"Why are you suddenly asking this?" Zhou Chunhua asked, puzzled.
"Well, I was just curious and asked casually. It's okay, I'll let you know when I hear from you."
Before she could speak, the call ended.
Just as I was feeling confused, the doorbell rang.
She rushed out and looked through the peephole; it was Gu Yao.
When she opened the door, Gu Yao was carrying a bag in one hand and handing her a file folder in the other.
"I knew you hadn't eaten anything this morning. Take a look at this first, I'll call you when it's ready." With that, Gu Yao went inside and headed to the kitchen.
Looking completely bewildered, Zhou Chunhua lowered her head and opened the file folder...
"Court Notice!"
"Are you happy?" Gu Yao, wearing an apron, poked his head out from the kitchen. "I brought it to you as soon as I received it."
Zhou Chunhua was so excited that she trembled all over.
"Gu Yao... will we... win?"
"You're not just lacking confidence, you're questioning my abilities." Gu Yao smirked. "Come on, help me out. We need to go back to the law firm to prepare some documents later."
"Um!"
After this matter is settled, she can go find Nini together.
She didn't know when it started, but whenever they were in the kitchen, the spatula and spoon were always in Gu Yao's hands, and she became the one helping out.
"Don't stand there, put the things in the bag in the refrigerator."

She was about to go and look at the card on the flowers when Gu Yao beat her to it and took the flowers into his office.
Watching Gu Yao eagerly examine the small card on the bouquet through the glass, Zhou Chunhua smiled and, as usual, took their cups to the tea room to make tea.
I had just put the tea leaves into the thermos when I heard someone enter the staff break room next door.
"You don't want your job anymore, do you? Be careful you don't end up like Zou Linlin!"
"Where did I say something wrong? I really don't know what Teacher Gu sees in her!"
"Shut up! I still have a mortgage and car loan to pay!"
"Tell me what happened, sis. Do you think... when Teacher Gu sees those roses, he'll just tell her to get lost? Haha! That's going to be a good show! Of all people to mess with, why does she dare to act up like this with Teacher Gu? She's really asking for trouble!"

She quickly put down the thermos and snatched the flowers from Gu Yao's hand.
"It's such a waste to throw away such beautiful flowers." Zhou Chunhua placed the bouquet on her desk.
After all, these flowers were sent by your loved one. You don't want them to get lost and never be able to find them again.

I found the file folder for her case and returned to my office. The moment I stepped inside, a flower delivery person came in.
"Did anyone ask if it was Ms. Zhou Chunhua?"
She nodded quickly.
"Your two bouquets of roses. Please sign for them." The deliveryman handed her a receipt.
Zhou Chunhua looked bewildered: "Mine?"
"Yes, Ms. Zhou Chunhua." The deliveryman confirmed the order again.
Who sent the flowers?
"I don't know about that; I'm just a courier for delivering flowers. But you can check if there's a message card on the flowers. Generally, there will be."
