"How can I get up if you're holding me down?"
Jiang Yue's muffled voice came from her waist and abdomen, soft and delicate, making Lu Jingnian's breathing quicken.
The woman's soft, black hair brushed against his palm, a slightly warm and itchy sensation. Lu Jingnian felt the change in his body and quickly pulled his hand away as if he had been electrocuted.
Jiang Yue stood up, rubbed her stinging face, and glared at Lu Jingnian.
Her gaze wasn't aggressive at all; instead, it appeared charming and alluring to Lu Jingnian, making her incredibly captivating.
Jiang Yue glared at Lu Jingnian, her gaze growing increasingly intense, as if he were about to devour her alive. Jiang Yue took two steps back, somewhat intimidated.
It's not lights out yet, who knows if the nurse will come over.
She dared not provoke Lu Jingnian again; if this man went crazy, even if she cried and begged him, it would be useless.
"I'll go get you some water."
Picking up another basin, Jiang Yue turned and walked towards the bathroom.
The speed was as if something was chasing her from behind.
Lu Jingnian chuckled and shook his head, then got up, grabbed the thermos, and followed him to the bathroom.
He was just teasing Jiang Yue. He no longer needs to lie in the hospital bed and have Jiang Yue help him clean up. He can go to the bathroom to wash himself, as long as he doesn't touch his wounds.
When Lu Jingnian went in, Jiang Yue was washing her face.
In the mirror, Jiang Yue's face was flushed, and water droplets slid down her flushed face. Lu Jingnian put the water bottle aside, wrapped Jiang Yue in his arms from behind, gently pinched her chin with his slender fingers, and looked at her through the mirror.
Jiang Yue's body stiffened slightly, and her face flushed even more when she met Lu Jingnian's aggressive gaze.
"Let me go!"
Lu Jingnian wasn't wearing a shirt. The wound on his arm had scabbed over, and he hadn't needed to wrap it with gauze for a couple of days. Only his shoulder still had a white patch.
Lu Jingnian, with his resolute yet vulnerable demeanor, seemed easy for Jiang Yue to bully.
But right now, it's clearly this man who's bullying her.
Lu Jingnian sensed Jiang Yue's stiffness, a mocking smile flashing in his deep eyes, "Yueyue, are you scared?"
At night, his wife is like a fiery little vixen, incredibly bold.
But during the day, she becomes very shy about such things and is afraid that people will see her.
"Lu Jingnian, stop messing around."
The warm, slight pain from her earlobe made Jiang Yue's face turn bright red. She tried to avoid the slight stinging sensation, but Lu Jingnian held her chin, preventing her from moving.

Jiang Yue got off the sink, locked the bathroom door, and then pushed Lu Jingnian down onto the sink. She was careful with her movements and strength, making sure not to touch his injured arm.

When Jiang Yue came out, leaning against Lu Jingnian's chest, her hair was wet and her steps were weak and unsteady. If Lu Jingnian hadn't been supporting her, she wouldn't have been able to walk at all.
