
Zhou Chunhua was startled and quickly hugged her hair to her chest.
"Don't be afraid! Mommy's here, don't be scared..." she kept whispering in Nini's ear.
Nini, however, gasped for breath, repeatedly blurting out, "No, I'm not thirsty, I'm not thirsty, I won't drink anymore, I won't drink anymore..."
That feeling was like being afraid she would force-feed her water...
