Chapter 81 Life Returns to Peace

She knew that Mu Chuan was honest, but he was also a very possessive person. In this situation last night, how could he sleep on the sofa in the living room...

"Are you awake? What do you want to eat? I'll make breakfast." Noticing the movement of the person in his arms, Mu Chuan put his arm around Jiang Yule's waist and pulled her towards him, his chest pressed tightly against Jiang Yule's back.

"I let you sleep on the sofa last night, didn't I?" Jiang Yule still closed his eyes and rested. He didn't resist his actions, but he didn't respond to his words.

"It's still early. Let's have breakfast later. Let's do something else." Mu Chuan kissed Jiang Yule's neck and ear.

The small kisses made Jiang Yule feel itchy.

She turned over and covered Mu Chuan's lips with her hands, "Don't bother me, I want to sleep a little longer."

"Okay, then you go to sleep," Mu Chuan said, and hugged Jiang Yule into his arms. Even though he was about to explode, he did not move at all.

As it was almost time to get up, Jiang Yule struggled to get up from the bed, ignoring the shirtless man. While cleaning up, he said, "I really didn't have the energy to talk to you about those things last night, but you should know my personality and what I can and can't compromise on. I won't go to the Beijing Hospital, so let's not talk about this. As for what your father said about being a housewife, if you think so, then our relationship ends here."

"No," Mu Chuan, who was frying eggs, objected disapprovingly.

"You have no say on whether it will succeed or not. Your father's attitude is very clear. Do you have the confidence to change his mind?" Jiang Yule came out of the bathroom with her hair tied up.

"Don't worry about him. We live our lives together. If you don't like it, we won't go home. Don't care about his attitude."

"That's your dad"

"No one can stop me from marrying you."

Jiang Yule suddenly found it funny. This guy is really stubborn and unyielding.

"Don't laugh, I'm serious. All my military achievements over the years were earned with real swords and guns. I didn't rely on any help from my family, so I can make my own decisions on my own affairs."

"After all, they are your parents. You should talk to them if you can."

"We have to talk, I'll talk when I get back, just don't leave me," Mu Chuan said as he came to Jiang Yule and hugged her from behind.

"Put on something. Your injury hasn't healed yet. Don't catch a cold again." Jiang Yule avoided Mu Chuan's move to kiss her neck and stuffed the bun into his mouth.

"You don't have any clothes for me, how about I bring some over some other day?"

"What are you talking about? You don't want fame, but I do." Jiang Yule crawled out of Mu Chuan's arms, ate a few bites, and then dressed and went out. "I'm in a hurry, so I'm leaving first. Please lock the door when you go back to the hospital next time."

"Okay, go ahead, be careful on the road." Mu Chuan watched Jiang Yule go out, and had no intention of following him. He said staying at home was one thing, and going out was another. This was the staff dormitory, and Jiang Yule was the doctor here. He knew that people's words were scary.

Mu Chuan cleaned up the house, changed his clothes and went out. When he arrived at the hospital, Jiang Yule was already in the operating room.

"Little brat, where did you go last night? Don't you know your parents will be worried?" Mu Chuan was slapped on the back by his mother as soon as he entered the ward. He didn't get angry. Contrary to his usual behavior, he sat down on the bed with a nonchalant look.

"Mom, where's Dad? Did you guys reach an agreement last night?"

Mu Chuan's mother looked at her son, somewhat puzzled by his strangeness, "You didn't stay at the Le family last night, did you?"

"Sleeping on the sofa, what are you thinking about?" Mu Chuan didn't want his mother to think too much, so he didn't tell the truth.

"That's good. We want to marry Yule in a grand manner, so we can't do those things."

"Let's not talk about this. You haven't reported me yet. Why is Dad still that way?"

"I don't know. He didn't talk to me last night. He had a gloomy face and I don't know what he was thinking."

"Well, you guys go visit grandma tomorrow and then go back." Mu Chuan didn't want to talk to his father anymore. Whether he accepted it or not, it wouldn't affect their lives.

"You really want to chase us away?" Mu Chuan's mother looked incredulous. She thought he just said it in anger yesterday, but why did he say it again today?

"I'm not chasing you away. I'm almost well now. There's nothing wrong with you guys staying here. If you keep talking, why don't you go back to work?"

"You just think we're getting in the way, so don't talk about this."

"Mom, you know, look, Dad has only been here for a few days, and he has already caused me such a big mess. If he stays any longer, I will lose my wife." Mu Chuan grumbled dissatisfiedly. He was not looking forward to returning to the capital at all. It has been like this in the past few days. He didn't know what would happen when he went back. He would spend a few more days of peace here with Yule. He would talk about the future later.

"Alright, alright, we won't cause you any more trouble. Take your parents to tell Yule they are sorry. Your dad is just too stubborn."

"Take this ring and recognize me as your daughter-in-law."

"And here's the passbook. Take it too. It contains the salary you sent me in the past few years. I saved it all for you. Take it, in case it comes in handy."

Mu Chuan's mother kept giving instructions and put all the things in a small bag for Mu Chuan.

"I don't need the passbook. It was originally given to you. I have my own."

"Take it. You live in a town and your expenses are high. Buy more good things for Yule. If it's not enough, tell mom." Mu Chuan's mother insisted on stuffing the things to Mu Chuan.

"Don't talk to your dad anymore. When we get back to Beijing, I'll ask your grandpa to deal with him. You two have stubborn personalities, so stop arguing."

"Okay, I understand." Mu Chuan nodded and sat down on the bed. He felt a little irritated. At the same time, he was thinking that he would be discharged from the hospital after his parents returned to Beijing. He was stuck in this small place, unable to do anything. He felt really suffocated.
