Upon hearing this, Lu Jingnian knew that his father had misunderstood.
"You and Mom don't need to worry about these things for me. I have the money to buy a house."
I just feel guilty that I didn't prepare these things for Yueyue when we got married.
After watching Yao Hua and Political Commissar Yu leave, Jiang Yue turned to look at Lu Jingnian and saw him talking quietly with his father. She smiled and walked over.
Jiang Yue smiled and said to Lu's father, "Dad, I need to talk to Jing Nian about something. Please have some tea with my dad and Uncle Yu first."
Mr. Lu nodded with a smile, "Alright, alright, Jingnian, you should go with Yueyue now."
When Jiang Yue arrived, Lu Jingnian stood up. Hearing that Jiang Yue had something to discuss with him, Lu Jingnian quickly went upstairs with her.
Once back in his room, Lu Jingnian finally asked Jiang Yue, "What did you want to see me about?"
While packing her things, Jiang Yue said to Lu Jingnian, "My master gave me an address today and asked me to go help a child."
I happen to have some free time right now, so I thought I'd head over there.
Since Yao Hua and Political Commissar Yu don't need her for the time being, Jiang Yue plans to go see the child her master mentioned first.
"What child?"
Lu Jingnian frowned as he listened.
"He is an orphan. His master said that his parents died when he was very young while saving people. He now lives with his grandmother, but his grandmother seems to be sick recently. This child has to take care of his grandmother and go to school, which is very hard."
The master also said that when he met this child, the child was hiding outside crying because he couldn't afford the tuition.
After saying that, Jiang Yue tossed a piece of clothing to Lu Jingnian.
"Go change your clothes quickly and come with me."
If you're not going, I can go by myself.
“I didn’t say I wouldn’t go.”
Lu Jingnian quickly changed his clothes, then said goodbye to the elders in his family, and went out with Jiang Yue.
