Jiang Yue took two sips of water, closed her eyes, and leaned against Lu Jingnian, closing her eyes as well.
Lu Jingnian slept for more than forty minutes in the car. When the car stopped in front of the Jiang family's house, he glanced at his watch. Jiang Yue still had half an hour before she went to school.
He didn't wake Jiang Yue; he simply carried her out of the car.
Shen Huaiyuan had other things to do, so he didn't go downstairs. After Lu Jingnian got out of the car with Jiang Yue and Yao Hua in his arms, Shen Huaiyuan drove away.
Lu Jingnian carried Jiang Yue back to the bedroom, took off her shoes, covered her with a blanket, and then went downstairs to make a phone call, asking Song Gang to drive over.
Then I went to the kitchen and made some food for Jiang Yue.
When she wakes up, she can eat in the car on her way to school.
Jiang Yue was fast asleep and had no idea she was home. Lu Jingnian woke her up, and seeing she was still in the car, she assumed she hadn't arrived home yet.
How long have we been walking?
Jiang Yue groggily opened her eyes and looked at Lu Jingnian beside her.
"The car just left the compound."
Lu Jingnian handed the water glass to Jiang Yue, "We've already gone home once, and now we're heading to school. Drink some water to clear your head, then eat something. You'll be going to class soon."
"Have we already gone home?"
Jiang Yue instantly sobered up a bit and realized that the driver in front was not Shen Huaiyuan, but Song Gang.
After taking a couple of sips of water, Jiang Yue rubbed her temples, feeling a headache coming on. When Lu Jingnian handed her some food, Jiang Yue waved her hand.
"I just woke up and I don't have an appetite. I'll leave it here for now and eat it when I get to school."
Jiang Yue not only had no appetite, but also felt uncomfortable in her stomach and wanted to vomit!
