Chapter 2 Mother's Friend

Aunt An's house is not far from Jiang's house. It is a small courtyard with two entrances and two exits. As Jiang Yule knocked on the door,

A young male voice came from inside the door

"Here it comes"

The door was opened, and what came into Jiang Yule's eyes was a dark-skinned but very handsome boy. He looked at Jiang Yule in disbelief, then came to his senses, turned sideways and shouted in surprise, "Mom, Yule is here!"

"Come in quickly. You're here so late. Have you eaten? We still have some meat bones that we cooked during the day. I'll heat some for you and make you a bowl of noodles." The young man left the door open to Jiang Yule and headed for the kitchen.

At this time, Jiang Yule also recognized who the person was and hurriedly stopped him, saying, "Brother Jiashu, please don't be busy. I came here after dinner to see Aunt An."

"Okay, then come in quickly. My mother always talks about you. She must be very happy to have you here." Zhou Jiashu warmly invited Jiang Yule to come in, and did not forget to take the gift from Jiang Yule.

"Brother Jiashu, are you back from vacation?" Jiang Yule asked. In her memory, Zhou Jiashu was Aunt An's eldest son. He went to the army early and she only saw him once a year. It was a coincidence that she came back today.

"Yes, Zhou Jialin fell down some time ago and no one was taking care of him, so I just took annual leave and came home to rest for a while."

"Ah? Jialin is injured? Is he okay?" Jiang Yule exclaimed. Zhou Jiashu is two years older than Jiang Yule. Compared with familiarity, the original owner is more familiar with Zhou Jialin, who is the same age as him.

"It's okay, I'm pretty tough," Zhou Jiashu said nonchalantly. Just as he was about to continue chatting, he saw Aunt An rushing out of the house happily, without even having time to put on her shoes.

"Auntie An, please slow down." Jiang Yule watched Auntie An staggering out and hurried forward to support her.

"Hey, it's okay, it's okay. How are you doing recently, girl Le? Auntie An has been wanting to visit you for a while, but I was afraid that you didn't want to see Auntie An."

"Aunt An, I'm fine. Look, I'm fine." Jiang Yule looked at Aunt An's red eyes. He didn't know if it was influenced by the original owner or something else, but his eyes couldn't help but feel sore and his heart became more aggrieved.

"Mom, Yule rarely comes home, let's not talk about this anymore," Zhou Jiashu comforted her. His mother had been very sad recently because of Jiang Yule's parents' affairs. She finally recovered a little. He didn't want his mother to think about those unhappy things with Jiang Yule again.

What's more....he saw that Yule came today and seemed to have something to say...

"Yes, yes, let's not talk about this. Let the past be the past. We have to look forward, our eyes are in front of us." Aunt An wiped her tears, patted Jiang Yule's hand, and led people into the house.

"Jiashu, there is some milk in the refrigerator. Take it out and give it to Le to heat up. Girls should drink more milk, it is good for their health."

"Okay," Zhou Jiashu responded and went to the kitchen

Jiang Yule did not refuse. She still had something else she wanted to do to get rid of Aunt An. She had to owe her a favor, and she didn't need to care about these little things.

"Yu Le, why are you here with Aunt An today? Is there something going on?" Aunt An calmed down and naturally noticed that Jiang Yu Le was hesitant to speak.

When Jiang Yule saw Aunt An speak, he told her everything the original owner's aunt had done. Before she could talk about the house, she saw Aunt An angrily slap the table, making the cups clink.

"These filthy people don't even care about my brother's only child. Just wait, I'll find someone to deal with them for you." Aunt An stood up and rolled up her sleeves as if she was going to have a fight with the eldest aunt of the Jiang family in the next moment.

Zhou Jiashu, who entered the room later, also heard the general idea. His handsome face was tightly knitted. He didn't expect that Uncle Jiang's sister would be such a money-hungry snob.

"Aunt An, don't worry." Jiang Yule pulled her back to her seat and continued, "Aunt An, I have something I want to ask you for help with today."

"You said it, Auntie An will definitely help if I can." Auntie An was panting, and she couldn't suppress the anger that rushed to her head.

"Aunt An, I want you to help me find someone to sell the house. It would be best if you could find someone with some influence, so that I can handle it when my aunt comes knocking on the door."

"That won't work. Where are you going to live if you sell the house?" Aunt An frowned and said disapprovingly.

"Aunt An, I'm going to the countryside. My eldest aunt has already applied for the quota, so I can't run away. I've also visited the street office. The place I'm going to is a commune in the Eastern Province. It's quite wealthy, so it won't be too hard."

"How can this be possible! How can I feel at ease if a little girl like you goes to such a far place alone? Just listen to Aunt An. Aunt An will find a way to get you a list of people who will go to the countryside. Your parents are martyrs, so there is room for maneuver. As for your eldest aunt, Aunt An is here and will never let you be bullied."

"Aunt An, I don't want to stay here..." Jiang Yule suddenly said, lowering his head with deep sadness all over his body. As for going to the countryside... his name has been reported, and the day after tomorrow is the departure date. Even if there is room for maneuver, it will not be easy. Jiang Yule does not want to embarrass Aunt An and Uncle Zhou.

On the other hand, for Jiang Yule, she had to leave because her personality was very different from the original owner. If she stayed, she would be discovered sooner or later. Moreover, in a few years, the young people who went to the countryside would be able to return to the city, and she would be back soon...

But Aunt An felt sad when she heard this.

Yes, although this is her hometown, it is also her sad place.

"But...but going to the countryside..." She still felt that going to the countryside was not appropriate. How could a spoiled little girl who grew up in the city bear to go to the countryside to farm?
