Her eyes flickered, as if she was hit by the sudden questioning, but she quickly recovered and a sneer appeared at the corner of her mouth.
"What are you talking about? I don't understand. I think you have paranoid delusions!"
Shen Liwu's gaze was like an ice blade, without any retreat.
"You may not admit it, but I know it was your idea. Although Shen Jiajia hates me, she has never thought of killing me. If no one gave her the idea, she would not have done so.
Chen Yichu is your cousin. He killed Shen Jiajia for you and to silence her. Am I right? ”
Jiang Wei was a little flustered, but when she thought that Shen Jiajia was already dead and no one could accuse her of being an accomplice, she gradually became bolder.
"It's a good story, but it's not me."
"You can deny it, time is the best proof. I don't have any evidence now, so I can't do anything to you. When I find evidence, I will make you pay the price." Shen Liwu's voice was as cold as ice, and every word hit Jiang Wei's heart. Her fingers clasped Jiang Wei's wrist tightly, with such force that it almost broke the bones.
Jiang Wei's expression changed slightly, but he still held on, and the smile on his lips became more and more sarcastic.
"Whatever you say, you have no evidence, right?" Her voice was light, like a provocation, but also like she didn't care.
Zhou Yanjing stood aside, his eyes as sharp as a sword, as if he could dissect Jiang Wei's thoughts. He didn't say anything, but his presence itself was a deterrent, oppressing Jiang Wei's breathing to the point of being unstable.
"You'd better pray that I never find evidence." The rain flowed down her cheeks, mixed with cold sweat, and dripped onto the ground. Her eyes were as cold as the frost in winter, fixed on Jiang Wei's hypocritical smile.
"Do you think you can get away with it without evidence?" Her voice was low, as if it came from the abyss, filled with endless depression and anger.
Jiang Wei's smile froze for a moment, and then he shrugged nonchalantly.
"I don't understand what you are saying. If you make false accusations without any evidence, you will be criticized." She shook the bag in her hand with pretended nonchalance, as if this confrontation was just an insignificant episode.
Zhou Yanjing stood behind Chen Liwu, his figure as straight as a mountain, the rain hitting his shoulders and flowing down his military uniform.
"Jiang Wei, I thought you were just a little stubborn. Did you ever think about Commander Jiang when you did these things? Tell me, why did you want to hurt her?"
Jiang Wei turned his head away, not daring to look directly at Zhou Yanjing, and his voice became a little trembling.
"Don't talk nonsense, I didn't hurt anyone! It was Shen Liwu, she just couldn't stand me making things up out of thin air!"
"I'll find the evidence."
Jiang Wei's breathing became rapid and his chest heaved violently, like a wild beast trapped in a cage, eager to find a way out.
"I didn't do it! What makes you say that?" Her voice rose an octave, with a hint of hysteria.
There was a flash of panic in Jiang Wei's eyes, but she still held on, her face was as pale as paper, and her lips trembled slightly.
"You are slandering me!" Her voice was sharp and piercing, as if she was trying to use the volume to cover up the fear in her heart.
Shen Liwu looked at her coldly, without any fluctuation in her eyes.
