Chapter 195 Yueyue, your hair?

Carrying Jiang Yue out to the backyard, Shen Min and Yao Hua, who were waiting outside, immediately ran over.

"Jing Nian, how is Yueyue?"

Shen Min looked at Jiang Yue in Lu Jingnian's arms and asked.

Jiang Yue had her eyes closed and was unresponsive; it was unclear whether she was asleep or had fainted.

"Mom, Yueyue is asleep. The Taoist priest said that Yueyue will be fine for the next five years."

Yao Hua's gaze fell on Jiang Yue's head, and her eyes immediately reddened. "Battalion Commander Lu, why has Yueyue's hair turned white?"

How could the Soul-Stabilizing Technique have made Yueyue so weak, and why has her hair turned white?

Shen Min was so focused on Jiang Yue's face that she didn't even notice the white hairs on Jiang Yue's head until Yao Hua pointed it out.

Lu Jingnian explained, "The Taoist priest said that Yueyue had consumed too much energy to solidify her soul, which is why she was like this."

He will make some pills for Yueyue, and she will get better after taking them for a month.

"As long as everyone is alright, that's all that matters."

Shen Min nodded and urged Lu Jingnian, "You should quickly take Yueyue back to the room to rest. Hua Hua and I will go make something to eat."

It was early in the morning, and no one had eaten yet.

"I'll cook some porridge for Yueyue. When she wakes up, I'll let her drink some porridge first."

"Okay, then I'll carry her back to her room first."

Lu Jingnian nodded and carried Jiang Yue back to the room.

When Lu Jingnian put Jiang Yue on the bed and covered her with a blanket, he accidentally touched her hand and discovered that she had a wound on her finger.

Upon seeing the wound, Lu Jingnian froze.

After covering Jiang Yue with the blanket, Lu Jingnian bent down and carefully examined the wound on Jiang Yue's finger. He then looked at the wound on his own finger and found that the two wounds were exactly the same.

It looks like a copy.

After placing Jiang Yue's hand under the covers, Lu Jingnian quickly left the room to find the old Taoist priest.

The old Taoist priest returned, took a sip of water, and was about to go find medicinal herbs to make pills for Jiang Yue when Lu Jingnian blocked him at the door.

"Master, don't you have anything to explain to me?"

Lu Jingnian scrutinized the old Taoist priest with a sharp gaze.

"Explain what?"

The old Taoist priest glanced at Lu Jingnian with disdain. "I'm just here to do things. If you have any questions, go ask your wife."

Why does everyone have to make things difficult for this old man?

What did he do wrong?

What a terrible thing!

"snort!"

Lu Jing snorted and turned to leave.

The old Taoist priest watched his retreating figure, pursed his lips, and thought that if it weren't for his junior brother's sake, he would have kicked the kid out long ago.

Jiang Yue slept until noon before waking up.

Lu Jingnian sat by the bedside the whole time, staying by Jiang Yue's side without leaving her side for a moment.

He held Jiang Yue's hand, his gaze fixed on the wound on her finger.

Lu Jingnian remembered very clearly that Jiang Yue had no wounds on her hands. Even if she had a wound, it couldn't possibly be exactly the same as the wound on his finger.

Jiang Yue opened her eyes and saw Lu Jingnian looking intently at her fingers.

Jiang Yue was always groggy when she first woke up, but this time her mind was exceptionally clear. She immediately remembered that when the old Taoist priest was performing the ritual, a wound suddenly appeared on her finger.

"husband."

When Jiang Yue spoke, her voice was no longer hoarse and sounded much normal.

What are you looking at?

Jiang Yue pulled her hand back, and her eyes widened when she saw the wound on it. She frowned and asked in confusion, "How did I get a wound on my finger?"

"Don't you know?"

Lu Jingnian looked at Jiang Yue and asked softly.

Jiang Yue shook her head blankly, "I don't know, my hand was fine when I went to the backyard with the Taoist priest."

Lu Jingnian looked at her, and the doubt and confusion in Jiang Yue's eyes didn't seem faked; she genuinely seemed to know nothing.

"As long as you're alright, this little wound will heal in a couple of days."

The wounds on Lu Jingnian and Jiang Yue's fingers were not deep and had stopped bleeding long ago. The old man gave them some ointment to apply to Jiang Yue's fingers, so there was no need to bandage them.

"Are you hungry? Mom made some porridge, would you like some?"

Lu Jingnian asked the river moon.

Jiang Yue rubbed her stomach, smiled and nodded, "I do feel a little hungry."

Lu Jingnian smiled and straightened her clothes, then brought her shoes and helped her put them on before leading her outside.

"I feel much better now. You don't need to help me. I can walk by myself."

Jiang Yue had taken a nap and felt some strength returning to her body; she could walk without any problem.

"The Taoist priest said that you expended too much energy in the formation and your body is very weak."

Lu Jingnian didn't want Jiang Yue to walk by herself; he was afraid she would fall.

Jiang Yue was both amused and exasperated; Lu Jingnian was probably treating her like a child.

When Shen Min saw that Jiang Yue had woken up, she quickly brought her the porridge that had been kept warm.

"Yueyue, drink your porridge quickly."

Shen Min looked at Jiang Yue's exposed white hair with heartache, feeling extremely distressed.

"Thank you, Mom."

Although Shen Min made the porridge, the ingredients in it were all added by the old Taoist priest.

There are black beans, black sesame seeds, and lotus seeds...

There were also some Jiang Yue didn't recognize. The porridge looked dark and was very soft and mushy because it had been cooked for a long time, somewhat like sesame paste.

Jiang Yue took a bite, and her eyes immediately lit up.

This porridge not only has sugar in it, but it also tastes great.

Jiang Yue quickly finished her bowl, still wanting more. "Mom, is there any more?"

"Yes, I'll get you some more."

Shen Min was happy to see that Jiang Yue had a good appetite.
