Shen Liwu's eyes were as cold as ice. She stared at Shen Jiajia, without a trace of warmth in her voice. "Misunderstanding? Shen Jiajia, do you need me to remind you of the things you did? You acted innocent in front of Zhou Yanjing and pitiful in front of me. Do you think I can't see through your thoughts?"
"Sister, why do you have to do this to me? What did I do wrong?"
Shen Liwu sneered, his eyes as sharp as a sword, "You are wrong not to covet things that don't belong to you. Zhou Yanjing is my husband, why do you think you are qualified to get close to him?"
Shen Jiajia really wanted to beat Shen Liwu to death. If it weren’t for Zhou Yanjing, she wouldn’t bother to pretend.
Tears fell silently, and her voice was almost squeezed out of her throat, "But sister, you don't love him, right? He is so good, why don't you treat him well? Since you don't want it, why can't I..."
"Shut up!" Shen Liwu slapped Shen Jiajia in the face and interrupted her harshly, "Shen Jiajia, I warn you, if it's not yours, don't dream about it."
She was stupid before. She thought she could still confide in her even though they were not related by blood, and treated her as her best sister. But what she got in return was betrayal and hurt. Now she won't make the same mistake again.
Shen Jiajia's head was hit and tilted to one side. Her cheek was burning with pain and her eyes were filled with shock and anger. She covered her face, her voice full of disbelief, “Shen Liwu, you hit me?”
Shen Liwu's palm was still slightly hot. She had used a lot of force in that slap, and her palm was burning with pain.
"Beating you is not a big deal. I'm not afraid even if you tell dad about it. I just don't know if dad will kick you out of the house if he finds out that you seduced your brother-in-law."
Shen Jiajia hated Shen Liwu so much that she clenched her fists. Shen Jiajia rushed over and reached out to grab Shen Liwu's collar, with raging anger in her eyes.
Jealousy and unwillingness have long since overwhelmed reason.
Her fingers were almost about to touch Shen Liwu's collar, but Zhou Yanjing grabbed her wrist with such force that her bones rattled.
Shen Jiajia's wrist was clamped tightly by Zhou Yanjing. She gasped in pain and the anger in her eyes was instantly replaced by pain.
Her voice was hoarse, almost shouting: "Let me go!"
Zhou Yanjing's eyes were cold, and his voice was low and oppressive, "Shen Jiajia, that's enough. If you dare to touch her again, don't blame me for being rude."
Shen Jiajia's face turned pale, tears rolled down her cheeks, and her voice was filled with reluctance and despair, "Why do you all treat me like this? What did I do wrong?"
Shen Liwu stood aside, looking at her coldly, without a trace of fluctuation in his eyes. "You know what you did wrong, you don't need us to tell you."
Zhou Yanjing let go of his hand, and Shen Jiajia staggered back a few steps and almost fell. She covered her wrist, tears falling, her voice choked, "Brother-in-law, do you hate me so much? Is it wrong for me to like you?"
Zhou Yanjing did not answer, but turned to Shen Liwu, held her hand, and whispered: "Let's ignore her."
Shen Liwu nodded, took Xu Dong's hand, and the three of them turned and left. Shen Jiajia stood there, looking at their backs, tears in her eyes blurring her vision.
Her fingers clenched the corner of her clothes tightly, her nails almost digging into her flesh. The jealousy and resentment in her heart surged up like a tide, almost drowning her.
"Chen Liwu, just wait for me!" She clenched her teeth, her voice so low that only she could hear it, and a hint of viciousness flashed in her eyes.
