Chapter 14 Aunt Gao beat Xu Dong (1/2)

Zhou Yanjing's kiss fell on her lips, first gently probing, then gradually deepening, with aggression and possessiveness.

His hand slid into her collar, his palm against her skin, and he could feel Shen Liwu's fingers running through his hair, pulling it gently, as if in protest, but also as if in compliance.

There was an ambiguous atmosphere in the air, like the heat wave on a summer afternoon, making it hard to breathe.

When Shen Liwu woke up, Zhou Yanjing was gone. She rubbed her sleepy eyes and touched the remaining temperature on the bed sheets with her fingertips.

The sunlight outside the window shines in through the gaps in the curtains, forming a golden beam of light. Dust slowly dances in the beam, like tiny elves forgotten by time.

She sat up, and the thin blanket slipped off her body, revealing her fair shoulders, which still bore traces of the lingering nap.

She raised her hand and touched her neck. There was a slight stinging sensation where her fingertips touched, and she couldn't help but frown.

Zhou Yanjing always liked to leave some marks on her, as if he was declaring his sovereignty.

She looked down at her chest, and a smile unconsciously appeared on the corner of her mouth. Although she sometimes felt that he was so overbearing that it gave her a headache, the feeling of being cherished made her feel warm in her heart.

After taking a shower and changing clothes, with her hair tied into a loose bun, Shen Liwu walked out of the bathroom and planned to go up the mountain. She wanted to dig herbs. This was the south, the place with the most complete medicinal materials, and the mountains were full of treasures.

There were no tools at home, so she planned to borrow some from Zhang Damei's house next door.

"Sister Zhang, are you home?" Shen Liwu knocked on the door, her voice soft and polite.

There was a sound of footsteps inside the door, and then the door was opened a crack. Zhang Damei's face poked out from the crack, looking at her with a smile.

"Oh, isn't this Yan Jing's wife? Come in, come in!" Zhang Damei greeted her warmly, opened the door, and stepped aside to make way.

Shen Liwu smiled slightly and walked in. The house is not big, but it is clean and tidy.

"Sister-in-law, I came here to borrow a hoe and a backpack from you. I want to go to the mountain to dig some herbs." Shen Liwu stated the purpose of his visit directly.

When Zhang Damei heard this, her eyes lit up, "You want to go up the mountain? I'll go with you. I just want to pick some wild fruits for my son. You've really found the right person! My hoe is light and easy to use. Wait, I'll get it for you." After saying that, she turned and went into the house, and soon came out with a brand new hoe.

"Here, take it. Be careful not to hurt your hands." Zhang Damei handed the hoe to Shen Liwu and warned.

Shen Liwu took the hoe and found it was indeed light in his hand. The wooden handle was smooth and warm, and it was obvious that it was used frequently. "Thank you, sister-in-law. I'll return it to you when I'm done."

Zhang Damei waved her hand and said with a smile: "No, there's no hurry to return it. If you find it convenient, just dig more. There's not much in the mountains here. We go up the mountain to dig wild vegetables every day, and we've dug up everything we should."

"The backpack is over there, let's each carry one."
